Arron’s P.O.V

Cool I thought as Mr. Boone told us where we were to go. I walked beside Destiny and Colby. The girls were talking away, I walked in my room first and seen this last person I wanted to see. I’m a happy person most of the time, but this one person I’ve known for less then 20 minutes, has made it to my ‘I hate with a passion’ list.
“oh hey, I remember you, you’re the dude that was with the two hot chicks” he looked me up and down.
“There my best friends, yeah” His smile got a bit wider.
“So their not your girls, sweet” No. He doesn’t have a chance, Colby would probably make a shadow rope and choke him, or tie him to a chair, as Destiny shocks the living Hades out of him.
“Speaking of that, I got to go…. Uh…. Got to go see them” he grinned.
“Well ok then” I walked quickly out of that room. I was afraid that the smoke alarm was about to go crazy. Or my cloths would catch on fire. I didn’t walk trough joint doors because I didn’t won’t Creeps knowing about them being so close. I knocked on the door.
“Hold on” I heard to lock jiggle and then, me leaning against the door trying to cool of and calm down before Colby had another worry fit. So when the door opened to quickly, fell in and landed on something hard. I looked under me and seen Destiny. She was glaring at me and her Blue eye had sparks flying in them. Just as I was about to get up, she noticed something.
“Why were you leaning against my door, and two why are you so hot” This girl is always calling me hot.
“Well I was trying to cool down so I just leaned on your door, then I fell on you. I’m mad because I’m in the same room with the dude who you shocked earlier, and he keeps Talking about you and Colby like you’re toys”
She looked shocked, But that’s the only way to get her to pause, to shock her. And since ‘Shocking’ her doesn’t work, quick things do, that’s why I kissed her cheek the other day. I’d rather kiss her then get a few hundred volts sent through me.
“O…K” as if the world wanted to get just little bit more awkward. Colby walked in with two sodas. I didn’t know why she was looking so amused the I looked down. I was laying on top of Destiny, her face level with mine, she had her hands on my back where she tried to save her self from falling, and Colby had to faces past her. One, What in Hades. Two, Did I miss something. Three, hahaha.
“Um… I’m guessing I interrupted something, or Destiny was about to fry you” I resisted the urge of looking down to see if Destiny was about to kill me. I rolled off her and got back up, I offred her a hand but she didn’t take it, she got up herself and started talking to Colby. I just went to there bathroom and washed my face, which had cooled down, but was better now. When I walked out Destiny and Colby was giggling about something.
“WHy didn’t you come through the half door in the first place” Colby asked a minute later
“Do you want that guy knowing you his new neighbor” They both exchanged looks and shook their heads. “Alright then” I walked and flopped down on one of their beds. Destiny lied beside me.
“Why you laying with me?” I asked in a sense of curiosity
When I looked back on it I could see her messing with me, but at the moment I thought the world had just slowed down. She turned on her side, propped up on one elbow and I heard the door close, I figured Colby left. Destiny’s eyes were scanning my neck the she reached out and gently touched a small scar where she had once gotten I a little to close in sword practice and cut right under my ear. When she touched my a small shock ran through me, as in she shocked me with a spark. But I also responded, I started to warm up again this time staying at a nice warm glow. She flinched then closed her eyes. It had be a long day and we were very tried. She scooted a little closer and fall asleep.

I woke to giggling, Colby was in the room, in her hand she had a camera.
“Oh, Amelia is going to LOVE this” Oh no was my thought, Amelia a daughter of Zeus should be in Hermes cabin, she loved pranking and blackmail. She would probably make me do something threaten me with the photo or show her and Destiny’s big bro. Treston, And that would be bad.
“Please no” I got up and stepped next to Colby she tucked the camera to her side but I snatched it quickly.
“No fair” I didn’t delete them, I could blackmail too. I walked out of their room and into mine. Of course that guy asked where I was I told him I went and walked around the building. He bought it. He also told me his name was Trey. I didn’t care It was getting dark. I laid down in my bunk, I thought about camp then I had a longing feeling in my chest. I wanted someone in my arms.

Colby’s P.O.V

Well I now I know two things. One. Arron and Destiny are falling, quick. Two. There is a creepy guy living next to me. I laid down an fell asleep quickly. In my dream the weirdest thing happened, I was falling and it burned, and the next second I was a wolf. I loved wolves but this was creepy. I woke up and there was a woman in my bedroom. She had dark green eyes and black hair that fell to her lower back. She was my mother, the goddess of night, Nyx.
“M-mom?” a stuttered
She giggled a bit and smile happily, “Yes dear”
I looked her in the eye, which was either a good thing or bad, she looked back in mine for a moment before smiling more. “Not to be rude, but why are you here” I asked nicely never braking eye contact.
“because I have came to offer you a gift, a gift to rule over wolves, but not a goddess, and nothing to special just to rule over wolves there in danger and are a very loved animal of mine.”
I was shocked, a goddess, my mother, wanted me to rule over her favorite animal. I could only nod and she snapped her finger and within moments she had a wolf pup in her arms.
“Before I give you this wolf I must tell you about him. He is your protector and companion. If he senses true danger he will morph into his true from, you will be able to talk to him out loud, but lay off this because you will look really weird talking to a wolf. His life force is tied to moon and night, a gift from both Artemis and I.” She smiled then added. “He can’t shadow travel yet neither can you, but shadow bending will help him” She walked to me gracefully and started to glow “I’m watching you” I turned as the warm light flashed then disappeared.
Wow, weird. Here I was the protector of wolves. I might as well enjoy this dream, I looked at the sky New moon, yea must but a dream. “Hello?” I asked the wolf pup I could feel myself bonding with it already.
It looked confused then is spoke in a small shaky voice. “Hello Colby”
I would of dropped it if I hadn’t been sitting in my bed and it was standing beside me. “what is your name” I asked it quietly
The wolf pup dipped his head put on puppy dog eyes, which of course must have been easy.
I looked the pup in the eye and seen that it was thinking sadness in it’s eyes it thought I it care about him and wouldn’t care for it. I thought about it, “λύκος, Likos" Likos’ ears perked
He laid his head down on my lap. “Good night, I guess” He mumbled I giggled it was night, I was the master of wolves, and Destiny was still asleep. I driffeted back to sleep.
