I'm taking a history course this year, and I was supposed to write an essay on the reasons for success of Christianity. Enjoy!

Today, Christianity is one of the most wide-spread religions of the world. But its history is filled with bloodshed and violence; early Christians had to endure horrific punishments for their faith. There are many stories of martyrs being stoned to death; of Christians’ bodies being used as torches to light Roman feasts; of people being crucified, sometimes upside-down, simply because they refused to renounce Jesus Christ as their saviour. In the midst of such persecution,...

worship in Brazil has grown at home days...although the evangelicals are not the majority here, we see a wonderful movement....crianças, jovens e idosos em um único propósito... adorar a DEus... sou do ministério batista tocha viva... é uma igreja pentecostal...I leave that file to see how the worship is so wonderful that this country is Brazil ....that despite having a bad image for the violence ... We can see how God is present in this country ... and always declare Brazil for Christ ......... Christ reigns in this country ... Peace to all and a hug ... add me on msn ... adorador_marcelo@hotmail.com

I was looking through this club and noticed one of the questions, the one about the "haters" and it made me start thinking, haters are just nonbelievrs! God sends us these "Haters" as an opertunity to show his grace and love! God sends these "Haters" so that they can see what it's like to be a believer. I know it can be rough and anoying to deal with them, but God said love is pacent, and he want's us to greet them with open arms insted of them coming and seeing things that make them think we hate them, because we don't, atleast, I don't, a bunch of my friends are nonbelivers. all i'm saying is, if we say we can't stand them, what sense of God are they going to get. remember, God loves the haters, and as his children we should lead by his example, yes?
