I wanted to do this for a while, but I wanted to wait until Frozen came out before I did. Plus, I have school and tutoring so I really didn't have time. Anyways, here is my long-awaited favorite DP list.
13. Merida
Previous Position: 11
*Blows a deep breath* Merida. (Read in same tone as Nostalgia Chick uses when she said “Anime” in her top ten hottest animated guys countdown.) I want to like her, I really do. But I just... can't. I dislike Merida. I do admit that she did a great thing at the end: admit that she was bad and selfish and accept responsibility for it. But I honestly don't see her as the badass role model everyone sees her as. She's not a very original character, and she brings nothing new to the DP lineup.
12. Jasmine
Previous Position: 10
Starting from here is where I start to like the princesses. For a while, I could not stand her and thought she was a spoiled brat (I still think she's spoiled). I dislike how she yells at people and and how that somehow makes her strong and independent. I have a love-hate relationship with her. She does act like a hypocritical brat. However, I think this makes her realistic.
11. Pocahontas
Previous Position: 9
This is where I start to love the princesses. I love how she's graceful, yet strong and athletic. She is very sophisticated and noble. I also relate to her indecisiveness. I REALLY wanna make sure I do the right thing. Just like her, I also procrastinate. She's also very wise, going to help when she needs it.
10. Aurora
Previous Position: 8
I used to didn't like her all that much and think she was bland and boring. Now I admire and really respect her. She's a very underrated Disney Princess. Also, contrary to what people believe, she actually has a personality. She's elegant, she's shy, she's socially awkward, she knows what's the right thing to do, and she puts others over herself. Sounds like a personality to me. She's an amazing role model, too. Aurora is disgustingly underrated (as is the case with the Classic Princesses).
9. Rapunzel
Previous Position: 7
I feel bad for having her this low, I really love her. Rapunzel is very charming and is like the modern version of Ariel. I love how she spends her time meaningfully, and she's sweet and optimistic. I also REALLY love how she's a girly-girl princess, something you rarely see in heroines nowadays.
8. Snow White
Previous Position: 6
I really love Snow White. I love her optimistic attitude, her work ethic, and her bossiness. When people say she is passive and has no personality, I'm like "... Are we looking at the same Snow White?" I loved her more and more as I got older, she's amazing.
7. Tiana
Previous Position: 5
I love how she has a sense of humor and doesn't let her father's death get to her emotions. I also love how she learns what's important in the end. Her friendship with Charlotte is incredibly cute, and she never gets jealous or anything. I also REALLY love her work ethic. She's also really cheerful, which I love.
6. Ariel
Previous Position: 4
Ariel is very interesting, and she's the princess I relate to the most. We both like seeing new things, collecting things, exploring, etc. She's a really fun character. Her impulsiveness reminds me of myself.
5. Elsa
Elsa is so unique and complex, the most complex out of all the Disney Princesses. She reminds me a lot of the Classic Princesses: ladylike and reserved. Her having my favorite power just makes her cooler. I love how responsible and relatable she is. She's also incredibly admirable. I love how her gentle personality contrasts her awesome powers.
4. Mulan
Previous Position: 3
I feel bad for lowering her position, since I REALLY love her. People think she's a hardcore, manly tomboy but she's not. She's insecure and timid, which is great because it's relatable. She's very poised, being able to speak eloquently and is actually kinda graceful. I also love how she wants to follow tradition, which is rare because nowadays all the kids wanna rebel and the kids are somehow okay with it. Her crush on Shang is really adorable. AND SHE FREAKING SAVED CHINA.
3. Anna
I FREAKING LOVE ANNA! She's one of the most realistically written heroines in a long time. I have felt her feelings of isolation. And she's awkward, too, something we all can relate to. She's really selfless, loving, and brave. I love how she tries to fix her mistakes, by finding her sister and bringing her back home.
2. Belle
I REALLY, REALLY LOVE BELLE. I respect her so much. I can relate to her being a daydreamer and wanting to find adventure. She's also really touching and unselfish, sacrificing herself for her father's life. I really appreciate her as a person and a character.
1. Cinderella
I truly adore Cindy. Cinderella is so realistic, and yet she's the perfect role model. She's not perfect, she has her flaws. She feels frustration and annoyance, but she doesn't let it bring her down. I wish I was as patient as she was. She's very stoically cheerful, which shows signs of self-respect. Her reaction to her dress being torn apart was very realistic, for someone who has been abused for as long as she was. She's grateful for what she has-her friendship with the mice, and whenever she gets something good. She's stronger than a lot of heroines, despite being called a doormat (which I don't get). She's truly awesome! I also relate to how she gets up in the morning before she started singing, that's me every morning.

Allright, I have seen all those articles before about the role models but I would like to write one all together to be fair and to not be a single opinion, so If you can please write who do you think is the best role model. That's how I wan't to make the top 10 with the help of all you. Please I think Mulan deserves to be number one so tell me for others. You can write for every one you wan't, for example If we have a lot who think Belle is a good role model, she will be the second. If you have questions ask in comments, the final list (top ten) will be announced next week! Please vote, I will make and a poll for that and remember, say why!
Since I am trying to make the Princess Of The Month more popular, this is another one of my ideas. In the end of each month I'll post articles, based on the countdowns for songs, hairstyles and outfits. There everybody will have the chance to discuss whether they agree with the results, what corresponded to their expectations, and what they wish would have been different!
Once again, I will be using pictures for my articles. A few months back I would have made a detailed explanation about each result, but since the recent changes, Fanpop has been acting really weird. And yes, I don't like the option of writing long paragraphs with text, while the pictured are all clustered in the bottom of the article! So under each picture I will be posting one comment, related to the result. So in case you don't want your comments posted in my articles, please contact me!
Here are the results of the POTM Hairstyles Countdown: ~*Jasmine*~ (February 2013)! Enjoy and share your opinion!
