Cinders No, that's not what they are doing. Pirates are an integral part to pastafarianism, so in their mind they should be present. They are not putting anyone at gunpoint - that was just unintentional happenstance.
Pastafarianism came about in response to the Kansas School Board allowing the teaching of Intelligent Design alongside Evolution as a scientific theory. But the Pastafarian concept as a protest symbol has spread to other events protesting in the name of reason.

It was meant as a protest, a badge of freedom of expression, and the courage to state your beliefs in anything you want, no matter how absurd it may seem to others.
jennabug121 Alright but still it's the Nativity seen and there shouldn't be guns in it or Pirates. People can feel as free as they want but that doesn't mean they hav to change the HOLY nativity seen.
