Disney Princess Does anybody find it hilarious how the Emperor just walked away when Shan Yu tried to kill him, and Shang saved him (video link in comments)?

Lol, If you know the story of Oliver Twist (if not spoiler), you know that Nacy dies, right? Well I saw on youtube a theatrical version of the story and when Nancy is killed by Bill, Oliver just sort of walks away, lol.

Why doesn't Shang go after Mulan and help her? Why does he just run away down the stairs and leave Mulan to her own defenses?

Doesn't seem like the Shang I know....at all!
