Being with Chuck could make her miserable for all they care, but as long as they get what THEY & Chuck want - who gives a shit! lol and people wonder why so many people hate CB fans lately.

rere14 Comments like this was one of many reason why I decided to join dair side, seriously there was so many disturbing comments from chair fans that it's not even funny anymore, it's really sick that a girl no a person could think like this, I know it's fictional character, but how can you be okay with a story line that basically pushed a women to be with someone she's not happy with and also had a really serious mess up relationship? It's not healthy, the producers and writers of GG need to know how their story line effect young people, in the bad way

xElvenPiratex ^ I agree. So many of the GG viewers are impressionable young girls and the writers need to take that into account and make it clear that Chuck's treatment of Blair is abuse. I really worry for these girls if they truly believe that what Chuck feels for Blair is love. Chuck is only holding onto Blair because he believes he owns her and that is NOT love. It horrifies me that anyone could think it is. Beyond that, if all these girls love Chuck so much, wouldn't they want him to be with someone who will make him happy? Wouldn't they want him to find the same "good, right love" that Dorota told Blair about? It's their logic that doesn't make sense. I saw a quote on Tumblr from annelli0t that said, "When defending one half of your OTP = bashing the other half, THERE IS SOMETHING AMISS WITH YOUR SHIPPING LOGIC" and I could not agree more! I love Dair because I love Dan, I love Blair, and I love the purity of their love for each other. They make each other happy and bring out the best in one another. Their love is just as it should be and is the kind of love these impressionable young girls should be dreaming of. I hope they realize that before they go out looking for a Chuck Bass of their own.

backtoblack ^exactly my point!everything you said. i think GG writers have created a monster here and it's their responsibility to clear their mess now.even if dan and blair don't end up together it is NO WAY okay to bring blair back to chuck!as you guys said really young girls are watching this and they are getting all the wrong ideas!abuse is NOT romantic,obsession is NOT romantic,treating someone like property is NOT epic love!i't really scary that tomorrow all these girls wont recognize abuse when they see it and will think that it is okay to be treated like that and even more that the victim is actually the one to blame.i know GG is just a TV show but not everyone who watches it seems to be able to not take it seriously and that's an actual problem. it's okay to like chuck as the villian but to actually belive that he is a good person and even that he above everybody else deserves to be happy at any cost is ridiculous.i don't know if the writers realize what they've done but i hope they do soon. and on a another hand i know it sounds baised but if you don't support Dair you don't support happiness.look at how happy they are with each other!how can that be bad?!

overthedges I have to say a lot about Chair shippers, i think is the worst fandom EVER. Full of crazy obsessed teenagers. Its rare there find someone with a brain. so Blair is basically just an object to make Chuck happy?!:O Blair deserve to be happy too, and she can't be happy with Chuck. There are a lot of scenes who screams that Chuck and Blair are wrong for each other. It's obvious. I don't think Chuck is a bad person, i think he has issues and he doesn't know how to love someone properly but first, he doesn't love himself. He has to grow up and became a man to understand how to be in love someone. He tried to change because of Blair, i believe he cares about her and he continue to chase her because she is the only person who tried to give him a chance. I don't think he loves her, i think he loves to be loved blindly and recklessly by someone bc no one in his life truly loved him the way Blair did.

shaa-lanniezria I AGREE WITH EVERY ONE OF YOU!! omg i ended up having an argument with a chair fan on a GG spot on here the other day and considered never coming on this site again because im never going to win the argument with a chair fan and because they were so childish i was getting angry haha, which was so stupid. ahh they were basically saying chuck and blair are endgame and they are epic etc. so i said now i get why you don't understand the concept of dan and blair's love. argh they just annoy me so much.. once upon a time i didn't mind chuck, but now thanks to chair fans constantly trying to redeem him and defend him, i cant stand him!!

delenasalvatore OK...*takes deep breath* Chuck has already had Blair. He had her in S3. He could have been with her in S4. He came very close to running away with her in S5. I think Chair fans, like Chuck himself, think that if he has Blair, then he will be happy and his life will be complete. That's an illusion. When Chuck had Blair in S3, he screwed it up. (With Blair's doing, of course.) But he set the relationship up to crash. I don't actually believe Chuck is a 'bad' person, he has been shown to be loving and caring and selfless at times, but the way he's been brought up has led to a minefield of emotional issues which makes him very unstable when it comes to having a relationship with someone. I think he holds onto Blair because he doesn't think anyone else can love him the way she can, even though he was probably his best and happiest when he was with Eva. I find it disturbing that Chair fans don't care about Blair. What about HER happiness? She's not just an accessory for Chuck. What Chuck REALLY needs is a family. He's never had one, not even when his father was alive. He needs a proper family. I think he's learned all he can about loving someone else from Blair, and vice-versa. If Blair continues to keep loving Chuck obsessively regardless of how miserable it's making her, then it shows she has become co-dependent on him. Blair's happiness is just as important as Chuck's. That's one of the reasons why I stopped shipping them. I could see how unhappy Blair was with him and I knew how much she deserved to be happy and in love even if that person wasn't Chuck. I believe Chuck CAN be happy WITHOUT Blair. In fact, I think he'd be a lot better off if he learned to let her go. If Chair fans truly cared about both characters, not just Chuck, they would realise that Chuck and Blair need to let each other go and move on with their lives in order to be truly happy.
