THE CHRISTMAS SPECIAL
“ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOU”
SCENE ONE
(At their house... and yes they live together. AWW!)
[It’s Christmas Eve and Brooke/Lucas are getting ready to head over to the naley house to celebrate. Brooke is wearing a RED dress and Lucas is wearing a suit. Awww... true love.]
Brooke: Uh-um [clears throat behind Lucas]
[Lucas spins around in the middle of tying his tie to see Brooke behind him holding a christmas present.]
Lucas: Oh! Hey pretty girl! [gives small peck on lips] What’s this? [Signals towards the present in Brooke’s hands]
Brooke: Well, since I am on SUCH a tight budget since I started working on my new line, I’m guessing it’s nothing good.
Lucas: [ He smiles slightly] It’s wrapped in... [peers closer at the gift] elmo wrapping paper. It has to be good. [They both smile together]
Brooke: Don’t tell me you don’t like elmo! I thought it was adorable wrapping paper! Besides, this was all I had left and I didn’t really feel like going out to buy more. It was the paper I was using for Jamie.
Lucas: You’re right. I cannot deny Elmo’s cuteness. [He smiles again and kisses her once more (aww!)] And, I’d say the wrapping paper is a gift in itself.
Brooke: That’s what I’m saying! [Lucas laughs and Brooke smiles]
Lucas: You know, Brooke, you didn’t have to get me anything. Especially with all the stress your going through with the new line.
Brooke: Don’t be stupid! I have to get a present for my boyfriend! Besides, it wasn’t much.
Lucas: Speaking of presents, I think I got you the perfect one. What was your list, again?
Brooke: [purses her lips and looks thoughtful]. Well, first I wanted a really hot guy to hang out with me on Christmas... but I already got that. [Lucas smiles and laughs a little] So then I decided on a pony... because every girl wants a pony! And I never got one.
Lucas: Hmmm... a pony?
Brooke: Yes! A cute little white one... oh my god that was always my dream to have a little stallion come up to me and play with me and I could pet him and feed him and play princess with him, or her... I’ve wanted one since I was like seven, but I never got it. Haven’t I ever told you that?
Lucas: Only about a thousand times. [Lucas smiles.] But do you really want a pony?
Brooke: Lucas, be serious, I didn’t expect you to get me a pony. [they both smile in unison]
Lucas: Well, than what DO you want for Christmas?
Brooke: Surprise me. I trust you to get me something not completely hideous. [Brooke smiles]
Lucas: What an honor. [Lucas puts the small package under his arm. They link arms and start walking out the door]
Brooke: Do you think Jamie will like the easy bake oven we got him? He told me he was planning on being a chef when he got older... [They are walking outside now, and the dark streets are glittering with Christmas lights. Lucas Laughs.] What?
Lucas: Brooke, last week Jamie wanted to be a fireman. The week before that he wanted to be a teacher, like his mom. And the week before that, he wanted to be spider man.
Brooke: What’s wrong with being spider man?? [Lucas laughs... again :D]
Lucas: All I’m saying is, he wants to be something new every day. You shouldn’t take his new aspiring career choices to heart.
Brooke: So you think he won’t like it?
Lucas: No, of course not! I think he’ll love it. [They kiss shortly]
[Music starts playing in the empty streets and the glittering lights make the ground sparkle]
Brooke: [Smiles excitedly] Lets dance!
Lucas: I don’t know... isn’t that a little notebookey?
Brooke: So? It would be so romantic![She puts on a puppy dog face and pleads with her eyes, her hands clasped together]
Lucas: Anything for you, pretty girl.
[Brooke squeals with excitement and jumps up and down for a short second, Lucas laughs and rolls his eyes. They take hands and move into the center of the street. They are most certainly in love. (So Take that leytoners! LOL JK... kinda. :D)]
[They dance a while in the middle of the street, simply moving in a slow circle while they hold on to each other. Lucas then twirls Brooke out and than back into his chest and they laugh together. He than dips her and looks straight into her eyes.]
Brooke: Well my, my Mr. Scott you sure can dance.
Lucas: [He smiles.] And I’m good with the romance, too.
[He leans down and kisses her. They are in the middle of a kiss when they hear a car come racing down the street. They jump aside just in time, and the man in the passenger of the huge SUV gives them the finger as they speed down the road. They look at each other in shock for a moment, and than burst out in uncontrollable laughter]
Lucas: I swear, Brooke Davis, you will be the death of me.
Brooke: You say that like it’s a bad thing. [They laugh together]
Lucas: I say we just try to get ourselves to Haley and Nathan’s in one piece.
Brooke: Alright. I think I can grant that wish. [They kiss once more and than continue walking through the sparkling streets. Fade out.]
SCENE TWO
(At the Naley House... sorry for the cheese :D:D)
Brooke and Lucas walk into the house where Nathan, Haley, Peyton, Jake, and Jamie are all sitting around the Christmas Tree.]
Jamie: Can I please just open one?
Haley: Jamie, don’t you want to wait until Christmas? If you open one now than that is one less than you get to open tomorrow.
Jamie: Fine...
Brooke: Hey guys!
Haley: Oh hey guys! Come on in! [Nathan walks into the kitchen.]
[Brooke and Lucas both walk in and take a seat next to each other on the floor.]
Brooke: I say we let the kid open one present. Really, what will one hurt?
Haley: Alright, later...
Brooke: Aww please! Can’t we do it now? I say we all open one present!
Haley: Alright, Alright. Jamie, you are lucky you have such a pushy aunt. [Everyone Laughs Together.(Aww the Christmas Spirit!)]
[Nathan walks back in and hands them both a mug of coffee (yum!)]
Brooke: Alright, Nathan you go first!
Nathan: Okay... [Grabs randomly for a gift with his name on it. Picks one out.] This one looks great! And lets see... it’s from
Haley. Wait, I thought we weren’t doing gifts this year!
Haley: Are you honestly telling me you didn’t get me anything?
Nathan: No... [They Both Smile Together.]
Haley: Then lets just stop saying No Gifts. We’ve said that for six years and every year we end up getting each other something. [Everyone Smiles.]
Nathan: [Unwraps Gift]. ROCKBAND 2??? HELL YES! THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED! [Everyone laughs.]
Haley: Sometimes I think he’s more of a kid than Jamie is. [Everyone laughs, Nathan rolls his eyes.] Thanks, Hales. [They Kiss]
Nathan: Well than your up next, Haley. And this one’s from me. [Hands her a gift.]
Brooke: I know what it is!
Haley: Thanks, Brooke. [Haley Laughs] Okay... [Unwraps paper. Haley gasps.] It’s beautiful![Holds up pearl necklace. (oohlala! :D:D)]Oh thank you! Thank you, thank you! [They Kiss. (AWWW!)]
Brooke: Okay, Okay love birds. Remember your son is in the room. Jamie, open mine! [Hands him the gift from under the tree].
Jamie: Cool! [Opens the gift.] AWESOME!!! Thanks Aunt Brooke!
Brooke: Your welcome, buddy. [They Hug].
Brooke: Now, Lucas it’s your turn. Open the one I got you, but save the wrapping paper! [They laugh together at the inside joke.]
Lucas: Alright... [Opens it up]. 2 tickets to... the red sox game?
Brooke: Yeah I figured I’ve never been to a basketball game, and I wanted to go with you for my first time! [Everyone Laughs Hysterically.] What?????
Lucas: Brooke, the red sox are a baseball team. In Boston.
Brooke: Oh, Whoops. [Brooke smiles embarrassed.]
Lucas: It’s okay, I can’t wait to go with you. [They Kiss.] Now that leaves you, Pretty girl. Are you ready for your gift?
Brooke: Yes, please!
Lucas: Okay, come with me. [They take each other’s hands and walk out into the backyard, the rest of the gang trailing behind. When they make it out, a little white pony is standing by the pool (Don’t tell me you didn’t see that one coming!). Brooke gasps.]
Brooke: Awww, Luke! I’m speechless!
Lucas: You wanted it since you were seven. I think you’ve earned your pony.
Brooke: Aww thank you so much, Lucas. She’s beautiful! I feel awful I didn’t get you anything this... extravagant.
Lucas: Don’t be silly, Brooke. [He gets down on one knee and pulls out a ring. Brooke’s eyes practically bug out of her head.] All I want for Christmas, is you.
(Okay you can guess the end of the story. Obviously she says yes... who wouldn’t?! And than they live happily ever after with their pony. Aww... if only Mark wrote cuteness like this!!! Anyways I’m really hoping I win. So yeah... that’s all. :D:D Hope you like it!)
