Walt Disney Images - Princess Ariel

Another fun idea that came to mind, we take two princesses see just how much they have in common. I wanted Pocahontas and Rapunzel first because Punz is a pretty good balance of qualities found in the classic, renaissance and revival princesses so it's easy to do this with her. Plus, it's a very common misconception that Poca is just this peaceful spiritual wise soul, and that's only half of her personality. PrincessAyeka12 gave me the fabulous idea of coming up with what books and authors each princess would like to read. We already know that Belle's a bookworm, but what would the other princesses spend hours flipping through, totally lost to the outside world? I had a lot of fun with this article, since I love reading. I've read at least one book from most of these authors, although not all of them. All credit for this idea goes to PrincessAyeka12! 13. Rapunzel tower dress:
It's the most generic dress i could have imagined for a princess, purplish pink, with motives and stripes and criss-cross stitching, like the designer was sort of confused as to which design to follow, and put them all in one. I'm not a fan of puffy sleeves either, and why there's this stripes on them, really off-putting. They could have done better with the color and design. Only good thing about the dress is its silhouette, very modest and flattering. I don't know if it suits her personality...

So I never really got to experience much of fashion-culture growing up and have just recently begun to give it any focus or attention. I have heard of the rule that "Redheads shouldn't wear pink." and I have seen some people discuss this here on FanPop in terms of Ariel and her pink dress. So I really, really, really love the Disney Princess dance sequences, particularly with the waltz, as I find it to be so sweepingly romantic! The animation of the dance, the way the dress twirls with the women, the romantic and powerful score in the background, the gorgeous scenery in the background and the usually gorgeous dress worn by the princess... I love everything about these sequences! That's not to mention the show of romantic love developing. I am very much an old soul so I really love the process of "courting" which often included the man taking the woman out to dance or dancing...

For my first article, I decided to start with a light, fluffy topic! Kidding, of course, but I think this is a rather crucial topic that needs to be discussed.
