Yvonne Craig was a major actress in the 1960s.
She got the honor of playing Batgirl in the 1960s
Batman live action show.

Batman and Robin were created a long time before Batgirl. Batman was created in 1939 and Robin was created in 1940. Barbra Gordon wasn't the first Batgirl. There was a different Batgirl who had a different real name and personality.

If you're a fan of Barbra Gordon's Batgirl then you should know who William Dozier and Yvonne Craig are. Bill Dozier was the show's creator as well as Barbra Gordon's creator. He's the one who convinced DC Comics to have Barbra Gordon be a regular...

Several actors have played Batman. There have been over five live action versions of Batman as well as various voice actors. People often discuss about which Batman actor is the best. I think that the best is Adam West.

1. Adam West stood out more than any other Batman actor

Adam West got to play Batman in a show that lasted over 100 episodes. That gave him plenty of time for his version of Batman to be memorable. Later on he got to voice Batman in cartoons which gave him a chance to play various versions of Batman. All of his performances as Batman are a memorable treat.

The other live action...

The first actor that played the Riddler was Frank Gorshin. The Riddler has been played by various actors who were very talented, but I think that Mr. Gorshin is the best.

The Riddler was in the first couple episodes of the 1966 Batman show. In those episodes Mr. Gorshin gave a scene stealing performance. His performance was so good that the Riddler ended up being the main antagonist of the first season. He actually showed up more than the Joker did in the first season. Joker and Penguin both appeared in six episodes (three arcs that were all two episodes long), but the Riddler appeared in 8...

Note: This list is dedicated to Bob Kane, Bill Finger, Adam West, and all of the talented people who have helped the Batman franchise.

Batman (Bruce Wayne) has been played by several actors. This list ranks the live action Batman actors. This list is ranked from my least favorite to my favorite.

8. George Clooney

George Clooney played Batman in my least favorite live action Batman film, Batman and Robin. George Clooney is a pretty good actor, but he didn't work as Batman. I blame the script. Batman and Robin had some poor casting choices. George works well as a actor, but not as Batman.

7. Robert...

A lot of things in the latest cinematic DC Universe seem to irritate people. Some of those things irritate me as well, but what irritates me more is the number of complaints about things in this universe that are totally ok and make sense. So I'll be going through these problems with Man of Steel and Batman v Superman and explaining why they're actually problems with the people watching the movies. I will rank them based on how much they annoy me. THERE WILL (obviously) BE SPOILERS.

#6: The Killings

Something about these movies that made a lot of commotion was when Superman broke Zod's neck,...

Below is a list of my top five (5) favorite episodes from Season Two (1994-1995) of "LOIS AND CLARK: THE NEW ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN". Created by Deborah Joy LeVine, the series starred Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher:

1. (2.18) "Tempus Fugtive" - Lane Davies and Terry Kiser are superb as time traveling villain Tempus, who wants to kill Superman before he becomes an adult, and legendary writer H.G. Wells, who needs Lois and Clark's help to stop him in this first-rate episode.

2. (2.14) "Top Copy" - Raquel...

”THE GREEN HORNET” (2011) Review

My memories of the costumed hero, the Green Hornet, are pretty sketchy. I can only recall actor Van Williams portraying the character in the short-lived television series from the mid-1960s, with future martial arts icon, Bruce Lee, portraying his manservant and partner-in-crime fighting, Kato. But if I must be honest, I never saw any of the episodes from the series. My memories of Williams and Lee as the Green Hornet and Kato were limited to their guest appearances on the ABC series, ”BATMAN”.

When I had first heard about plans to release a movie about...

The first 10 projects in the works for the DC Universe have been unveiled by DC Studios chiefs James Gunn and Peter Safran. The current plans see the DCU kick off with 5 series and 5 films, spanning live-action and animated TV series and theatrical films.

“Here at DC, we have Metropolis, Gotham, Themyscira, Atlantis, Bialya… This is the world that we’re creating,” Gunn shares. “We’re coming into a world where superheroes exist and have existed for some time in one form or another, and that’s the universe. We are telling a big, huge central story [...]. What we’re starting with...

I've heard from a lot of places that Batman can supposedly take out the whole rest of the Justice League by himself. I'll admit, I don't read the comics too much, but I watch everything from DC, and I've read wiki pages and other articles by professionals, so I know what I'm talking about. (Mostly. Feel free to correct me if I am LOGICALLY wrong. If it's just your opinion, don't try and say that that makes me wrong.) So, Batman can take out the whole JL. Or can he? I've been thinking on it for a while, and I'm not quite sure he can. He'd lose a straight-up fight to practically anyone else on...

“GREEN LANTERN” (2011) Review

The year 2011 marked the end of the television series, “SMALLVILLE”. The same year saw the release of “THE GREEN HORNET”, starring Seth Rogen and Jay Chou. And a few months later, Warner Brothers Studios released their adaptation on the DC Comics superhero, the Green Lantern.

Directed by Martin Campbell, “THE GREEN LANTERN” told the story of a hotshot test pilot for Ferris Aircraft named Hal Jordan, who becomes the Green Lantern . . . or one of them. Before Earth was formed, a group of beings called the Guardians of the Universe used the green essence...

- The villians are Lex Luthor and Metallo.

- Batman forms a UN type deal to stop Superman from destroying another city

- Aquaman is in it, but not called Aquaman. He’s there because the world engine in the ocean did something to the fish

- Wonder woman poses as a Wayne Enterprises investor to retrieve an item that belongs to her people.

- Lex Luthor is in the shadows a lot, a manipulator. Not much face time with Superman.

- Robin betrayed Batman at some point, leading to a falling out between them

- The Batcave was super cool looking, and the mobile looked similar to Burton’s

- Lois is investigating Lex.

- Metallo “kills” Clark

- The Daily Planet is bought by Lex Luthor for PR purposes

- At the end Superman is living in exile, and the Justice League is a government approved superhero team.

In theatres, on the 16th of May, 2016
Superman is DC's first super hero in addition to being 1 of the best super heroes of all time. Superman doesn't have as many iconic villains as Batman, but he does have some cool enemies. This list is about my 5 favorite enemies of Superman.

5. Mr. Mxyzptlk

Mr. Mxyzptlk is a trouble making antagonist. He is more of a comedic villain than the other Superman villains. He manages to annoy Superman a lot. Mr. Mxyzptlk is 1 of Superman's most entertaining enemies. He truly shines in Superman: The Animated Series where is amusingly voiced by Gilbert Gottfried.

4. Doomsday

Doomsday may not be that prominent...

Below is a list of my top five (5) favorite episodes from Season One (1993-1994) of "LOIS AND CLARK: The New Adventures of Superman". Developed for television by Deborah Joy LeVine, the series starred Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher:

1. (1.12) "All Shook Up" - After preventing an asteroid from impacting upon Earth, Clark Kent/Superman loses his memory and forgets how to use his powers. Martha and Jonathan Kent arrive to help Clark regain his memory, so that he can become Superman and stop a fragment of the asteroid...

”BATMAN BEGINS” (2005) Review

When Christopher Nolan’s reboot of the BATMAN franchise first made its debut during the summer of 2005, many critics and moviegoers hailed it as the second coming. They also viewed it as a vast improvement over the four films released between 1989 and 1997. Since then, ”BATMAN BEGINS” has been overshadowed by its 2008 sequel, ”THE DARK KNIGHT”. After a recent viewing of the 2005 movie, I must admit that I have a deeper attachment for it.

”BATMAN BEGINS” was basically an origin tale about the scion of a wealthy Gotham City family, who endured a...

For those who are into the whole 'underground' world of up and coming things, Red Hood & The Outlaws are just that in the New 52 Universe. Being that Red Hood is connected to Batman, it seems as though this series is overlooked for some reason. As it competes with series' such as Flash, JLA, and Batman, it's tough to see fans pass over Red Hood and his endearing adventures in fighting supernatural beings, assassins, and aliens. In fact, since new series writer James Tynion IV took over writing duties, the series is better than ever. With a great and moving plot line, witty dialogue, and amazing art, the series has reinvigorated itself. Though many may have bet that the series would meet the same fate as Blackhawks and Frankenstein, Agent of S.H.A.D.E, it seems as though Red Hood and his Outlaws will live to see another day. It only asks for respect and to be seen as a legit top-selling series.

Five years ago, Christopher Nolan's three-movie saga about the D.C. Comics character, Batman, finally came to an end. The saga that began seven years earlier with 2005's "BATMAN BEGINS", ended with 2012's "THE DARK KNIGHT RISES".

Set seven years after 2008's "THE DARK KNIGHT", "THE DARK KNIGHT RISES" began with the aerial kidnapping of a nuclear scientist by an escaped terrorist named Bane. The scene shifted to Gotham City, where a fund-raiser was being held at Wayne Manor. The only person missing was millionaire Bruce Wayne, who had given up his vigilante...

Superman is a 2006 DC film that stars Superman who is 1 of DC's most popular characters.

Note: This review is dedicated to Marlon Brando (1 of the best actors of all time.)

The Plot

After being gone for 5 years Superman returns to Earth. He is upset to find out that Lois Lane is engaged and has a son. Meanwhile Lex Luthor is working on a plan that puts the world in danger. It's up to Superman to save the world from Lex's dangerous scheme.

Superman Returns is a weird film. The film has 2 storylines. There is Superman's storyline with Lois and Lex's storyline. Lex's storyline is more interesting...
