Stefan did NOT resist compulsion in 3x05 'The Reckoning'

Klaus compelled Stefan to feed on Elena once the clock was on zero. When the clock was on zero, Stefan stabbed himself, to slow himself down, to give Elena a fair chance to run. It was a noble, and selfless act, but it was not resisting compulsion. When Klaus compelled Stefan to turn off his emotions, and to feed from Elena, Stefan did. He DID turn off his emotions, and he DID feed from Elena.

Damon allowed, ORDERED Jeremy to kill him when he was compelled to kill him. He’d rather sacrifice his own life, instead of taking Jeremy’s, because he knows how much Jeremy means to Elena.

So, Stelena shippers who believe Stefan loves Elena more, because of their stupid ‘compulsion theory’, can shove that theory right up their ass, because it’s a load of crap!

HaleyDewit Okay, the first thing Klaus compelled him to do was to kill Dana and that guy she was with. He did that. Then he compelled Stefan to feed on Elena when the clock struck zero. If she were to run, he had to break her spine. He didn't do that. But that's not because he broke the compulsion. If he had broken the compulsion, he wouldn't have chased her. He tried to break it, even as he chased her, but he didn't actually break it. Then he stabbed himself, to stop himself, physically, because he knew he couldn't stop himself mentally. Klaus walks in with Elena and says 'The only thing stronger than your craving for blood is your love for this one girl' So, yes, Stefan's love for Elena is strong enough to try and stop himself from doing what he's compelled to do, but not strong enough to actually break it. Then Klaus compelled Stefan to turn of his emotions and feed on Elena, and that's exactly what he did.

delenabest17 I agree with cahe64 Stefan tried really hard to resist the compulsion but in the end he feed on elena . damon tried really hard too as you can see in 5x14 but he didn't resisted either . only elena broke the compulsion in 5x02 I guess she loves damon very much.

panther-jewel We already discussed all of that in detail after it came up, but to sum it up again shortly: Elena realized being under compulsion and stopped before Stefan was even mentioned, put a piece of metal through her leg to stop herself from killing Damon and preferred to blow both of them up together to having to continue living without him. And of course, she gets calmer thinking about the suffering of someone that she cares about (and we don’t deny Stefan being one of her many loved ones) than concentrating on the person that gets ALL of her emotions to their extremes [Damon]. But this shows again that Damon always knows best what to do with Elena and understands her better than anyone else – what is also true vice versa.

I’ve been hearing all about Bamon and how Damon and Bonnie will be the best coupling on the show but I just can’t see it. DB’ers have asked me why I don’t ship them so i’ll give them my top five reasons.

1. Why do you ship Bamon?

There’s absolutely no good reason to ship them. I’ve heard from BD fans that Ian and Kat have the best chemistry on the show. That’s a matter of opinion and I disagree. Bonnie and Damon have zero chemistry with each other, none. And most of the scenes they have together are forced and the supposed UST between them is never there. I can’t see them together...

I just watched,sooner than I thought, the whole episode.I keep reading hating comments on youtube and elsewhere about the last DE scene and now,with an opinion about the whole episode I want to give some reasons why these comments are to me unfair and unjust.

Ever since Delena fans have been around, we have been waiting for a 'I love you' or a "I like you'. Since we have already gotten the second one we are very anxiously awaiting for the first one. The big 'L'. And since it didn't take Elena that long to tell Stefan she loved him then, we think, why can't she say it to Damon? Doesn't she love him? So i've been thinking about how Delena is gonna happen and here are my ideas.

Damon is gonna use the dagger on Klaus in the season finale so he'll die. (end of season 2)
Then season 3 will start with Elena is the shower looking at the picture od her and Damon at the Miss Mystic falls as tears stream down her face.
Obviously, Stefan will comfort her but it won't do any good, she'll push him away. Then she'll go to see Damon's body and i'm hoping her speech will be along these lines.

Okay then...These books are just crazy, they go from this to that then back to this then that..its endless over the top and never get anywhere.
