The moment Brooke met Lucas was essientially the moment where it all changed for her. Her relationship with Lucas helped her change and grow. It helped her realize that it wasn't all about sex, that she didn't have to act a certain way to make a guy like her. It made her realize that some guys will see through her slut act and notice how amazing her heart truly is. It also made her realize how much love can hurt, how much you have to sacrafice. It made her want to be better - it helped her make the change from 'party slut' to 'student body president, cheerleader, amazing friend, amazing girlfriend, adoptive mom, the girl who saves people'.
Lucas lost his virginity to Brooke. Brooke made Lucas re-evulate his mistakes. She made him want to be better, want to fix the past, to show her how sorry he truly was for hurting her. Even after the final break-up Lucas continued to go to Brooke for help and guidance. When he felt lost without Peyton he called Brooke. When he didn't know what to do about his movie and all the possible changes, he went to see her. Brooke was still a big part of his life after everything that they had gone through together. He cares about her - he showed that by showing up at the airport even when she told him not to go.
I think that this part of the reason that I love Brucas so incredibly much. They really helped each other grow and become better people. Their relationship wasn't without faults, it was through those faults that Brooke Davis, the famous fashion designer, and Lucas Scott, the famous novelist, were created.
"Brooke Davis is going to change the world someday, and i'm not sure she even knows it yet."
- You know that those words stayed with Brooke and gave her strength to get through all of the worries and challenges in her life before C/B turned into the company that it is today.
"Lucas Scott is going to change the world someday .. and he doesn't even know it yet."
- And her words back to him .. helped him get over Peyton and find love again with Lindsey.
They always know just what to say to each other to make everything alright again. They inspire each other. They make each other want to be a better person. They still care about each other so much, that much is obvious.
Brooke Davis and Lucas Scott are going to change the world together someday .. and they don't even know it yet.
