A great appreciation for all people in this spot who participated in my poll. Using the link (Myers Briggs Type Indicator) assessment, I attempted to classify Belle in one of sixteen different personality types.

BELLE IS...

1. Introverted link

Introverts often:
- Have quiet energy
- Listen more than talk
- Think quietly inside their heads
- Think, then act
- Feel comfortable being alone
- Prefer to work "behind-the-scenes"
- Have good powers of concentration
- Prefer to focus on one thing at a time
- Are self-contained and reserved

In the song "Belle," she preferred reading alone to mingling with the villagers. She was more of a homey girl than a society girl. She was quite reserved, in a sense, that the villagers did not understand her.

2. Intuitive link

Intuitives often:
- Focus on the big picture & possibilities
- Admire creative ideas
- Notice anything new or different
- Are inventive - see what could be
- Think about future implications
- Trust their gut instincts
- Prefer to learn new skills
- Like to figure things out for themselves
- Work in bursts of energy

Belle loved to think about the future: "I want much more than this provincial life." She admired her father, who was a creative, though odd, inventor. When Maurice was missing, Belle discovered with her instinct that something was wrong.

In the Beast's castle, Belle's intuition told her that it was an enchanted castle. "This is my first time in an enchanted castle.... I figured it out myself," she said.

She quickly observed that the Beast changed into a gentler character. Then she learned to be happy in the Beast's castle and, in time, to love him.

3. Thinking link

Thinkers often:
- Make decisions objectively
- Appear cool and reserved
- Are most convinced by rational arguments
- Are honest and direct
- Value honesty and fairness
- Take few things personally
- Are good at seeing flaws
- Are motivated by achievement
- Argue or debate issues for fun

Belle is not a 100% Thinking type. She has some traits that belong to a Feeling type. She did not always "make decisions objectively." (She decided to go from the Beast's castle because she was frightened. "Promise or no promise, I can't stay here another minute.")

Instead of being "cool and reserved," she was more "warm and friendly," another Feeling trait. She also took quite many things personally. When Maurice was imprisoned by the Beast, she considered it an offense toward herself and offered to replace her father.

However, Belle is quite strong in her thinking. She directly voiced her thoughts about Gaston to her father (though not to Gaston, of course): "He's handsome all right, and rude, and conceited." She dared to defy Gaston even when the villagers were with him.

Furthermore, she was honest with the Beast when she said that she was happy with him.

4. Perceiving link

Perceivers often:
- Like to keep their options open
- Are playful and casual
- Are less aware of time and may run late
- Prefer to start projects
- Play first, work later
- May have difficulty making some decisions
- Question the need for many rules
- Like to keep plans flexible
- Want the freedom to be spontaneous

It is clear that Belle belongs to the Perceiving type. She is "playful and casual." See how she kicked the bucket when she sang, "Madame Gaston, can you just see it?"

We can easily imagine her to forget time when reading. The villagers said, "Her nose (was) stuck in a book." Belle herself declared to the librarian that she "couldn't put it (her book) down."

We don't know whether she played first, worked later, or worked first, played later, because it is not shown in the movie. Although she went to the library (fun for her) before helping her father, I believe that she knew her responsibility. Maybe she had asked his permission when she went to the library.

In the castle, she questioned the Beast's rule: forbidding her to go to the West Wing.

She was also flexible in eating her breakfast from her bowl, to make the Beast feel better.

BELLE IS AN INTP - THE THINKER

The characteristics of an INTP (Introverted, iNtuitive, Thinking, Perceiving) person:

- Rational and reasonable
- Loves knowledge and new ideas
- Sometimes appears dreamy and distant
- Spends a lot of time thinking
- Dislike routine work
- Does not lead or control others
- Does not want to be controlled
- Flexible and tolerant, except when his/her beliefs are violated
- Independent, original, and creative

Hi everyone!

So it's been about six months since I joined Fanpop, and about as much time since I published my first DP article ranking the DPs. This article will explain my new ranking of the Disney princesses (including Anna and Elsa) from lowest to highest in my opinion. Hope you like it!

13. Elsa (same spot)

Unfortunately, Elsa’s still at the bottom of my list. This is mainly because she doesn’t seem to exhibit any worry about the kingdom and sister she leaves behind after they find out about her ice powers, which is disconcerting since she spent her whole life...

Brotherly love
Brotherly love
Hi guys, since I had compare both Titanic and Frozen. There is another movie that I notice that is similar to the latter, and that movie is Brother Bear.

Brother Bear

Apart from the sibling love, Kenai actually reminds me of Elsa, because like Elsa, he needs to have brotherly love with Koda. He was also mistakenly thought to be the same bear in his brother, Denahi's eyes that killed his 2 brothers and became vengeful until the ending scene when Kenai gets turn back into a human.
Koda is very much like Anna, because they're both optimistic. It wasn't until that he found out the truth that Kenai...

Disney Princess movies deserves more weddings
Disney Princess movies deserves more weddings
After the article of wedding gowns for DPs, it got me thinking as to how would each princess get married, what would be the theme of the wedding and so on. I love weddings! So, I have thought of theme based weddings for all princesses. Hope you enjoy this. This part talks about only classic princesses.

Snow: The Enchanted Woods
After all the life and death crisis, I think a private forest wedding ceremony, just between the prince(and his close family) and the dwarfs would be a harmonious affair. After all, this is where she found her life back and the family she's ever known. And being her,...

My 2nd Valentine's Day themed article and this time it's about my top 10 most romantic DP Movie Moments, hope you'll like this article

10. Pocahontas & John Smith shares their first kiss

This was a risky move considering what happened afterwards and considering that they didn't get as much privacy as they wanted, but wow, this scene is so beautiful and romantic, the music is amazing here and the kiss is quite passionate

9. Eric shows Ariel his kingdom

I feel like one of few who doesn't find the boat ride scene to be romantic, it's more of a silly scene and the song isn't even romantic...

Hello everyone!
I'm ezilo25 and this is my very first article on this site! I wanted to do something special, and since I have read the Grimms Tale in German my whole life, I wanted to do a comparison of disney movie adaptations and the Tales of Grimm. So, let's get started! Oh, and excuse me if I do grammatical
mistakes, I'm french, so please forgive me!

Cinderella

Oh, Cinderelli... I adore the Disney character, I am passionate about the animation movie, but I am in love with Aschenputtel, the Grimms version of the Cinderella. Yes, I know, the movie is inspired by the Perrault version, which...

I posted this on the Frizen fan club while back and now I'm posting it here.

Everyone on here that knows pretty much knows how much I love Anna and despise Elsa. I mean, I certainly like Elsa more than I did when I joined in July, but I really hated her when I joined. So that's not saying much.

Right now, Elsa is twelfth place on my Disney Princesses as opposed to thirteenth place like she was when I first joined, while Anna made it to the top, instead of second place. So, both have moved up on my list, but Anna is still way in front of Elsa on my list.

It may not come as a surprise, since Elsa...

Who doesn't love travel?

Well, I mean, I'm sure there are people who, beyond my comprehension, don't enjoy exploring other parts of the big wide world. But I love travel. And I'm sure the Princesses would too. So here are the places the Disney Princesses would enjoy vacationing to. *Disclaimer: I have never been to these cities, so if I sound stupid, have mercy! I got most of my information from the internet.*

Snow White: Glorenza (Glurns), Italy

Snow White would love to visit this tiny town in northern Italy, near the border with Switzerland. Since it is so small, with a population of only...

I did say I was going to write Christmas related articles here, but I've been wanting to write this one for a while, but I've been putting it off because I thought that pretty much everyone had the same list, but after thinking about it some parts of the list can variate from person to person though I believe that most of you will agree with my top 5. Anyway this was by far the hardest list I've ever written, the top 5 where settled in stone, but the rest where really hard to place. I based this on many aspects, but mostly on if the princess has both her parents alive, one parent alive or is...

The polls are finished and the results are in! Who is the most frightening villain of them all? Here are the rankings of the main villains from each Disney Princess film, according to the Disney Princess Fanpop Club! Thank you to everyone who voted as well as everyone who left comments! Some of your comments are shown more than once, if they applied to more than one villain. I hope you guys enjoy this and can't wait to hear what you guys think overall! :D (P.S. This is the club's rankings. For those of you who are interested in link)

I'm sorry but I disagree with each side. I mean I agree with each side but I don't. I think both sides of the argument are taking things way too far, and it doesn't need to.

Frozen fans need to just accept that not everyone likes this movie and Frozen haters need to learn that they are being just as rude as the Frozen fans and they just need to stop.

Both sides really need to stop because they're ruining this movie for me. They already ruined Elsa for me, and soon, I'll hate the whole thing, even Anna, who's my favorite DP.

Honorary Mention: Cinderella's Father
Honorary Mention: Cinderella's Father
Okay so I basically grew up without parents in a large sense. That being said, I always yearned for a loving, stable and consistent mother and father to teach morals, values, effective and constructive communication, consequences for actions, real love, respect, trust, honor, etc. Since Walt Disney founded the company under those family and character-based values, I have always been very attached to the Disney brand. That being said, I was thinking about the Disney Princesses' parents and if I could have traded my childhood situation with one of them, which would it be? Since I also love lists...
