Chapter Six: Getting To Know Each Other
Hawkes, Aiden, Kendall, and Adam sat on one of the couches while Flack, Jess, Mac and Stella sat on another one. Danny sat in the La-Z-Boy recliner with Lindsay in his lap and Samantha and Chad sat in two chairs in between one of the couches and the recliner which had all been sat up in a circle.
“Alright how about we just go in a circle and everyone say a little bit about yourself. Where you’re from, what’s your family like, what were you like in high school, what made you join the army… etc.” Mac said to everyone on Blue Squad.
“We’ll start with you Stella.”
“Okay my name’s Stella Bonasera as most of you know and I was born in Greece. My mother brought me to the states when I was two years old and was killed in a car accident. I’ve never met my father and pretty much grew up an orphan in the foster care system. I’m thirty-six years old, have no siblings that I know of and was kind of an outsider in high school. I went to an all girls Catholic High School and didn’t really have any friends. I swore when I was eighteen I would get out of there and see the world and never look back which is why I joined the army. I’m very proud to be a member and co-leader of Blue Squad and look forward to getting to know all of you and working with you. Oh I’m also a dancer. Well that’s pretty much me in a nutshell. If you ever need anything I can help with please don’t hesitate to ask. Alright Danny, bud it’s on you!”
“Well I’m Danny Messer. I grew up in Staten Island, New York and have one older brother named Louie. My parents are still together. I’m thirty- two and well high school I was just a normal guy I guess. I played baseball but I wasn’t a jock then I got injured and decided to put my pro-baseball dreams on hold and join the army. I’m proud to be serving my country and am honored to be a part of Blue Squad. Alright “Montana”, your turn.”
“Hey everyone. I’m Lindsay Monroe and am from Bozeman, Montana which is why Danny calls me “Montana”. I’m thirty- two also and was a quiet kind of nerdy girl in high school. I hung out with my older brother and his friends who took me hunting a lot which is where I get my knowledge of different animals and weapons from. I love Montana, but had to see what the rest of the world was like so I joined the army and here I am. You’re turn Sam.”
“I’m Samantha Flack but you can call me Sam and I’m Don’s younger sister. We have another brother also. I’m from Manhattan, New York and love to party. High school was basically just one big party for me I skipped class and pretty much stayed high or drunk. When I graduated though I didn’t know where to go next so I decided to get my shit together and followed in my older brother’s footsteps by joining the army. My dad is a cop and I just want to make him proud. I was so happy when General Sinclair told me I would be a member of Blue Squad it’s an honor and I hope to serve the team well and make everyone proud. I’m twenty-eight years old and have to say I really look up to Stella. She’s like the older sister I never had when I joined the army she had already been in for a couple of years and kind of took me under her wing. She’s the strongest person I know and will do anything to help anyone. She’s a great person and is going to be a great leader. I strive to be like her.”
“Aww Sam you’re going to make me cry. I love you sweetie and you are a very important part of the team never forget that.”
“Alright well I guess I’m next. Name’s Chad Willingham. I’m from Seattle, Washington. I was a huge grunge fan and probably saw Nirvana like twenty- three times before they got big and then about twenty more after that. I have three little sisters and my mom passed away when I was fourteen. I used to be in a grunge band called Twisted Abandon when I was a teenager and in my early twenties. It was mostly a cover band but we did record about thirty of our own tracks I played the electric guitar and was the back-up vocalist. I’m twenty-eight now and joined the army a year ago. I’m glad to be a member of Blue Squad and just hope I don’t let anyone down. I pass the baton to Mr. Sheldon Hawkes.”
“I’m Sheldon Hawkes and I hail from Atlanta, Georgia. I had a sister named Maya who passed away a few years ago. I was a straight-a student in high school and guess you could say I was a bit of a nerd. After high school I went to college and then decided to join the army. I’m now thirty-six years old and hope to bring something special to the team. You’re next Aiden.”
“I’m Aiden Burn my mother passed away when I was young too and my father raised me and three brothers. I wasn’t particularly popular or an outcast in high school I just kind of hung out with everyone. I’m thirty years old, from Brooklyn, New York, and joined the army to get away from a bad neighborhood and some bad people also to serve my country. I’m glad to be a member of Blue Squad and to serve with all you awesome people. Alright Adam take it away.”
“I’m Adam Ross. I’m twenty-six and am originally from Phoenix, Arizona. I was your typical high school computer geek. I have an abusive alcoholic father who is the main reason for me joining the army. I will never be a victim to domestic abuse again. I’m glad to be here and it’s all yours Kendall.”
“I’m Kendall Novak; I’m twenty-six years old, and from Orlando, Florida. I was a total stoner in high school and went to rehab twice before the age of eighteen but I turned my life around and got my head on straight. I joined the army because I wanted to make a difference. I have an older brother and a younger sister. I’m also very glad to be a member of Blue Squad. Now it goes to you Don.”
“I’m Don Flack Jr. my father is a cop and mother is a teacher. Like Sam said earlier I’m her older brother and am very protective of her. I’m very proud of Sam and am glad to get to serve with her. I’m thirty-two years old. In high school I was the popular kid but I made good grades and played sports as well. I wasn’t a jerk though I had several friends in different cliques. I joined the army to serve and protect and to see the world. I’m very glad to be in Blue Squad. Alright Jess.”
“I’m Jessica Angell. I’m thirty- two years old and am from Boston, Massachusetts. I have four older brothers and my parents are still married. My dad is cop and my mother is a paralegal. I was pretty popular in high school and spent all my free time playing softball. I love being in the army and am glad to be on Blue Squad. Alright last but not least Big Mac, our fearless leader!”
“Heh thanks Jess, don’t know about the fearless part but I’ll try. Okay I’m Mac Taylor and was chosen to be the leader of Blue Squad by General Sinclair. My father passed away a few years ago from lung cancer and my mother is still alive. My father was a marine and encouraged me to join some branch of the military so I chose the army. I’m thirty-eight years old and very honored to be your leader. I hope I do you justice. In high school I was popular enough but a bit of a loner which I still am today. I’m a very private person and can be very shy at times as well. I also play an instrument Chad you’re a lead guitarist I play the bass now all we need is a drummer and we’re all set. I have the most amazing girlfriend in the world and I wouldn’t be half the man I am today if it weren’t for her. She is my best friend and my second in command of Blue Squad. Stella, baby, you’re amazing and mean everything to me. I wouldn’t be able to do this without you.”
“Uh oh my God. Wow y’all really know how to make a girl feel good. Okay how about we play truth or dare now? I’ll start. Samantha, truth or dare?”
“Oh dare baby you know me.”
“Okay. I dare you to give Chad a lap dance.” Stella said with an evil grin on her face.
“Okay.” Sam said as she turned the radio on and began to dance in front of Chad.
Don covered his eyes.
“I refuse to watch this. Stella I should hurt you.”
“Dude, your sister’s hott!”
“Watch it buddy.”
A few minutes later the song ended and Sam sat back down.
“Okay well that was fun, Danny truth or dare?”
“After that, you women are evil… truth!”
“Okay how old were you when you stopped wetting the bed?”
“Only confirming my previous statement. I was three and that’s the God honest truth.”
“Adam truth or dare?”
“I hate this game… truth.”
“What age did you lose your virginity?”
The whole group got quiet and stared at Adam.
“Damn. Well sorry to bust your bubble Danny but I was fifteen. To my neighbor she was hott too.”
“Jessica truth or dare?”
“Well sorry guys but I’m boring compared to Miss Samantha. Truth.”
“Okay have you ever used a men’s bathroom?”
“Yes I have. You guy’s are disgusting!”
Everyone started to laugh.
“Aiden truth or dare?”
“Ohhh truth.”
“Have you ever kissed someone of the same sex?”
Again everyone went silent and stared at Aiden waiting in response.
“So not funny Jess but yes I have more than once guys and it was so hott too.”
Every man just stared at Aiden and Stella buried her head in Mac’s shoulder because she was laughing so hard.
“Okay Bonasera it wasn’t that funny, truth or dare?”
“I’m sorry Aiden but after that… dare.”
Aiden grinned at Stella with a very evil glimmer in her eyes.
“I’m going to regret this aren’t I?”
“I love you Stel but I dare you to make out with Mac right here in front of everyone and make it good too.”
Mac blushed ten shades of red while Stella just glared at Aiden who was sitting there with a big grin on her face knowing that Mac hated to show any sign of affection or emotion in front of people and thought this was a perfect idea to loosen him up a little.
“Oh what the hell?”
Stella gently kissed Mac on the lips for a few seconds and then crawled onto his lap and straddled him. She grabbed his arms and wrapped them around her waist as she wrapped her arms around his neck. He wrapped his fingers in her hair and they continued kissing for the next few minutes. Sheldon looked down at his watch and started to time them on how long they had been kissing. Then everyone heard Stella start moaning and Danny looked at Lindsay.
“You so have to pick dare!”
After a couple more minutes Stella finally rolled off of Mac who was breathing heavily and just looked deep into his eyes.
“Now that was hott!” Aiden said.
“I’m going to get you back for that Burn.”
“Oh don’t act like you didn’t enjoy it!”
“Hawkes truth or dare?”
“Oh why me you ladies are brutal. Truth.”
“Aw you’re no fun. Okay have you ever streaked or stripped before?”
“Yes I have and I’m not ashamed to admit. I was a lot younger when I did it but I chose truth Stella so don’t get any ideas!”
Stella frowned at Hawkes.
“Okay Kendall truth or dare?”
“Well I’m not as brave as Sam and Stella so truth!”
“Is Adam any good in bed?”
Adam’s jaw dropped and he just glared at Hawkes with an “I will kill you in your sleep look”.
“Well actually Sheldon, yes he is very good.”
Adam’s face turned beet red and he squirmed uncomfortably in his chair. Mac looked at Stella.
“I’m learning more about my team tonight than I would have cared to have known.”
Stella just laughed at Mac and listened as Kendall chose her victim.
“Chad truth or dare?”
“I’ll be brave, dare.”
“I dare you to strip and spend the remainder of the game in only your underwear.”
“That’s the best you can do? Okay no problem. I’m not ashamed.”
Chad stripped down to only his underwear and sat back down for the rest of the game.
“Flack truth or dare?”
“Truth!”
“Well that was a quick answer alright buddy have you ever been “spanked”?”
“You know Chad somehow you asking me that while sitting there all proud in just your tightey whitey’s makes me really not want to answer.”
“Oh come on Flack just answer the question. Don’t be scared.”
“Alright wise guy then yes I have.”
Mac looked at Stella.
“This is all your fault I now have mental images of several of our squad members that I really wish I didn’t.”
Stella smiled at Mac and started laughing.
“Oh come on Mac you have to admit this is kind of fun.”
“Okay Lindsay truth or dare?”
“Hmmm truth.”
“Oh come on Montana I told you to go with dare.”
“Sorry Danny.”
“Alright so have you ever used whips and chains in bed with Danny? Maybe some handcuffs?”
“Wow Flack you’re subtle and no I haven’t… not yet.”
“Okay don’t worry Danny you’re day will come.”
“So Mac truth or dare?”
“Well looking at Chad there I have to go with truth.”
“Have you ever been in love?”
Mac looked at Stella and put his arms around her.
“Well yeah Lindsay as a matter of fact I have and am.”
Stella smiled at Mac and kissed him on the lips.
“Alright everyone it’s getting late and we should be getting to bed it was nice getting to know everyone and… then some but let’s turn in for tonight.” Don told the group.
“Wait for me outside there’s something I want to do.”
Mac told Stella and then went into his room and got a couple of blankets, a pillow, and a flashlight. Stella stood outside the barracks waiting for Mac. He walked out with the stuff and told her to follow him.
“Mac where are you taking me and what’s with the blankets and pillow?”
“Just come on you’re going to love it.”
They walked off in the woods and came to a clearing not too far from the base. Mac spread one of the blankets out on the ground and sat down pulling Stella onto his lap. They had a perfect view of the starry night sky.
“Mac this is beautiful thanks for bringing me here.”
“I like to come here when I need to think or clear my head no one else knows where it is or that I come here. It’s my special place and now it’s our special place. I wanted to share it with you.”
“Well it’s great, thank you. The view is beautiful.”
“From where I am it definitely is.” Mac said while looking down at Stella.
After a few minutes they were both lying down on the blanket Stella was curled up against Mac with her head on his chest and his arms wrapped around her. Stella then started kissing him and crawled on top of him.
“This is very romantic Mac it’s nice to see this side of you.”
She continued to kiss Mac and wound up on her back pulling him on top of her. She then pulled his shirt off and held his dog tags in her hand against his chest.
“Stella we’ve been together for about four months now and haven’t gone all the way yet. Are you sure you’re ready?”
“Mac we’re both in love with each other why don’t we show it? Make love to me Mac.”
“Okay.”
Mac started kissing her neck and slowly removed her shirt and bra followed by her skirt and thong. Then he began making love to her. After a few minutes he lay on his back beside Stella and held her in his arms against his chest.
“Mac, that was… incredible. No man has ever made me feel like that. It’s like you were in my head and knew what I wanted and how I wanted it you’re amazing.”
“You are too Stella I’m glad this happened and we should do it again sometime.”
“I love you Mac Taylor.”
“I love you too Stella Bonasera.”
They fell asleep wrapped in a blanket under the stars.

“Wait for me outside there’s something I want to do.”

They walked off in the woods and came to a clearing not too far from the base. Mac spread one of the blankets out on the ground and sat down pulling Stella onto his lap. They had a perfect view of the starry night sky.
“Mac this is beautiful thanks for bringing me here.”
“I like to come here when I need to think or clear my head no one else knows where it is or that I come here. It’s my special place and now it’s our special place. I wanted to share it with you.”
“Well it’s great, thank you. The view is beautiful.”
“From where I am it definitely is.” Mac said while looking down at Stella.
After a few minutes they were both lying down on the blanket Stella was curled up against Mac with her head on his chest and his arms wrapped around her. Stella then started kissing him and crawled on top of him.
“This is very romantic Mac it’s nice to see this side of you.”
She continued to kiss Mac and wound up on her back pulling him on top of her. She then pulled his shirt off and held his dog tags in her hand against his chest.
“Stella we’ve been together for about four months now and haven’t gone all the way yet. Are you sure you’re ready?”
“Mac we’re both in love with each other why don’t we show it? Make love to me Mac.”
“Okay.”
Mac started kissing her neck and slowly removed her shirt and bra followed by her skirt and thong. Then he began making love to her. After a few minutes he lay on his back beside Stella and held her in his arms against his chest.
“Mac, that was… incredible. No man has ever made me feel like that. It’s like you were in my head and knew what I wanted and how I wanted it you’re amazing.”
“You are too Stella I’m glad this happened and we should do it again sometime.”
“I love you Mac Taylor.”
“I love you too Stella Bonasera.”
They fell asleep wrapped in a blanket under the stars.
