We traveled so fast, I couldn't even think straight! When we reached to Half-Blood Hill, I almost forgot who I was!
My brain slowy started to function properly again.
"Where are we?" I asked Percy.
"Half-Blood Hill." Percy answered.
"Okay, now tell me the location!" I told him.
"Long Island." He answered.
My mouth fell open. It only took, like, seconds to get here, from New Jersey to Long Island!
"But, we got here so fast!" I cried.
"Transportation is easy if you have a Hellhound." he mentioned.
I glanced at the dog, he looked exhausted as he rested against a bunch of trees.
Percy gestured me to follow him, and so I did.
As we got down the hill, I began to see the Camp.
It was really huge! It had a Volleyball court(yes!), an Arena, a big foutain, everything!
There were also some cabins scattered around, but the main cabins that caught my attention was the ones that formed a "U" shape.
Then I noticed that those cabins aren't your regular Summer Camp cabins, those cabins were made of metal, some made of vines and vegetables, and others made out of pure gold! Only one cabin looked like an ordinary Summer Camp cabin.
"What kind of cabins are those?" I asked Percy.
"These cabins represent the Tweleve Olympians." Percy explained.
"Tweleve Olympians?!" I cried. "Like, Zeus, Hera, Posideon?"
"Yep." Percy agreed.
So, physco boy was right after all! The Greek Gods were real, or, are!
"Then, who's my Godly parent?" I asked him.
"I don't know, but you should be claimed some time soon." Percy explained.
Great, right when I finally had some hopes that I wasn't going to be an orphan anymore, I have to wait and see if my Pop's gonna claim me or not!
"Great." I mumbled.
Percy smiled at me direction. "Don't worry, you'll like this place!"
I smiled back at him.
Just then, this blond girl with a tan skin ran towards Percy and gave him a big ol' kiss on the lips. Her face shined with happiness, until she saw me...
"Who is she?" the girl asked.
"This is Amelia, she's the new demigod." Percy explained. "Amelia, this is Annabeth Chase, my girlfriend."
So that explains it.
"Hey!" I greeted as I streched out my hand.
Annabeth gave me the old "elevator look", then shook my hand.
"Nice to meet you." she said. "Just don't get any ideas."
And with that, she dragged Percy away from me and left.
What a bitch! I thought to myself.
But I was use to it. Believe me, I've faced much worse gals than this chick!
"Don't worry about her, she's just protecting what's hers." said a voice to my right.
I turned around and saw a huge, funny looking, guy! From the waist up, he looked like a middle aged man with curly hair and a short, trimmed, beard; but from the waist down, it was a white stallion.
All I managed was to let out a "huh?"
The horse man chuckled.
"My name is Chrion." he introduced himself. "And yes, I'm a centaur."
"Wait, a centuar? As in, half man half horse?" I asked him.
"That's correct!" he exclaimed.
"Man, this place gets weirder, and weider!" I spoke to myself.
Chiron chuckled some more. "Don't worry, you'll get use to it."
"Say, uh, Chiron," I began. "What's with that girl? That Annabeth chick? Is she always like this?"
"No, not always." Chiron answered. "But you should give her a chance, she had a tough past."
A tough past, huh? Pfft, we'll see about that.
Chiron and I walked towards the camp, and I couldn't help but be amazed at all the demigods here, and especially the weird looking creatures! Heck, there were even more of those half man half goat people like Elena!
I saw Percy again, he was with a bunch of young kids holding sowrds and shields, he looked like he was teaching them how to fight with those weapons.
Is that even legal?
But then that Annabeth girl came, and wrapped her arms around his waist and glared at me.
I clenched my fists.
"That girl's asking for a fight." I mumbled.
"Relax, Amelia." Chiron scolded. "Here, let me show you around."
Chiron allowed me to ride on his back, and gave me a VIP tour around the camp!
He showed me everything, from the cabins to the big pine tree on the hills. He told me the story of that pine tree, how a girl named Thalia Grace was in that tree, but then got out of it with some magic fleece; he told me that she was the daughter of Zeus, God of the Skies.
"Where is she?" I asked him.
"She's with the Hunters of Artemis." he explained.
"What's that?" I asked him again.
"It's where girls are allowed to follow Artemis on adventures and are given immortality." Chrion explained.
"Sweet!" I exclaimed.
"However, you must swear off any contact with males." he added.
"Damn it." I muttered.
Chiron laughed.
"But does she still visit? I mean, does she still care for her father?" I asked him.
There was a long pause.
"The hunters do visit, very rarely, but they do visit." Chiron finally answered.
Man, if joining the Hunters means to never have a guy in your life or never see your parents ever again, then I don't wanna join!
The sound of a horn echoed through out the whole camp.
"That the signal for dinner." Chiron told me. "Well, this ends the tour. Hope you have a good time!"
I got off of Chiron's back, and he showed me the dining area.
****
The Hermes cabin invited me to eat at their table; figures since their dad is God of Travelers.
They were very friendly, but also very sneaky.
Then again, their dad is also God of Theives.
"Hi, I'm Connor!" Connor greeted.
"Hey." I greeted back.
"You know who your Godly parent is?" he asked me.
"No." I answered.
"Oh...don't worry, you'll get claimed!" he assured me.
I smiled at him.
Just then, a guy that looked identical to him came to the table, and set his plate down.
"Sup!" he greeted. "I'm Travis!"
"Sup." I greeted back. "I see you guys are twins."
"Yeah!" Travis and Connor answered.
"Don't forget to offer a piece of your food for the Gods!" Connor warned. "The Gods love the smell of food."
"Okay..." I said.
I got up from the table and went to get my food, later I threw a piece onto a huge hearth.
A girl bumped into me. It was Annabeth.
"Oops. I'm sorry!" she apologized.
I just stayed quiet.
"Listen, sorry about what happened earlier." she began. "I didn't knew that Percy was searching for a new demigod, and I didn't knew it would be a girl."
"Look, I understand that he's your man and all, but nothing happened between us, nor will happen." I told her.
"I'm glad that we understand each other. Let's start over!" she smiled. "Hi, I'm Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena, what's your name?"
I just stared at her. What does she thinks this is? A play?
"Amelia." I mumbled.
"Great! I hope we can be friends, and I hope you'll like it here at Camp Half-Blood!" she squeaked, and walked off.
I just walked back to the Hermes table.
Just then, the whole camp gasped and stared at me as if I was some kind of scary ghost.
"What?" I asked.
"Oh gosh!" whispered a camper.
"It can't be!" gasped another.
"Is this some kind of joke?" cried another camper.
"Okay, what's going on?" I demanded.
I soon noticed that they were actually staring at something above me. I looked up.
I bright thunderbolt hovered above me. I moved to the side, but it followed.
"What the?!" I squeaked.
Chiron broke through the crowed and stared at the thunderbolt hovering about me.
"Chiron, what's going on?" I asked him.
"Amelia," he began. "You got claimed!"
"Claimed? By who--"
"All hail Amelia Johnson, daughter of Zeus, God of the Skies, King of the Gods!" Chiron announced.
Soon, everyone bowed before me, even Annabeth.
First I was treated like an ordinary demigod, now I'm being treated like a Princess?
WHAT THE HELL?!!
My brain slowy started to function properly again.
