He was just such a good bad guy! Intimidating in both looks and mind, cold-hearted, vengeful. The makings of an epic villain are seen in him constantly. But then it turned out that maybe he wasn't all bad - he was actually in love. ("...with a girl." Sorry, Jack Sparrow moment there. I'll be happy if anyone gets that!) Then you learned more about his love life and it just got more and more tragically devoted. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm a sucker for tragic romances. That just makes the story for me.

Davy Jones is just the most complex character, with multiple layers of emotions and facades, he's one of the greatest and most relatable cinema villains of all time.
And his beard is pretty awesome.
Actually, I have a necklace of his key that I almost never take off!!
One of my favourite all time movie villains! I can't fault the job Bill Nighy and the makers did on that character. He was just so cruel and cold yet there's these much deeper feelings going on below the surface, and very tragic - which always does it for me. He had some brilliant lines aswell. :)
