This is something I've been mulling over for the past couple years, ever since I rediscovered my love for the Disney Princesses and began to watch all the old movies. We all know that Disney tends to take liberties with its merchandise (think Cinderella's silver gown that suddenly turned blue), but this one may be something that the fans have imposed upon the movies.
Recall, for a moment, Monsieur Walt Disney's first two princes, generally referred to as The Prince and Prince Charming due to the fact that they strangely remain nameless for the entirety of their movies, despite being the heroines' eventual one true loves. (The authorities are still unsure as to how this grievous lapse of information occurred.) Both are dreamy, handsome, romantic, and famously underdeveloped characters.
Many of you are probably wondering what it is about them that I take issue with. Well, my dear readers, I ask you here and now, which one of them is actually Prince Charming?
"Why, Cinderella's prince, of course!" you reply confidently.
INCORRECT! And I have evidence to prove it, my friends, cold hard evidence!
You may remember a certain scene from the movie Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in which our fair princess sings of how one day her prince will find her and carry her off to his castle where they will live forever in happiness and comfort. Just before this song begins, Snow White is asked by one of her dwarven company whether or not it was hard to fall in love. In response she laughs "It was very easy! Anyone could see that the prince was charming; the only one for me."
Just mull over that line for a moment... Done? Good. Now I don't know about you, but I don't ever recall Cinderella describing her prince in such a way. Thus, I must conclude that Snow White's prince is the real Prince Charming, meaning Cinderella's prince is an impostor! Who is he really and why has he conspired to steal another noble prince's identity? None can say!
And so, without further ado, let the commenting begin!

Hi! I'm arieridan, and since I'm pretty new, I'd like to introduce myself again.
1 = I used to be @chillyneon, but deleted my account because it was too distracting,
2 = I'm naturally a bleach blonde (like Elsa) but dyed my hair red (like Ariel's) and since I have tight curls, I like to think of myself as a real life Merida, and a real life Ariel when I straighten my hair.
3 = My first ever Disney movie was Sleeping Beauty.
4 = My top 3 DP's are CInderella, Aurora, and Tiana.
5 = my favorite DV is Hades
6 = My favorite non-Disney Princess is Megara.
7 = My favorite non-Disney Princess movie is Dumbo.
8 = My top 3 least favorite DP's are Snow White, Ariel, and Jasmine.
9 = The DP I relate most to is Rapunzel
10 = My favorite Disney Prince is Naveen
I couldn't really make anymore reasons. If you have a question on why I chose something, I'll answer you back in the comments!
