I also agree with Dani. The story of Damon is sooooo heartbreaking. It's obvious life forced him to become the "bad guy" but meeting Elena changed him. And he's trying soooo hard now to become the person who would at least deserve her friendship.
I know ( as one of the Stelenas pointed out ) Elena shouldn't love him back only because of his love for her, but he truly deserves happiness at last.
And we, Delena fans will be mighty disappointed if they don't end up together.... Posted over a year ago

I have to say I agree with Julie ( please don;t kill me )when she says he doesn't deserve her yet; he's too unstable, unpredictable and unreliable. After killing Jeremy Elena is still concerned about doing something he wouldn't like which could resolve in him snapping (again)
So yes Damon has still a looooong way to go... but at the end of the road there will be no reason for him to not get the girl.
Because between good Damon and good Stefan it's always gonna be Damon...

You can just FEEL which couples are soulmates or not.. D/E are definately one of the soulmates! It's strange how some people don't realize that.. instead they think S/E are soulmates, that is just ANNOYING, because they aren't! :(
