    Cal pulled up in the back of Gillian’s house and turned the car lights off. His heart was beating fast. He hadn’t felt this terrified since the night that Claire was killed. He killed the lights and grabbed a baseball bat out of the backseat of the car. He closed the car door gently behind him and walked up slowly to the back door of her house. He put his ear to the door and when heard nothing, he reached underneath the doormat and grabbed the spare key. He opened the door slowly and walked in.

Cal rubbed his eyes and walked out of the conference room. The 2-hour long meeting that had started at 7am, just ended, and Cal was incredibly bored. He had a nagging thought in his head, and he couldn’t shake it. Did he leave the coffee-machine on? Cal walked to his office and sat down in his favorite chair. He didn’t think so, but a little voice in the back of his head told him so. He didn’t want to come back home that night and have his house burned down, so Cal picked up his phone. He dialed Gillian’s number. It picked up on the second ring.
