It's a crazy battle, and if only Lynette hadn't filed charges, maybe it wouldn't have gotten any uglier... but I think, in the first place, she was right to fear for her job, considering Carlos' opinion on pregnant employees...

Plus, that was so sad when she worked all night to get the papers done and he fired her anyway. That was just cold on Carlos' part.

What do you guys think?

100% on team Scavo!!!
Lynnette had every right to sue Carlos, I mean...he is an employeer abussing a pregnant employee! What he expected?? Linette quietly accepting all the abuse? He knows Lynette, he knows she would do something about it!!!

Also, Carlos did really bad by fireing her just because of not having the papers on time. He knew it was imposible to do all that work in one night and Carlos is the kind of person who puts his family first and then his work, so he should have been more understanding! If he was in Lynnette's place he would have done the same...go to his daugther parade and then finish the work!!
it broke my heart seeing Carlos treating a pregnant woman, who is also his neighbord and friend that way just for one little mistake she made. After all the Scavo family depends on Lynnette's work, its their only income and Carlos took away that from just for a silly thing!!

Lynnette shouldn't have lied in the first place and she REALLY shouldn't sue them.

The Scavos! I agree with everyone's comment, I totally disliked Carlos'attitude, The Scavos depend on Lynette's income and besides she is very responsible and hard working, anyone can make mistakes, she is expecting new twins and her husband went back to University, if you add two mischeavous twin brothers, it's a lot of pressure for one housewive, So Go Team Scavo!! Ha Ha.

Carlos is being completely unreasonable. He wasn't betrayed professionally or personally. If he wasn't playing fast an loose with discrimination laws he would have had 5 to 6 months notice (much more than the 30 days the law requires). He wound up with 3 to 4 months notice. Is that so terrible? Come on how in the world is that a problem? Nobody can tell me that's not plenty of time to find a replacement for a 6 week or 2 month maternity leave. It's just not that big a deal. HR can get candidates within a week or two and interviews could start within a month. A minor headache, sure, but who cares? It's Carlos's job as a boss to deal with reality of the business world. Employees quit, get pregnant, get sick, get injured, need leaves of absenses or have family emergencies. That's why he gets the big bucks.

Heck, personally as a friend he can't rightly be mad-the Scavo kids didn't even get more notice than that. He can't expect more than family. Cancer survivors pushing 50 pregnant with multiples may not announce in their first trimester-and they have every right to wait a bit.

They could play segments of stuff Carlos was pulling at workplace seminars all over the US as examples to illustrate illegal discrimination practices and a hostile work environment.

I did feel for the Solis's because they were just trying to help and Gabby was going through so much! But Lynette was doing an awesome job and to do what Carlos did I thought was wrong ( I think he could have done it; let her go, in a totally different way! )but she was pregnant and she also was in the wrong too!
