jemgrl323 Wow, I'm amazed that she would actually say that. I hate that she acts so anti-BL but I've known that for a while. I mean in all the season 6 interviews she always would act surprise when people thought Lucas would choose Brooke and not Peyton. Sure she can quote Brooke in the later seasons after Brooke is all "Go Leyton"- but does she remember all the Brooke quotes in the first few seasons when Brooke was completely in love with Lucas? The thing that bothers me the most about what she said is not her stating her opinion on BL... even though that does bother me... it's that she acts like she knows Brooke better than anyone cause she portrays her character. She may give Brooke Davis a face-- but that doesn't mean she knows her character better than fans. I'm sure she feels the most connected to Brooke- she needs to if she wants to play the role well--- but us fans have watched each of her scenes fifty million times and whether Sophia Bush portrayed Brooke the way she wanted to or not--- we know what the end result was; we know what Brooke was feeling because we see it. Maybe she meant to make it look like she didn't love Lucas... but then she messed up because she portrayed Brooke in a way in which we saw a girl head over heels in love with her boyfriend. The only thing I will say I feel bad about, and I can understand where Sophia is coming from is when she says that she put her heart and soul into playing Brooke and it upsets her when people challenge her motivations for her job. I don't know Sophia, I don't know CMM, and I don't know Austin-- and I certainly don't know any of their relationships. So I guess it's unfair that I (as well as many other fans) assumed she felt this way because CMM hurt Sophia so she takes it out on Lucas. But in reality all I know about their life is what the tabloids want me to know... which really means I know nothing that's real and everything that's fake and superficial. I can't judge her personal life because I don't know her personally... so I guess it's really unfair to challenge her motivations for her job when I know absolutely nothing about her (since I think we all know everything we "know" about celebrities is all made up). So Sophia Bush has a point when she says people can't tell her how she should feel or what she should be doing... BUT she does NOT have a point when she says what Brooke should feel and what Brooke should be doing. Sophia knows herself better than anyone and she is the only one who can tell us what she is thinking... but she does NOT know Brooke better than anyone else and she is NOT the only one who can tell us what Brooke is thinking. Sophia, you are NOT Brooke. Defend yourself- fine. But don't pretend you know Brooke b/c you are Brooke.
