Ari gulped hard and scrambled back a bit on her bed. People crowded around her making her feel closed in and, strangly, more open minded. "I cant imagine what it feels like to be surrounded by people 24/7" She thought to herself.
"MOVE OVER, ALEX!!!!!! LET ME THROUGH!!!" Malloy's irritated yell rang throught the room leaving dead silence. Malloy had finally made her way up to Ari.
"Tell me what happened" Malloy demanded. Ari normally would have refused to relive the moment for she thought she was going crazy. But this was Malloy and everyone in the large family knew NOT to mess with her. SO Ari told her everything from the the connection Jezzi had talked about to her crazy fit that had attracted the whole family into her normal sized room. Malloy sat on the edge of the bed. Then got up and walked out. Ari ran after her and yanked her around.
"What are you going to do?" Ari demanded. She sounded much more bold and brave than she really was. Her hands shook and she was very light-headed.
"I am going to call the doctor of course" Malloy ansered matter-of-factly.
Ari, outraged, screamed "No! No you can't!!! I know now I am not crazy nor am I delusinal!! You HAVE to trust me. You just have too!!!". There was no trace of the sweet, gentle, careless young lady she once was. There was no charm in her voice. When Ari saw Malloy looking at her surprised Ari whispered "please, for my sake". Malloy put her cellphone back in her pocket "Fine. You win. But this is getting out of hand".
"I know . . can I call Jezzi?" Ari pleaded.
"Yes of course" Malloy said before finally walking out. The family know each gave Ari a hug before exiting her room. Once they were gone Ari couldnt help but notice that the room which wasnt very big at all looked huge. She sighed and sat on the side of her bed to call Jezzi. Ari pondered as she dialed the number. "Are you really watchign over me, Michael . .?" She thought before the phone began to ring once more.
