She doesn’t know that Rodolphus knows, he keeps it secret from her. She doesn’t love him now! She most likely despises him! Maybe she did love him once, but that was long ago. When they shared their first kiss, she promised him that she’d never break this bond…This chain of love that held the two together. He knows that she will never love him again.

They would spend the day together. Listening as the wind blew swiftly through the trees. At such a beautiful moment, she would kiss him and say that he was all she ever wanted.
