*RAYA AND THE LAST DRAGON*

Remember those great romantic moments that were imbued with pure Disney magic and have since become timeless keepsakes: how we got to experience love at 1st sight with Cinderella as she waltzed away with Prince Charming into a blessed starry nightscape; the anticipation we held on to when Prince Eric leaned in to kiss Ariel as they floated along a spellbinding lagoon; the way Lady's eyes gleamed under the Bella Notte as Tramp gazed into them over a candlelit spaghetti dinner for two; how our breathes were taken as Eugene finally saw Rapunzel surrounded by the lanterns of her dreams on Corona's...

One of my favorite things about Disney is the art of animation. It's what keeps me loving Disney even into my adult years. It's also much easier for me to rank animation than it is to rank movies or princesses.

Warning: I am VERY picky, and obviously the animators can animate much better than I can with my judgy critique.

1. Cinderella
Cinderella, Pocahontas and Sleeping Beauty are definitely my top three favorite animation. My number one was Sleeping Beauty or Pocahontas but then I decided that I like Cinderella the best.

There are seven dwarfs in Snow White and seven children in The Sound of Music. In honor of POTM, I thought I'd pair the seven children (and Maria) from The Sound of Music with Disney Princesses and the seven dwarves.

Maria - Snow White
- Maria has seven children and Snow White has seven dwarfs
- Short hair
- Firm but kind
- Love to sing and dance
- Have a song about optimism "I Have Confidence" and "With a Smile and a Song"
- Pray at bedtime, Maria for the seven children and Snow White for the seven dwarves
