I LOVE both characters. I may not agree with every decision he makes, but Damon is easily my fave character. I absolutely adore Elena and she comes in a close second.

I find her very underrated amongst the fandom and it’s perhaps because she has no supernatural powers (considering how nobody gave a shit about Caroline till season 2.) But I actually find her more interesting and more complex than someone like Katherine. This girl carries the weight of the world on her shoulders. She’s smart, brave, and has a heart the size of Texas. I think mentally, she’s the strongest character on the...

In contrast to other shippers' opinion,Damon's Thank You after Elena kissed him wasn't only meant for the kiss itself she gave him,but in my opinion, her trust in him. Thanks for telling that she likes(and loves)him the way he is,that he doesn't have to change for anyone. That he knows there's a person who likes him because of his true character and isn't obsessive trying to change him,but nevertheless DOES. Thanks for her understanding for his behavior, his feelings and most of all for revealing his humanity.Instead of giving up on him,Elena always tried to break the shell, the stone wall which...

What is a phenomenon? The Oxford Concise English Dictionary describes a phenomenon as "a fact or situation that is observed to exist or happen, especially one whose cause is in question", and "a remarkable person or thing." I think Delena are a phenomenon, or are becoming one. Of course, while it's true that DE have many fans - the biggest number of fans from all the ships on the show - it's also a fact that there are others who are strongly opposed to DE. It's been claimed by other fandoms that DE shippers refuse to acknowledge the potential for other ships, and are too caught up in their...

This is my first article, but I just had to post my thoughts about the latest episode, *Klaus*.

I thought this episode was ok for it being informative, but it irked me with the way some of the characters were acting.

I absolutely loved Elijah in this episode, past & present day. Some others may say he's like Stefan when it comes to comparing his history with Klaus with Stefan/Damon's, but I don't. I also loved Elijah/Katherine scenes, maybe even ship them a little bit.

I loved Katherine having fun with bourbon too & Damon giving her vervain.

Now, what annoyed me the most in this whole...

Damon : But it has to be right Elena , Its true that I can't stay away from you because I love you and I can't bare to not see you every day or even fight with you , the thing that matters is that I'll keep you safe weather you wanted it or not nothing more ..while he was crying and trying to hide it. Elena was torn inside by now she couldn't let him be her friend and nothing more , she felt guilty for not letting him be with her instead of Stefan .. but just then she was welling to do anything to make Damon happy so she asked him : what can I do ? just tell me what you want me to do right...

Elena opens her big expressive chocolate eyes. She slowly looks around
in the black darkness. Elena couldn't make out where she was or remember
how she got here.

Elena's head was throbbimg with a sharp pain. She could feel the now
dried blood upon her elagant face. Elena tried to call out for Damon
but her normally serene voice eluded her.

"Damon..." she said in her most weak attempt. Her now almost chestnut
colored eyes slowly searched the blackness. Elena's eyes slightly adjusted
to the darkness. Elena had a forboding feeling that eyes were watching
her although she couldn't see them. She shivered...

Yes, another Bamon thing but here's my opinion.

Damon liked Elena, heck she liked him too but he fell in love first. Now ask yourselves this (LJ too) why make Elena admit she loves Damon in SS only to have him suddenly fall for Bonnie? In the books,I like Matt/Bonnie, so who would he be with? The guy needs someone he's been through a lot too, and somehow I can't imagine Damon with Bonnie long. here's why

She cries and whines a lot (no offense).Yes,she feels pressure with having witch powers but she faints and screams at the slightest thing. Can you picture Damon tolerating that for long? He'd...

If you watched the interaction between Delena in episode 2x03, it's likely you will fall into one of two camps: those who lament Elena's aloofness towards Damon, or those who think that actually, Elena is perfectly justified in giving Damon the ice-cold treatment.
I don't think the fans who fall into the first category are under any illusion that what Damon did was twisted and evil; nor do I think they would want to downplay his actions or think Elena should forgive him at the drop of a hat. If Elena did that, then it wouldn't make her credible as a character, and it would make what Damon did...
