After creating the 'Date With An Angel' spot I wanted to create a spot for the movie Splash as well, however I found that there wasn't enough material around for either movies and since they were both similar and both 1980's movies with the same romance, comedy and fantasy aspects I decided to bring both of these mystical creatures together and change it to the 'Date With An Angel vs Splash' spot, Splash came out in 1984, followed by Date With An Angel in 1987 and had similar story lines two mystical females who fell in love with two ordinary guys, one being a mermaid and the other an angel,...
