Dagget ran through the forest as fast as his beaver legs could carry him. After making it back to the dam and shutting all of the doors tight and firm he soon explained everything to his brother. "You're insane," Norbert said while getting Dagget off of him. "There is no human beings and a tiny thing running around out there. Your mind is at play." Dagget was not easily foiled though- he knew what he saw out there and was not going to give up beleiving it. "But Norb, those people acutally looked at me with a look of pure evilness." Norbert thought he was out of his mind. "Then show me these so called "weird strangers"." He said while dragging him out by the tail. After dragging through the forest a few yards away from their home Norbert finally let go of Dagget's tail. "Okay. We're here so show me." With a look of confusion, Dagget started jumping up and down with anger. "You're nuts Norb! You can't just expect me to go out there and hunt them down. I am not a hound dog!"
"Correct me if I am wrong Daggy," Norbert responded. "You were the only beaver who saw these strangers and yet you think I am going to look for them for you? You better think again bro." Dagget was annoyed by his sarcasim that he just walked into the woods on his own. Walking through trees and large bushes, all what he could mumble to himself was "That stupid brother of mine!" After walking through the thicket a few minutes later he suddenly saw the tiny, yellow creature again- refering to Ash's Pikachu. The two froze at stared at one another for a while until Pikachu took the first approach. He jumped from the large rock and landed on the ground on both feet while walking slowly towards Dagget. "What is this thing doing?" Dagget thought to himself. Pikachu showed his right hand offering a handshake. Dagget thought this was too weird, but did it anyway. After that Pikachu smiled with joy as he made a new friend. "Ya know," Dagget said while watching Pikachu run around him. "I am beginning to like you already."
Just then, Ash came by looking for Pikachu. Upon finding him he also notcied Dagget with him. "Oh hi," Ash said with kindness. "You must be that beaver that was sleeping right? I'm really sorry if my friends and I scared you. We mean no harm." Surpised by his kind words, Dagget walked to him and said, "It is no trouble." Ash smiled as he looked closely at him. "You really are not a Pokemon are you?" Dagget scratched his head with confusion. "A Pokewhat?" Ash decided it was time to explain everything to Dag. Back with Norbert he was too busy with waiting for Dagget's return. "He is probably out there trying to play a joke on me. I better find him and play along." So Norbert began following his brother's footprints.
Ash explained everything about Pokemon to Dagget, in which he was very surprised. "So you teach these things to battle and you win cool prizes?" Dagget asked with joyness. "Sure," Ash responded. "But battling Pokemon is not just about winning. It is about having good times and fun times doing it too." With that being said, Dagget had a thought on his mind: he would pretend he would be a Pokemon for Ash's sake so maybe he could teach Norbert on how much cooler he would be rather than him. "Acutally Ash," He said while standing up. "I have a confession to make- I am really a Pokemon." With a surpise on his face as well as Pikachu's, Ash could not beleive it. "So you have powerful attacks too?" He asked. Dagget nodded. "I have the powers of any short of Pokemon you have in the world. Why, I can do super kick, super punch, and even have the ability to use my teeth at will." Ash was impressed by all of this. Brock however rushed in. "Ash, something awfull has happend." Ash, Pikachu and Dagget turned to listen to what he had to say. Misty is now missing but Brock has no idea what happend or where she is right now. "This is terrible Brock!" Dagget was in shock about this too.
