If you have read the TVD novels, you would know that Damon Salvatore and Bonnie McCullough share a deep and meaningful connection. In fact some readers of this series have even found their connection highly unusual and unlike anything that they have evr read. Most people like to constantly question, "What is going on between Damon and Bonnie?" or "Their connection is interesting and unique." A lot of TVD readers seem to show a huge interest and fascination with the Bamon connection and truthfully, I can see why. To me, Bamon's connection in the books is the most interesting, intriguing and fascinating connection in the TVD novel series. Some people, including myself, as even described the Bamon connection in the books "highly unusual" and most people have a hard time identifying the Bamon connection. I have read somewhere that the Bamon connection is an interesting and intriguing combination of platonic/sexual/romantic and that the connection between Damon and Bonnie is electrifying, intense, magnetic, powerful and deep, but at the same time, tender, loving, nurturing, soft, innocent, and pure. There is a strange and odd "sexual magnetism" between Damon and Bonnie in the books, a sexual magnetism between them that I can't even seem to comprehend or describe in words. Because for the most part, Bamon's connection is indescribable. When you think about it, there are times when Bamon's connection in the books simply cannot be described in phrases and words. That is how highly fascinating, interesting and unusual their connection is. Although the initial thought of Bamon's connection in the book is to be romantic, to me, that is not what defines their relationship/connection entirely. I can honestly say that without a doubt and I am in serious confession mode right now, that Damon and Bonnie have the most indescribable and unique connection that I have ever seen or read ever. And I say that with total and ultimate honesty.

I have never read a connection as interesting, fascinating and remotely complex as Damon and Bonnie's. And this leads me to start to express the whole point of this article. I know that there are many skeptics out there who don't have certain beliefs in some things and some aspects of life, but then again, this is just my opinion and I can't make anyone share my views, beliefs or opinions on a certain matter. I can only hope that people will be open-minded enough to understand and also, accept my beliefs and personal views on something. And if they choose to not have an open mind in regards to my opinions and what I have to say, then there is no point in reading my opinions. But nonetheless, the main point of this article is for me to express what i really think about Book Bamon's connection. When it comes right down to it, I really do believe that Damon and Bonnie in the novels are star-crossed. Now, I know and I am sure that many of you, perhaps all of you have heard this term before and have heard this term thrown around a few times, especially in regards to TV couples or couples in films and literature (most famously Romeo & Juliet). But the issue is that most people don't really understand or don't even know the true meaning and definition of "star-crossed". The term star-crossed has various different meanings. Most people think that if one labels a couple/pairing "star-crossed", then it's going to ultimately end in tragedy. This is NOT always the case. There are star-crossed pairings who do end up together and they end up together happily and don't face any tragedy in the end. The reason why most people label star-crossed lovers as a "tragedy" or a tragic love story is because many star-crossed pairings do end in heartbreak and tragedy. Also, many star-crossed lovers tend to face many obstacles and outside forces that are trying to keep them apart. Two people who are in a star-crossed dynamic, can love and care about each other so passionately, so immensely, so deeply, yet something is holding one or the both of them back from being together. The outside forces or obstacles could be absolutely anything that keep star-crossed pairings apart: family, friends, marriage, the person you're in love with being in love with someone else, love triangles, age difference, different backgrounds, different social status, differences in personality, death, etc the list goes on. There are many different outside forces and obstacles that often keep star-crossed couples from being together or getting together. Here is the definition of star-crossed according to Wikipedia:

""Star-crossed" or "star-crossed lovers" is a phrase describing a pair of lovers who love each other deeply and passionately but whose relationship is often thwarted by outside forces and obstacles. The term encompasses many other meanings. It also refers to destiny, fate and the inevitability of the two characters' paths crossing each other and falling deeply and in most cases, instantly in love. Many and most star-crossed pairings experience a "love at first sight" connection. It usually but not always refers to unlucky outcomes, since Romeo and Juliet's affair ended tragically. Further, it connotes that the lovers entered into their union without sufficient forethought or preparation; that the lovers may not have had adequate knowledge of each other or that they were not thinking rationally. Star-crossed pairings/couples can either be destined soul mates or not, but more often then not, they are usually twin flame/twin soul pairings.

So overall, the term star-crossed could also refer to fate, destiny or the inevitability of two individuals crossing paths with each other and feeling a deep, and immediate connection with one another upon meeting. Most star-crossed pairings also tend to meet in highly unusual circumstances surround their meeting and their meeting is normally a memorable one and also a deep and intense one. Most star-crossed couples also meet in an unexpected way, when they are least expecting to meet someone. This, to me, defines what Damon and Bonnie are in the novels. If you have read "After Hours", a short story written by L.J. Smith about Damon and Bonnie's first meeting, then you would realize that this is exactly what Damon/Bonnie's first meeting was like. Damon and Bonnie meet in an unusual and unexpected way, but not only that, they feel immediately drawn to one another. This is extremely rare kind of meeting, as if it was some kind of meeting forced by destiny or fate. Whatever it was, and we don't really know the depth and the truth of what really happened inn the short story, because it really hasn't been elaborated on, something 'powerful' brought Damon and Bonnie together and it was both out of their control. No two people just "meet" each other in such an unusual and unexpected circumstance and situation and then not be labelled "star-crossed" afterwards. It's just impossible to not see Damon and Bonnie otherwise. And I strongly believe that this was L.J. Smith's original intention when she wrote that short story, to prove to readers that not only was Bonnie Damon's humanity, but that they share a deep meaningful connection and also, that they are fated/star-crossed. Otherwise, why on earth would she write it and implement such a meeting and such a connection between Damon and Bonnie in the first place if this wasn't her actual and original intention? But it's not just Damon and Bonnie's very first meeting in After Hours that makes them "star-crossed" IMO. It's their relationship, their dynamic and their connection with one another. Damon and Bonnie, for the most part, have a rather chaotic and tumultuous relationship/connection in the books. Their relationship has not been all smooth-sailing and easy going. And it has nothing to do with Damon and Bonnie, the individuals within the dynamic, although they are only part of the reason for me labelling them star-crossed. To me, the reason why I see Damon and Bonnie as star-crossed in the books is because of THE VARIOUS OUTSIDE FORCES, THE MANY OBSTACLES AND THE CIRCUMSTANCES SURROUNDING THEM. Damon and Bonnie deeply and strongly care about each other and they have such a deep, meaningful and intense bond, yet, something is stopping them from getting together because of certain obstacles and situations. One of the obstacles is Elena Gilbert.

Elena Gilbert is part of the reason that Damon/Bonnie are "star-crossed". Elena is an obstacle standing in the way of Damon and Bonnie getting closer and developing their real love for each other. This is because Elena knows deep down within her heart and soul that she loves Stefan and that it will always be Stefan, but Elena feels a deep attraction, more like an obsession with Damon. And because of Elena's attraction to Damon in which Bonnie has always known about, Bonnie has had to conceal her feelings for Damon this whole entire time, while Elena fawns over Damon and Damon does the same thing in return. Elena has feelings for Damon and because Elena is Bonnie's best friend, it's ultimately stopping Bonnie from expressing these strong and deep feelings that she has for Damon. So, due to the circumstances regarding the fact of whether to choose her best friend who she loves or the one guy she loves more then anything unconditionally and selflessly no matter what, Bonnie has found herself in a rut. Because she doesn't want to hurt her best friend, because she knows that Elena has some sort of feelings for Damon. And if Bonnie expressed the feelings that she has for Damon to Elena, she would feel like she is betraying her best friend, which is why Bonnie kept her deep feelings for Damon a secret. Deep down, Bonnie is just dying and yearning to let all these feelings and all of her emotions regarding Damon/Elena and Damon all pour out, but she can't. And this is why when it comes right down to it, the person I feel the most sorry for in all this is Bonnie. She's ultimately torn between two people she would do basically anything for, although one is her best friend and the other is the one person she loves more then anything and anyone on the Earth. Bonnie loves Damon so much, unconditionally and selflessly, that because she knows that Damon "loves" Elena and that he has feelings for her, she kept her feelings buried deep inside of her and for Bonnie, it has been excruciatingly painful. But the story hasn't really overly displayed that in enormous detail. But I can literally feel Bonnie's pain when she talks about Damon/Elena, or Damon. Or simply when she talks to her own best friend, Elena, she feels uncomfortable because of how she feels deep within her heart and soul. Bonnie feels stifled. And I think that is part of the reason why Bonnie has been so incredibly emotional throughout The Return trilogy, because I think The Return trilogy was when Bonnie's feelings for Damon really came to a head.

I strongly believe that Bonnie fell in love with Damon at first sight in "After Hours". It was so obvious that she was deeply in love with him the way that she was interacting with him. The way she was communicating with him, acting towards him and around him, even when he revealed to her that he was a centuries old vampire/hunter/killer and a beast who could ultimately kill her, harm her or take advantage of her against her will. Bonnie never moved, she never flinched. She stayed by Damon's side and she even rested her head on his shoulder, as if she had known Damon forever. And Damon didn't seem to mind being so intimate with Bonnie during their first meeting. Damon was so incredibly loving, affectionate and tender towards her, it was shocking. I thought I was reading the real and true Damon on the inside, the Damon that had been deeply buried for over 5 centuries. I thought I was literally reading "Human Damon". A part of me felt like while I was reading Damon and Bonnie's first meeting in "After Hours", that I was reading a little human boy who instantly and deeply fell in love with a girl and just knew that she was his light, she was his angel and that he would do anything to protect her, even though on the outside, Damon seemed to have done everything in his power to cover it up. The tenderness that Damon felt for Bonnie in "After Hours" so immediately was....intriguing and fascinating. He was so incredibly and effortlessly.....human. And this is probably one of the major reasons why I'm such a passionate Bamon shipper. Because their connection is so weird and unusual but in a good way. Book Bamon's connection; it's not an easy relationship or dynamic to be compared to anything else. And this is what makes Book Bamon so incredibly fascinating. But in regards to what I was saying about Bonnie feeling ultimately torn between her best friend (Elena) and the guy she deeply loves more then anything (Damon), she feels guilt and because of the guilt, she feels immense sorrow. Because she feels like because of Elena, and the feelings that Damon has for her, Bonnie ultimately feels inadequate, like she's not worthy of Damon, his love; that he will never really love her back or love her/treat her the same way that he treats Elena. This was extremely evident in After Hours, when Bonnie consistently kept comparing herself to her own BFF in the world. It made Bonnie come off as insecure and unsure about herself and because of Damon, this has caused Bonnie to really search inside of herself and go through her own personal spiritual evolvement in this series. Damon coming into Bonnie's life has ultimately made Bonnie forced to grow up and mature and deepen as a person. And Bonnie unexpectedly coming into Damon's life has forced Damon to look deep, deep within himself and show kindness, warmth and compassion for other people other then himself. So both Damon and Bonnie due to coming into each other's lives, have really sparked a spiritual journey and evolution for one another. And the spiritual evolvements and journeys in which both Damon and Bonnie are going through (at the same pace, might I add) have been extremely and incredibly painful and life-changing. Bonnie's life has never been the same since she met Damon. When Bonnie met Damon, her life changed forever. Not only was she forced to mature and grow up and deepen as an individual, but she was also forced into embracing the full depth of her individuality, which is the fact that she is a strong and powerful psychic with strong and powerful powers and abilities. When Bonnie first starts out in the series, she doesn't have these powers and abilities and they are not this powerful and strong. In fact, she would faint constantly and she would become unconscious frequently. Now, she's so incredibly strong and powerful (the most powerful character in the novels after Damon IMO, now that Elena's angelic powers are gone) and the main reason for her strength is Damon. Damon has forced her (subconsciously and effortlessly) to grow up, mature and also test her real inner strength as a person. Damon is Bonnie's spiritual evolvement. The same way that Bonnie is Damon's spiritual evolvement. And also, meeting Bonnie changed Damon's life immensely and deeply. This is not just any person coming in and out of Damon's life to teach some lesson. No. Damon meeting Bonnie was a special union, a special meeting for Damon. Damon has encountered many different people throughout his 5 centuries of being an immortal and all of those people were basically helping Damon to evolve and grow somehow. But meeting Bonnie was a life changing experience for Damon. And because of it, Damon will ultimately never be the same individual he was before he met Bonnie. He will never be the same man again. He's forever changed, he's forever going to be different then who he was. And it's really showing now in the novel series. Damon Salvatore is not the same individual he was before the novel series began. I know this, because we as the readers, were given plenty of insight as to who Damon was as an individual before coming to Fells Church. He had an incredibly violent and dark, sinister past, which included the slaughtering of MANY humans. Damon owned a mercenary company. That is no joke and that involves extreme violence and chaos. Or how about in his human life? Damon was a womanizer and never knew what real, true love was. What compassion was, what caring was, what empathy was. He never knew what it was to feel. And not only was this apparent in his human life but it also transcended into his immortal life as well. Damon Salvatore is and always has been a dark soul, basically a sociopath who felt no empathy for people, even in his human life. This is because for all of his entire existence, including his human life of 20+ years, plus his immortal life of 500+ years (5 centuries), nobody could break the sturdy chains and crumble that solid 'Great Stone', which was encased around his deeply dark soul. Nobody could crack it and peel away the darkness, the coldness, the emptiness, the pain, the anger which was inside of Damon's soul. Nobody could do this FOR 5 CENTURIES. But ONE GIRL; one small, little petite girl, who's basically ...A CHILD whom he barely knows as an outside person because of physical appearance and an outside personality which is so inherently opposite of his to begin with, is the FIRST and ONLY person to ever be able to crack Damon's Great Stone and not only that start to gradually peel away all of the darkness surrounding his soul. And not only that, shine a huge light into it at the same time, guiding him to happiness, redemption, love, joy, compassion, warmth, tenderness and happiness. Ultimately, what I am trying to say is that if it weren't for Bonnie, Damon would have never, ever felt again. And it is the power of Bonnie's unconditional, effortless, selfless caring and love for Damon that is ultimately saving Damon Salvatore. This whole series called TVD is about redemption according to L.J. Smith the author herself. And to me, the way that Elena Gilbert was, is and always will be Stefan Salvatore's ultimate redemption is the exact same way that Bonnie McCullough was, is and ALWAYS will be Damon Salvatore's redemption. BONNIE IS DAMON'S TRUE AND REAL REDEMPTION IN THIS ENTIRE SERIES. Why? Because she is Damon's light. She is the one who brings out Damon's humanity without even trying, she brings out the real Damon which has been hiding deep within him for his entire life. Bonnie has basically impacted Damon so much in such a powerful way, both subconsciously and effortlessly, that she has spiritually healed him. The same way that Damon has helped to spiritual heal Bonnie by forcing her to ultimately grow up, mature, and deepen as a person. And I think because of it, Damon and Bonnie have ultimately gone through a rather chaotic time throughout this series in such a short period of time. Damon and Bonnie seriously awakened each other and they are each other's wake up call. Elena is NOT and never has been Damon's wake up call. So anyone who tries to say that is fooling themselves. We all know that Stefan and Elena are each other's spiritual awakening. Elena is only an assistant in Damon's spiritual journey and she is strictly for Damon's personal growth on this journey.

So, ultimately, Elena is one of the obstacles standing in between Damon and Bonnie ultimately being together and growing together, I believe. Which is one of the reasons why I feel Damon and Bonnie in the novels are star-crossed. Another obstacle standing in the way of Damon and Bonnie getting closer is DAMON SALVATORE HIMSELF. Damon is a HUGE obstacle in his connection and relationship with Bonnie. The reason for this is because Damon is obsessed with Elena and possessing her since the very beginning of the series. The reason why Damon obsesses over Elena has absolutely nothing to do with real, true genuine feelings for Elena or the fact that Damon loves her. Damon doesn't love Elena. Damon wants to control her, her wants to possess her. It's all about the ego/conscious when it comes to Damon's feelings for Elena. Because of his incessant obsession with Elena, it has stopped him from realizing the deep and true feelings he has for Bonnie. Because of Damon's obsession with Elena, it has stopped him from coming to terms with his deep feelings for Bonnie. He can't bring himself to admit he has feelings for Bonnie because his mind is constantly telling him to not admit the feelings he feels deep down within himself and he is constantly trying to fight them off, pretending that they don't exist. And Damon repeatedly does this both consciously and subconsciously. Damon constantly and involuntarily saves Bonnie throughout the series and can't seem to stop himself from doing so, yet he keeps trying to make excuses for why he does it in the first place, as well as trying to cover up his feelings on saving Bonnie. He can't seem to bring himself to admit he deeply and strongly cares for Bonnie, because his mind is telling him to not do so and his mind is telling him to do the complete opposite of what his soul wants. That infamous bathtub scene in Nightfall between Damon and Bonnie really said it all and said a lot in regards to Damon's feelings for Bonnie. Whatever Damon feels for Bonnie, it's all in the soul, it's in the essence, it's in the core of his being. It's not a physical, or mental connection, or even emotional. It's a soul bond that he feels with Bonnie. Damon is in love with Bonnie's soul. Damon is deeply and passionately in love with Bonnie's soul, her essence, her being, who she is, THE INDIVIDUAL. Because if it was all about looks, you would hear Damon constantly fawn over how drop dead beautiful Bonnie is (the way that he does with Elena). And even though Damon may think Bonnie is pretty, Damon has repeatedly said in so many words throughout the series that Bonnie doesn't embody his ideal type of woman physically, mentally, even emotionally. This is why Damon refers to Bonnie as a child or a "woman-child", because in his ego and on the outside, that is what Damon sees when he looks at Bonnie. And this is the prime and major reason why I strongly believe that Damon and Bonnie's connection is so much more deep, powerful, intense and meaningful then the surface. Everything that Damon feels for Bonnie and vice versa is coming from the essence level. This is not just some random infatuation or crush, it's too deep and intense for it to be such a thing. Most people try to say that Bonnie just has a crush on Damon, and yes, it would and appear that way in the books, because Bonnie is known to be a shallow, fickle and boy-obsessed character so automatically, people are going to judge and say that she doesn't have any depth in terms of her feelings (for Damon). Which is NOT true whatsoever. I think Bonnie feels a lot deeper and more powerful, passionately and intensely, then any other character in this series besides Damon. Both Damon and Bonnie are highly passionate and intense individuals at deep levels. Don't be fooled by the innocent, fragile and vulnerable surface when it comes to Bonnie. She is extremely fiery, passionate and intense person and she's emotional as well, the exact same way that Damon is. But Bonnie's outside personality/ego doesn't display that. Instead, her outside personality displays a delicate, fragile, timid girl who's afraid to express her emotions to certain people (Elena). So, the reason why I say that Damon is an obstacle for Bamon in the books is because of his constant and incessant denial of both the deep and strong feelings he has for Bonnie and also the mutual connection that he shares with Bonnie. Damon doesn't want to come to terms with it, because HE IS SCARED. Damon is terrified and he is fearful. Because Damon has never experienced this before ever in his life and it's both extremely overwhelming and excruciatingly painful for him. And because of it, Damon feels like it is better for him to shield the feelings with his conscious/ego instead of letting go and coming to terms with them. This is why Damon denies his feelings for Bonnie and tries to fight them off, as L.J. Smith even said. The feelings that Damon has for Bonnie are completely unusual and indescribable to him. The same with Bonnie. Both Damon and Bonnie have had their share of boyfriends (Bonnie) and had their share of flings/affairs (Damon) but both of them have been yearning deeply and strongly deep within themselves for something ...."more". And for the longest time, they both couldn't find it. I think this is why Damon and Bonnie were the individuals that they were before the series began, because they both felt empty. So they both used the opposite sex as a way to make the both of them (Damon and Bonnie) feel like they are important, make them feel whole or complete. Damon is both his human life and his immortal life is a certified Don Juan/womanizer who had tons of affairs with many and various different women. Damon has had lots of women over the course of his life. He already had lots of women in his human/mortal life. Add that to how many women Damon has had in his vampire/immortal life. In most cases, most people would call Damon 'a male slut'. And Bonnie, on the opposite end of the spectrum, is a boy-obsessed girl who is highly flirtatious and coy and is also extremely fickle when it comes to men. She can't settle down because she is so flighty and flirtatious. So she dated many boys and many boyfriends because she was missing something. Even though Bonnie is a virgin, most people would call Bonnie 'promiscuous'. So the truth is, Damon and Bonnie were the way that they were for a reason. It's pretty self-explanatory when you think about it and also, when you look at the big picture.

Aside from Elena and Damon himself being pretty much the MAIN obstacles in the way of Damon/Bonnie growing closer and getting together, there are many other various situations and outside forces that have stopped D/B from getting together, things in which are out of Damon and Bonnie's control. An example is all of the minor things that happened in the Original Trilogy. Things like Katherine, Klaus, Elena's transformation into a vampire, Elena's death TWICE, the situation with the Dark Dimension and Stefan, even Bonnie's own close friends have been outside forces contributing to keeping Damon/Bonnie apart. I hate to say it, but in a way, Bonnie's friends, people like Matt and Meredith, have ultimately been somewhat of an obstacle standing in the way of Damon/Bonnie being together. In the original trilogy, both Matt and Meredith and even Elena, had repeatedly told Bonnie to stay away from Damon because he's "dangerous". This ultimately made Bonnie feel stifled again. She knew she had these indescribable feelings for Damon, yet she couldn't act on them in any way, EVEN IN THE FIRST TRILOGY, because of her own friends (Matt, Meredith, and Elena) telling her to not do so in the first place. This caused Bonnie and Damon to be separated even more because of it. She basically had to choose between her own friends or her special bond with Damon. THAT IS HARD. And because of it, I happen to think that Bonnie has seriously gone through the most emotional torment and pain then any other character in the series. Not only has she had to bear the brunt of her own best friend Elena's pain, as well as everyone else's pain, but she also has significant pain of her own in which she has kept concealed for the vast majority of the series. This only showed me and proved to me how strong Bonnie really is as a person. And Damon has been the ONLY person to really, truly see that in Bonnie. He;s the only one to really recognize her full potential and challenge her to show and display her greatest potential as a person and vice versa. So, it's not just Elena, Damon himself standing in the way of Damon/Bonnie ultimately bonding and growing closer/getting together in this series. It's so many other things and outside forces, whether they be minor things or major things. Regardless, something is keeping Damon and Bonnie from getting closer and growing stronger together. This is what makes me strongly believe that Damon/Bonnie in the book series are indefinitely "star-crossed."

One more major thing that puts a "star-crossed" stamp on Damon/Bonnie's relationship is Damon's sacrificial death in Midnight. Damon died selflessly for Bonnie, giving up his own selfish existence for Bonnie so that he could ultimately save her life and prevent her from dying in such a brutal and tragic way. If it weren't for Damon and the ultimate sacrifice that he committed, then Bonnie would have died, she would be dead. But Damon just simply couldn't let it happen. And what happened as a result? Damon died instead. That was the ultimate sacrifice that was made. Damon had to die in order to prevent his precious little redbird from dying. And Damon at that impulsive moment, would rather risk his selfish existence, if that meant and included dying himself, instead of Bonnie falling to her ultimate death. Damon would rather Bonnie live and breathe on this planet, then live his own selfish immortal existence any longer. To me, that is the most selfless act that anyone on this earth could do or commit. You don't make that kind of sacrifice for absolutely anyone. This is Damon, the guy who wouldn't even selflessly help anyone. Damon doesn't selflessly do things for other people unless he wants something in return. Damon wouldn't even risk his own life and die for his own blood (Stefan). And he never implied such a thing when it came to Elena either. Bonnie is the ONLY person whom Damon has been completely and totally selfless with throughout not only this series but in his entire 500 plus years of existence, both as a human and as a vampire. THAT IS UNCONDITIONAL LOVE, PEOPLE. And no Delena fan, or anyone for that matter, is going to tell me or convince me otherwise, especially now that the own author (L.J. Smith) happens to think and feel the same way that I think and feel regarding this situation. So, IMO, Damon's death in Midnight, has stopped Damon and Bonnie from ultimately growing together, because he is "gone". He exists no longer. And this is why I call Damon/Bonnie "star-crossed". Because up until now, it ended in tragedy. Damon/Bonnie, even though such an epic, beautiful, precious and amazing dynamic and pairing, is also incredibly HEARTBREAKING AND TRAGIC AT THE SAME TIME. Because of everything that has happened, all the obstacles, all the various outside forces, the major one being Damon's unexpected death in Midnight, Damon/Bonnie never got a chance to really, truly and deeply love each other the way they both really desired to and wanted to deep within their souls and their hearts. Damon/Bonnie could never openly openly express their feelings for each other to everyone with whom they were close to and involved with, especially Elena. Damon/Bonnie weren't able to share their special, precious and sacred bond openly and comfortably out of ultimate fear of being judged by others. Because Damon died for Bonnie so incredibly selflessly, Bonnie now feels nothing more then incredible grief, sadness, pain, anguish and also, GUILT. Bonnie feels incredibly and overwhelmingly guilty. She blames herself for Damon's death. And I admit, I'm really sad for her and I really feel bad for her, because the truth is, it wasn't her fault. But that's what I expect Bonnie to feel, because in the end, that is who Bonnie is as an individual. She is a selfless and caring person who feels passionately and deeply and she's sensitive, empathetic and incredibly emotional and she's intense. And she's gone through so many changes, so many ups and downs, so many various different emotions, as has Damon. This is all part of not only Bonnie's journey, but Damon's journey as well. And ultimately, also Damon/Bonnie's journey together. Because it is my belief that Damon/Bonnie will never be able to be together and fight all of the obstacles that await them together unless they are both strong enough together and as separate individuals emotionally, mentally, physically but most importantly, spiritually.

So, this is why I strongly believe that Damon/Bonnie are a "star-crossed" pairing/dynamic. I know many people may have differing views on this but then again, all of this is just from my POV and it's only my opinion. Again, I can't make others see it my way or understand my views and opinions. I can only express them openly and hope that others will accept the fact that I have me own views and beliefs and opinions. I'm sure that most people will probably try to curse me for labelling Damon/Bonnie star-crossed, but for me, it only makes me that much more intrigued with Bamon's connection in the books and also, on the show. Then again, this is ultimately a part of Bamon's journey is to face all of these obstacles standing in their way, because in the end, it will all be worth it for Damon/Bonnie. After all, Damon/Bonnie is the under-rated, under the radar epic love story of this entire series and this is what ultimately makes Bamon in the books so incredibly amazing, epic and beautiful. Thank you for reading. ♥

The Hunters: Moonsong

In stores March 13, 2012. L. J. Smith said she wanted this book to be about the group going to Dalcrest College. Damon would help Meredith to control her bloodlust, although that seems to have been resolved in the ghostwritten books. In an email, L. J. Smith wrote:
"I wanted to write Moonsong, and give Bonnie an admirer who is just as sweet and even more naïve than she is—a pure white wolf with radiant blue eyes, who happens to be a werewolf with moonlight colored hair and the same blue eyes when he’s human. I wanted to show Damon’s surprising reaction to Xander the...

In last week's Vampire Diaries season finale, Elena made her choice between the Salvatore brothers. Her decision probably wasn't a huge shock to fans, even though Damon fans had their fingers crossed throughout the season that the now bad boy Stefan might be moving out of the picture. The big question for next season though is will Damon move on? Perhaps gain a new love interest? Maybe Bonnie?
Julie said something about the future of Damon's love life after the season finale-:

"Never say never," replies Plec. "In the first part of the season, we're going to be very much invested in what's going to happen to Elena and what do each of the brothers have to say about it and what are each of them going to do to try to help her through this experience and what does it do to their relationship with each other? Then once the dust settles from that, we'll see [about a new romance for Damon]."

SO there is a chance for bamon.Dont lose your hope because game is not ended yet
Bamon Fanfiction. Season 4/The show-"In the tomb" (Part 2)

The Show/Season 4/Fanfiction:

Last Time: Damon finds himself trapped in a tomb where he finds Bonnie there also trapped. She opens the entrance with magic but can't lift the no exit vampire spell so leaves Damon to go and get help.

Damon's face was pressed hard into the foul smelling carpet. He was in a large room with nothing but the thread bare carpet, a large empty fire place and a small round table with books and candles on it. The witch laughed and shot his leg again. She was tormenting him.
"You're a witch-why don't you use spells?"...

So far, in the second season, the show has been about Damon's redemption and Damon finding himself and discovering his humanity. For all of us who watch the show, it is pretty evident and clear that Damon has embarked on a rather tumultuous journey and that this spiritual journey in which he has embarked on has been much of a roller coaster ride for him emotionally. For over 145 years of being a vampire, Damon has managed to shut off his humanity, therefore, causing him to shut off his feelings. He's stopped caring about people in general and has put up walls for self preservation. If you can...
