The beauty of thinks can be so often overlooked, the beauty of a mountainous landscape, the beauty of a woman or even just a patch of fine grass. I can look outside my window and spot so many things that can be considered beautiful. All through the ages beauty has been important in many cultures, what was it that inspired the earliest man to takes some rocks and make a picture on a cave wall, what about the fine roman and renaissance art and the Japanese with all of their artisticness. The Japanese swords of the samurai even now have engravings of floral patterns on various parts of the sword even the knightly swords in Europe during the renaissance have floral patterns on the hilts even if it isn’t so true now with the modern reproductions. The Japanese have always loved beauty in fact a book I found from the 1950s described Japan as the land of the people who love beauty. The manliest of samurai warriors would stop his sword in mid swing to not his a butterfly or to not cut a branch of a cherry tree.
That leads me to another subject, what about legends or symbolism and even modern names that where all inspired by beauty. I was now looking at Japanese names for girls and many of them mean things like cherry blossom or flower even a few of the Japanese boy’s names stand for beauty.
Well I cant think of what else to write about concerning beauty and I’m sorry a lot of it was referencing Japanese stuff I just know a bunch about Japan
