Many people think Mulan (the movie) has the best quotes of all princess movie, that and the fact it is Mulan month gave me idea to start such countdown. In the beginning, there were about 70 quotes I thought are important , I included about 40 in countdown and here are the best ten.

Out of these ten:
2 are from Shang
2 are from Fa Zhou
2 are from Emperor
and 4 are from Mulan

10. "Ping, you are the craziest man I've ever met, and for that I owe you my life. From now on, you have my trust" by Shang

This is said after Mulan saved Shang and finally earned honor and respect for her deeds. However she gets wounded and we pretty soon forget about it. People don't find it very memorable and meaningful, and that's why it's only 10th

9. "Maybe I just wanted to look in the mirror and see someone worthwhile... But I was wrong... I see nothing!" by Mulan

It's the moment when Mulan realizes that maybe her love for father wasn't main motive why she left. She admits she did it for herself, to once do things right, however she is disapointed because she failed again. Some people barely remeber that this quote was in the movie, so it didn't got any further.

8 "Now I see, that if I were truly to be myself, I would break my family's heart"by Mulan

There are people that love song "Reflection", and there are people who don't. The same case is with this quote. Some people think it's pretty, while some consider it bland and generic

7."Why is my reflection someone I don't know?" by Mulan

Pretty much the same thing like for previous quote. However, this one is little deeper, showing how frustrated Mulan was about not being able to express her emotions and thoughts, havin to hide the real herself.

6. "You said you trust Ping! Why is Mulan any different?" by Mulan

Mulan really gets to the point with this line. Really Shang? Why is Mulan any different than Ping? To leave his hurt feelings and pride aside, users who commented stated they love this line, but they just love next five better.

5.My, my, what beautiful blossoms we have this year. But look, this one's late! I bet when it blooms, it will be most beautiful of all" by Fa Zhou

This one really cute father-daughter scene. Mulan is , afraid that she dishonored whole family, and than Fa Zhou comes and comforts her this this simple, but pretty statement.

4."We must be swift as the coursing river, with all the force of a great typhoon, with all the strentgh of a raging fire, mysterious as the dark side of a moon" by Shang

Alomst everyone likes this song, so naturally, people love the lyrics too. This song is very cheerful and encouraging, so no wonder it got so far.

3." You don't meet a girl like that every dynasty."by the Emperor

After all the wise things Emperor said, he decided to randomly put a wise joke. Oh well, it really describes Mulan perfectly. Still people consider it typically Chinese and a bit bland.

2."The flower that blooms in adversity is the most rare and beautiful of all." by the Emperor

Pretty much variation of Fa Zhou's quote. Another piece of Emperor's wisdom, which serves to describe Mulan as someone rare and unique. I think this and 3rd quote are great, but said one after another sound redundant.

1."The greatest gift and honor is having you for a daughter"by Fa Zhou

And, I wasn't really surprised that this line won. People generally like it. It's a really beautiful moment, when Fa Zhou shows that he doesn't care about anything and anyone but his daughter.

Party Time!!
Party Time!!
Since Halloween is coming, I'll write down some of the princesses favourite Halloween films.

1. Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera

I love this movie and I think it would be perfect for a Halloween party gathering for the princess together! It's about Erik, a deformed man living at the Opera House in Paris and needs love. Christine Daae, fell into a love triangle between Erik and Raoul, Vicomte De Chagny.

2. Stephen King's Rose Red

The spookiness in this miniseries is the best EVER! I love Stephen King because he's very original with his story, it's base on a mansion in Seattle.

Ella and Kit.
Ella and Kit.
Hi guys, I will be writing 2 of my favourite Disney remake that were make into a live action reboot. I will write down on which of these 2 are my favourites, as well as how they inspired me.

Cinderella (2015)

One of the things I really like about this reboot of the 1950 classic, was that it teaches us to have faith and be kind. We also get to see how Ella manages to stand against her stepmother unlike her animated version, she also meets the prince before meeting him during the ball.

Beauty and the Beast (2017)

Like Cinderella, Belle has more screen-time including the Beast/ Prince Adam. Belle...

(this is just my personal opinion and experience)

so let's not get carried away and count down a few reasons why merida is TOTTALY AWESOME

Hello Carrie!!!
Hello Carrie!!!
Hi guys, I have been a fan of Carrie Underwood from the day she auditioned on American Idol in 2005. So, here are my choice for which songs from her are going to be the DP's favourites.

1. Just a Dream

This song suits Snow White and Princess Aurora, because they sleep for the majority of their respective films.

2. Good Girl

Since Ella has been trying her best to be a good girl to both her stepmother and her stepsisters, this upbeat song makes Ella wants to dance too!

3. Something in the Water

Okay, I know that this song is very religious, but it also answers Ariel's prayers about uniting both...

Loving the cast!
Loving the cast!
Hi guys, I posted about these 2 songs on the Beauty and the Beast fanpage and now. Here are my thoughts on why the former has more meaning than the latter.

Strong Meaning

When Terrence Mann sang this on the Original Broadway cast, I cried my heart out because the beast voiced out his remorseful feelings for chasing Belle out of the West Wing. In fact, the song should also be in the 2017 version because the beast felt no remorse shortly chasing Belle out.

Dramatic Ending

Upon listening to Alan Menken's rendition, I was blown away from his performance and I personally wish that Dan Stevens would sing this song for the film, I'm dying to hear his version!

If I Can't Love Her

So, here are my two reasons on why I love the song, do tell me on what do you think and do you think that it should part of the film?

Ready to meet your live-action counterparts?
Ready to meet your live-action counterparts?
Hi guys, since I had watch 3 reboots of their respective Disney classics. Here are my opinions on which is better, the animated or the live-action version?

Maleficent

Okay, as mentioned, this film left me disturbed for a number of reasons. The first was how they make King Stefan turn into the dark side, whereas in Sleeping Beauty. He is not like that at all! (1959 Version)
Sadly, Aurora gets less screen-time like her animated counterpart. But, she's more bubbly like Snow White! So I would say that I admire both the animated and live-action Princess Aurora. (tied)

Cinderella

I was very happy...

Tale as Old as Time
Tale as Old as Time
Hi guys, I managed to see the 2017 reboot of Beauty and the Beast despite the initial boycott over the alleged gay moment for the Malaysian release, as I promise here is my review on the awesome classic!

The Story-Line

While the majority of the film is the same, I was very happy with a number of changes. Like we get to know more about Belle's and the Beast/ Prince Adam's backstory. To which I will write more about in another article soon. Speaking of the Enchantress, I always thought that it is the Fairy Godmother from Cinderella!
The Prologue gives more details than the 1991 version, which...

I finally saw the 2014 Beauty and the Beast and I really loved it despite bad critical reception. Let's start with the costumes and visuals.

Costumes and Visuals
The costumes are stunning! Each of Belle's dresses are so beautiful, and blow the 2017 Belle's wardrobe right out of the water. What I loved is how the film is set in Victorian times so the normal costumes are very drab and gray but the castle was set in the (16th/17?) century before the curse hit so the costumes are from that era which happens to be my favorite era fashion-wise. Belle's ivory dress is my favorite and she looks like...
