One of the best things about Disney princess films are their princesses(obviously) and songs. As a singer, music lover, and actor, I've always paid close attention to the voices that bring these wonderful characters and songs to life. I am picky about the voices I like but can admit that no princess has a bad voice, some are just much better than others. Share your opinions.
13. Snow White
Let me begin by saying that I'm ranking both singing and speaking voices and that even though she's at the bottom, I don't hate Snow White's voice. Let's be honest here, most people find her voice to be annoying. I don't but I must admit that it is a bit of an acquired taste for many. I guess because its so squeaky and old fashioned. It's definitely the most unique princess voice and can be cute at times, particularly when she's speaking, but its the least enjoyable to listen to for me mainly because it's so shaky when she sings sometimes. It just seems sort of weak compared to the others but Snow White wouldn't be Snow White without that memorable voice.
12. Cinderella
Will Cinderella ever do better than second to last on my lists? I don't know. Cinderella's voice is not bad or annoying but it is kind of boring. She sings like someone from the forties, nice but not exciting. Her songs are probably the easiest to sing of any princess and she really doesn't sing anything different, it's all in the same, safe, average range. Her speaking voice is normal but not very memorable. The only thing that sets her apart from the other princesses is the sort of huskier quality than her voice has. Doesn't she have one of the lowest singing voices of any princess? I like that but she doesn't show range and besides that was kind of normal back then.
11. Merida
O.k. I like her voice, especially the accent, but she doesn't sing so I only had the speaking. voice to work with. Still, it's a good voice. Strong like her and very different from any other. It's full of energy and life and is easily when of the most emotional princess voices but with speaking alone this is the best she can do.
10. Belle
Belle has a nice, normal, speaking voice. It sounds like a princess voice but it lacks uniqueness. As for her singing, well, it's normal but not as good as the others. Some say that she has an amazing voice but she really doesn't. Its only memorable if you've seen the film a bunch of times. There's just something there that I'm not crazy about, I sort of connect to her voice but not a lot. She doesn't have the range or vocal power of some of the other princesses and its almost as if she's trying too hard to sound like the perfect princess. All that being said, I guess she's o.k. but nothing spectacular.
9. Jasmine
Her speaking voice is not my favorite. She sometimes has this whole seductress thing going on mixed with a playfulness that sounds a little fake sometimes, like she's trying to sound attractive but when she's just talking normally or angry she sounds fine. Her singing is normal but we only hear her once but Lea Salonga does a good job like always although I thought she was better as Mulan. Jasmine has a feistiness that I like and her voice is more unique and memorable then Belle's.
8. Tiana
I like Tiana's speaking voice. It's got emotion and uniqueness and matches her well but her singing voice is just normal. It's alittle disappointing though because it sounded like Anika Noni Rose was holding back, I wish she would've just blasted out the songs with more force like she did in the last song. "Almost There" could have been better but it was kind of boring when it came to the singing. She had her good moments but never really blew me away.

This is where things get a bit more difficult for me to rank.
7. Ariel
She's got a pretty, youthful voice that is full of emotion but not as strong or memorable as the others. Also, she's silent for a good bit of the film. Her voice is not as strong or memorable as the ones ahead of her but it's nice. It's at its best in the "Part of Your World" reprise, when you hear so much longing and emotion. She sounds like a real 16 year old which is good.
6. Rapunzel
I really like this girl. Mandy Moore did a great job with making her likable and youthful. Her voice is so expressive and energetic but her singing is more pop sounding than the other princesses so it comes across of slightly weaker sounding. It's nice but it isn't as powerful or large as the others but it is memorable.
5. Aurora
This one was so hard to place. Her speaking voice is so forgettable and she barely speaks anyways but her singing is gorgeous. It is so rich and has a lovely operatic feel since her voice was provided by an opera singer. She has such a clear, unique voice that matches her perfectly. No wonder the prince went looking for her after hearing her. She has one of the best singing voices of any Disney female. It sounds so effortless even though the songs aren't that easy to sing. Unfortunately, her bland speaking voice doesn't help her so she stuck at fifth place.
4. Mulan
I love her but she doesn't have the absolute best voice. It's great but their are better. The great Lea Salonga gave us her singing voice that was strong and beautiful. Her speaking voice was good but their are even more emotional and expressive voices. This top four is great overall though.
3. Anna
I love her voice. Like Mandy Moore, Kristen Bell did an excellent job of making Anna funny, playful and likable. The speaking voice is perfect. For a non singer, Kristen Bell is a pretty good singer. Some people didn't like it but I think she sounded nice and expressive and while Elsa's voice is stronger, Anna's is more pleasing to listen to sometimes. Still, their both great.
2. Elsa
This was very hard. Elsa has one of the most powerful singing voices of any princess but it can sound a bit nasally and the high notes can sound a little shrieky (remember the Oscars? That last high note was rough, the whole thing was actually, I know the sound is big and hard to sing exactly like it sounds in the film, but still). Her speaking voice was good although we hear more of Anna. I like its mature sound and the attitude in it.
1. Pocahontas
She has hands down my favorite singing voice out of the princesses. It is the strongest and most interesting. Her songs are not easy, actually I think "Just Around the Riverbend" is the hardest princess song to sing and she sings it effortlessly. She has such a unique sound, mature, expressive, emotional, powerful, really only Elsa comes close but I think Pocahontas' range is bigger since Elsa's not as strong in the low notes as she is when she belts while Pocahontas is consistently good throughout her range. Her speaking voice isn't as memorable or expressive but it still isn't bad and has emotional moments and a unique sound even if it occasionally sounds a little flat.

The three classic princesses
The three classic princesses
Okay, I am writing an article after a long time. I suffered from the lack of ideas and imagination for more than 12 days ago. So, I am not in a mood to start a new series, either, Damn! So, I decided to do one short article, duh! Sorry, I am gonna do a series! I mean, duh, some princesses were horribly out of place. I mean, we think every princess is beautiful, but some are a little historically inaccurate and drawn in a wrong way.

Snow White

Snow White

It is kinda easy to figure out where this classic took place. The dwarfs’ house is decorated with carved wooden instruments and furniture....

Thanks for tuning in to the second article of the series, Snow White's favorite princess list. If you haven't already, please go read link.
6 years ago I did these articles as well, so you are welcome to go check out my old opinion on Snow White's rankings link.
Disclaimer: None of us will ever know truly what Snow White's favorite princess list would be. However, being on fanpop for 9 years, I find myself heavily invest in Disney Princesses and I did my best to parse out how I think Snow White would rank the princesses. She's an interesting one to dissect since I think she would love all the...

Anastasia, how are you?
Anastasia, how are you?
Hi guys, okay since I'm a fan of both films. So here are comparisons on both films.

The Story

While watching Tangled, I notice some similarities with Anastasia. Rapunzel and the latter are both lost princesses who would be a commoner for the majority of the film.
Unlike Rapunzel, Anastasia suffers from amnesia while falling of the train and losing grip of her grandmother while escaping the revolution, while Rapunzel was kidnap as a baby by Mother Gothel.
They find true love along the way, and they did not get on well with Flynn and Dmitri respectively. But, as time goes by their relationship...

Notes: Frozen is not created and owned by me. This is a remake of a fan fiction that I made months ago. This is a story for both Fanpop and Fanfiction.net.

The kingdom floor was messy. Anna had left lots of stuff on the floor. Elsa almost tripped. Elsa walked to Anna, looking mad. Elsa was wearing a light blue shirt and purple pants.

Anna was wearing a purple shirt and pink pants. Anna said "Hi Elsa. What's up?"

Elsa said "Anna I have told you tons of time not to leave your stuff all over the floor."

Anna said "It's not all over the floor. I'm sure there are a few spots that don't have stuff on...

My opinion changes a lot almost weekly but every few months I update my favorite Disney Princess list, and I pretty much stick with it, until I update it again. This is my latest update of my Disney Princess list. Enjoy:)

14. Elsa

Honestly, she was sixth on my Disney Princess list for a while, but I think that was the only length of time I actually liked Elsa. Other than that length of time, I've never really liked Elsa. I mean, I guess I like seeing so many girls relate to her, but I really don't like much about her.

She has a horrible personality, she blames everyone else for her problems,...
