I am new to this community and I am glad I found it.
My name is Luxa. I am 18 years old. I love all things Disney and of course love the disney princesses. Also my fave princess is Aurora. She is just so graceful and romantic and I strive to be as kind as she is.
So um hope to meet many princess fans here.

¡It's children's day here in Mexico! Hehe, I know I'm a bit old to celebrate it, but I still feel like a kid in many ways :P, so anyway... ¡Yei! I think the best way to celebrate is with a Disney movie marathon... I think I'll start with The Little Mermaid, then Beauty and the Beast and then I'll choose between Snow White, The Lion King, Cinderella or Sleeping Beauty :)

You upload the images in the images section, then place the code [img# horiz-align size] where you want to place the image in the articleover a year ago
First, you go to insert images. You insert them all as bottom images. In the article, you put the code for the image where you want it in the article. First you put the image number (e.g. img1,) then where you want it (right, center, left,) then the size (small, medium, large.) Hope that helps!over a year ago

Watching Cinderella on ABC Family right now, and I'm glad to say I don't hate it any more. Still easily my least favorite, but I don't hate it. Maybe it's because I've been doing other things while watching it and there are regular commercial breaks :)

I have just meet a family that hasn't seen a single Disney movie because they're 'sinful'. I pity their children a lot. We have nothing to talk about really because all they see are war movies which I don't get why those and why not Disney?
Posted over a year ago
Wow, that is something. My friend always jokes about it being illuminati and all of that, and when he sees me reading reviews and videos, he's like "You're going to be possessed". Whatever. I really want to know how they are sinfulover a year ago
Truth is, my parents are like that. :'( Thats why I don't tell them about my love/passion for Disney. I basically have to hide what I love the most. Basically, they are against all movies. Weird enough, I have always been allowed to play video games. :|over a year ago
i hate parents like that, utter idiots in my opinion. if it's by chance that your kids haven't seen Disney movies, fair enough, but not allowing them to watch them because they're "sinful" wtf, let your kids decide for themselves what they like and stop sheltering them because sheltering them is a detriment to the child and is not going to help them. it's not like they're decapitating people's heads on Grand Theft Auto or something, good grief it's a Disney movie and all/most Disney movies have strong messages to teach and great characters for kids to look up to. sheltering your kids will damage them, watching Disney movies won't.over a year ago
I'm in the minority that actually hates that movie. Definitely the worst part of the movie is the character Peter Pan himself. He's so annoying and I want to stab him repeatably and that's coming from someone who loves kids. I much prefer the sequel by MILES!over a year ago
^ I like the movie, but I hate the character Peter Pan. He is the most obnoxious, cocky, arrogant character Disney has ever created, and I always hope that Captain Hook kills him and chops him into piecesover a year ago

Guys guess what? I don't know if it was ever officially confirmed by Disney BUT- in recent merchandise and books ( what little there is of him and Belle) when there is a new little short story or today at Toysrus- I saw a Belle and Prince Adam doll, - the box actually says now "Prince Adam". As do the books, some of them . So his name according to Disney Merchandise, which is from Disney- is officially " Adam". COOL. I always thought, he couldn't Prince Beast-LOL

So I have good news and okay news. The Good News is. I SAVED MY FAMILY FROM GOING TO THE DARK SIDE!!! *Fireworks* Disney movie that saved them The Fox and the Hound. Okay news. I saw Rise of the Guardian last night, why is this okay? Because if it was in the Oscar running, it would have total beat the crap out of the other animated movies. Disney better watch their back, Dreamworks is on the rise.
Posted over a year ago
Rise of The Guardians is MUCH better than Brave and Wreck-It Ralph. Brave is just okay and Wreck-It Ralph is good but Rise of The Guardians makes them both look like RUBBISH and and sh*t!over a year ago
YAY for Fox and the Hound! It's amazing and very underrated! I only saw the first few minutes of RotG then got interrupted. I can't judge the movie from the beginning, though.over a year ago
Great news about Fox and the Hound saving your family :) Disney has to step it up, they are the pioneers of animated films, they can't be left behind...over a year ago
The only thing that bugged me about that movie is their hair technology...I'm so spoiled by brave and tangled, dreamworks needs to catch up, technology wise....over a year ago
PIXAR is overrated. HATE BRAVE> yuck. Both are getting on my nerves. And other peoples around the net. I even typed in "Pixar overrated" and got several articles. Anyway. I LOVE Wreck it Ralph and ROTG, I own Both. Very Good movies. Oscars this year must have been rigged. I swear. "Fox and the Hound" makes me cry, so does "When you're the best of friends" song. I MISS 2D animation DISNEY!!!!!!!!! and the original titles of things. NOT "Frozen" or "Tangled"over a year ago
I agree with you except even if Rise of the Guardians *was* nominated, it still would have been beaten by Brave unfortunately, because Wreck-It Ralph couldn't even beat Brave and Wreck-It Ralph would have beat Rise of the Guardians so yeah... but it's a shame, because I think both movies are better quality than Braveover a year ago
Fox and the Hound is great :) Really touching and memorable. Unfortunately, I have to disagree with you guys about RotG. It's a great movie, but it's horrible pacing and shaky storyline are what kept it out of the running for the Oscars in the first place, and we all know the Academy are huge Pixar fanboys. Brave would've won no matter what :/over a year ago
DIsney obviously just wants to get it over with I mean didn't they announce Rapunzel's like months ahead of time, and for Merida they announce it 2 weeks before.over a year ago
I just finished watching two movies from the same company and by the same director, Anastasia and for the first time Titan A.E. and they're both quite ironic. First of all I absolutely love Anastasia as always, kind of ironic the movie that's considered Don Bluth's best movie and 20th Century Fox actually had a movie comparable to the Disney was kind of a Disney ripoff, but I actually love it. It's one of my all time favorite movies, not just animated but of ALL movies.
Posted over a year ago
As for Titan A.E. I heard people say it was really good and other people say it was the end of Don Bluth's career, which it was since he hasn't made a movie sense. Anyway I found the movie quite dull and boring, it had too many action scenes(I love action but not too much of it), little to no slow or emotional moments, characters that are either dull and boring or just irritating, the story of that whole Apocalypse style thing just isn't my style, the villain was lame and irritating, and it's just so boring. However it's not bad but it's not good either, I'm just neutral about it. Kind of ironic that Anastasia was the movie that made Don Bluth's career the best it's been for a while and actually made a movie people thought was comparable to Disney, in fact people actually mistake it for Disney. 20th Century Fox actually made a movie that made them a SERIOUS competitor and threat to Disney.over a year ago
So I finally watched Wreck-It Ralph. I enjoyed it! It's so clever, unique & well put together. I think I would have preferred it slightly more if they traveled through numerous different games though, instead of staying for the majority of the movie in Sugar Rush, but otherwise I liked it a lot. I think it's better than most of Pixar's recent movies, but that's just me. Oh and King Candy reminded me a lot of Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland, haha. :)
Posted over a year ago
I'm glad you like it. I think they should have travelled more games as well. I still can't believe Brave beat it at the Oscars, even though it is not as horrible as people make it out to beover a year ago
^^ I have never watched RotG, but I have heard good things about it. I only like a few Dreamworks movies though. ^ It is to me as well. Is the sequel confirmed?over a year ago
There's a sequel?! Yay! I'm not usually big on sequels (especially since they're churning them out by the second recently), but there's so many possibilities with Wreck-It Ralph, I'm looking forward to it!over a year ago
Wreck it Ralph definitely lived up to and even exceeded my expectations contrary to certain other newly released films (i.e Brave, PaTF. I love both to an extent but neither came off as particulary engaging, thought provoking or inspiring to the same extent as Disney classic and renaissance movies were). The character driven plot structure worked incredibly well and poignantly addressed a handful of relevant and immensely important issues such as societal prejudices, bullying, unwarranted judgment, etc. The movie could have been more suspenseful but overall it's remarkably constructed and exposes the audience to uplifting, emotionally strong fictional material and relatable characters.over a year ago
I know I may not be the only one that feels this way, but I feel like people are just liking the new princesses for a bit then moving onto the next one. When Tiana came out all the little girls thought she was the greatest thing, then Rapunzel came out and everyone forgot about Tiana, now Merida came out and the little girls forget about Rapunzel, I have a feeling that when Anna comes out everyone is going to forget about Merida. Anyone else feel this way?
Posted over a year ago
tbh I have not met one little girl who has had Merida as her favorite princess, yes some have her mechandise but that's only because she is the 'main merchandise' at the moment. Most little girls favorites now are Rapunzel, Cinderella and Belle with the occasional Ariel and Jasmine heheover a year ago
I met many little girls who has Merida as their favourite. I agree with princecatcher93, I saw it too. Still, even now, when Rapunzel, Merida and Anna are marketed and popular, the previous princesses like Cinderella, Ariel and Belle are pretty know by children. Now I think about Tiana and Merida, and maybe even Rapunzel no one will remember in the future.over a year ago
I remember and knew them all growing up and as long as their in the line, they will be remembered...the ones that really get forgotten are kida, Jane, Giselle, ones nt in the line...Pocahontas and Mulan a bit cuz they appear less in mechandise but I still see them...and they appear less from being less popular butover a year ago
Tiana, Rapunzel, and Merida will be in the merchandise for years, because of the fact that they were new. Tiana was the first princess to be created after the franchise was born, so the new ones will always get merchandise. Jasmine is not really popular anymore, and Snow White and Ariel are taken off of some merchandise, if there are only room for 4. Belle, Cinderella, and Aurora ae in 99% of the merchandise, so they are set. Tiana is not one of the most popular, but she is more popular than Jasmine, Pocahontas and Mulan. Rapunzel is extremely popular, and is in allot of the merchandise. Pocahontas and Mulan... we all know the scenario with them. I remember that when PatF, a lot of people were in the hype about the film, but then Tangled came out, and the hype for Tangled took place, and PatF was forgotten (at least on Fanpop). I do know that all three are pretty popular with little girls. There was never really a hype for Brave thoughover a year ago
Well where I'm from there's a big Brave hype. Just like there was a big Tangled Hype, then again in my hometown no one understands Disney like I do.over a year ago
I agree with you, but I don't think there's as much hype for Brave/Merida as there was for Tangled/Rapunzel- the Tangled hype was through the roofover a year ago
Disney pays the most attention to the new princess, so it's most likely little girls are going to like the most hyped princess. Kids are just like that. Not looking forward to the Frozen hyped personally.over a year ago
Little kids change their favorites all the time, but everyone has their favorite. I love the princesses, but a certain princess will always be that child's favoriteover a year ago
I think this is about place, country... In my country there is huge Merida hype, I think bigger than Rapunzel. Still, in my country Pocahontas is very popular princess. But i remember when I reading some article with man who working at Disney Store, and he says that "there is a very huge Merida success and they didn't expecting it, and little girls liking her even more than Rapunzel". But it was when Brave debut, so it's obvious that children then enjoyed it more than Tangled.over a year ago
^ Yes, that is definitely a good point. At the moment in my country the most popular princesses are Tiana, Rapunzel and Merida and their merchandise is being sold like hot pies seeing as the new generation of kids feels more connecte to them than to older princessess in addition to being able to watch all three movies in theatres and setting up a goal to acquire all the related merchandise regardless of their parents' finanfical abilities. Brave hype is excessive though and in my opinion, as much as engaging and emotional the movie ended up being, it is way too overrated considering a relatively average plot, profound amount of flaws and the lack of convincing character development. Tangled was immensely popular and still is because it exposed the audience to a whole new dimention of CGI animation while in many ways coming back to basics and investing in Disney's most prominent and inspiring traditions thus giving off a "classic Disney vibe".over a year ago
I didn't expected this to ever happen, but I'm starting to love Rapunzel more than I've done, I used to love her so much after I first saw the movie, but now that love is starting to come back because I've noticed how much I can relate to her and her voice reminds me of my own, she's now in my top 5 and no, I haven't seen the movie, I've read a couple of articles here which made me change my mind.
Posted over a year ago
She was my 7th before and I did love her even then, but not as much as I do now, another possible change is that Mulan might be my 6th favorite, again because of how much I can relate to her especially now because I have so much to do in school, I'm graduating from high school this year so of course I have to work very hard, I want to make my parents proud, but it doesn't work. Like with Rapunzel I haven't rewatched the movie, it's once again a couple of articles that made me change my mindover a year ago
^ yeah, if anything Rapunzel is overrated imo, but @sweetie-94, it's nice that you're taking more of a liking to her, i like her more than i used to as well. :)over a year ago
I would say Rapunzel doesn't get nearly as much appreciation here on Fanpop as she does outside of it therefore it might seem as though she is underrated on this particular spot, especially in comparision to infinitely lasting Belle and Ariel hype. But regardless, as a bit Rapunzel/Tangled fan it's incredibly flattering for me to learn that other people start perceiving her as more appealing and likeable.over a year ago
Here are my confessions: 1) Queen Leah is prettier than Aurora 2) I love Brave and Merida. I think ppl hating on her are biased 3) I think Aurora is pointless 4)I don't like Jasmine's body 5) I hate it when the princesses have huge eyes
Posted over a year ago
Personally I think Leah is plain, than Brave/Merida deserve a lot of the hate they get, that Aurora's an amazing character, and that the princesses huge eyes are part of their design. agree about Jasmine's body though, but I love that she has hips.over a year ago
No it's not! Just because her hips are big, it's not like Kim's. Kim is a fat cow, but lets not talk about her. This is about the Disney princessesover a year ago
If you looke as Jasmine she actually has relatively small hips, it's just when you compare her to the other princesses her hips look a little bigover a year ago

Wait are they serious about the whole "This event is strictly invitation only"? Because I was planning on printing this out and putting it in my cousins mailbox and addressing it to her so she thinks that she was invited to a princess ball! I know the chances of her actually going are low since we just went like 2 weeks ago but is that a real thing? and if it is how do you get an invitation?over a year ago
If it is not invitation only, deifnitely go. Save up the amoun t of money you can, and especially since Merida is your favourite, this is an opportunity you wound not want to miss.over a year ago
I think you should go on the ceremony day and ask one of the employees. There's a positive chance they'll say that there's no weird invitation thing. I think it's just a print-out for kids of friends. Lucky you, you get to live in Orlando. Always wanted to be there- sadly- I'M NOT! DX But if I were you, i'd attend. The 11th princess, we don't know her face character. She might be spot on.over a year ago
I didn't know they re-designed the princesses for marketing O_o
Some of them (Ariel, Snow White, Tiana) look pretty, some of them look nice but barely look like the character in the movie, and some are just plain weird! Why do they have to market them this way? Why can't they have the princesses look like they did in their movies (they're all so beautiful) or at least stick to the original design.

It's the same reason for all the glitter and why we don't see Mulan and Pocahontas...it sells better, whether we like it or not, Disney obeys their target audience: girls 3 to 6 years old, and statistics show that little girls buy mechandise with glitter and the more popular princesses (ariel and Cinderella rather than Mulan or jasmine) generally speaking of course....disney doesn't care about the opinions of the Internet, they care about salesover a year ago
That's one of the main reasons Merida is getting added to the line, not whether she has a song or a prince, it's Merida's huge mechandise success....little girls love her, so she's getting addedover a year ago
It is so true. And because there have been newer princess, others get tossed aside. Everything that involves the merchandising of these movies are populairty+sales=promotion. Thuis formula does not apply to the franchise, but to everything they do. It is about which character and movie is more marketable. I have cousins, and they like all that glitterover a year ago

Not one of my favourites, but I'm glad I watched it. It's sad that it gave Disney a reason to give up Traditional Animation

It is definitely better than Atlantis. I think it flopped because of the bad marketing, it being released in November (I think it should have been released in Summer 03), and the fact that Disney was releasing bad films that were completely different than their usual fare. I just completed watching Beauty and the Beast for the 35th time! And I found it amazing as usual!Belle's my favorite DP now (well earlier also she was my favorite only!) but now she's my favorite favorite favorite and the BEST DP ever!

Everyone heard about upcoming Disney movie "Labyrinth"? This is a live-action probably, and I will never believe in that, but you should know that there is another rumor now, because "Labyrinth" main character is a princess and now according to Ache Belem, when a script will be ready and there will be some concepts Disney will considered her as a new Disney Princess. Ech... Someone believe in that?

Um that movie came out in 1986 and was made by Jim Henson and was awesome! Are they making a remake? I hope not, David Bowie was awesome as the Goblin King and there would be no Princess...she was just a girl and there was not really a love story..."you remind me of the babe. what babe? The babe with the Power. What Power? The power of VooDoo.What do? You Do!" I was about 6 or 7 when I saw it!over a year ago
It's not gonna be remaking the 1986 film, but it'll be similar, and none of the articles I read said nothing about her being a Disney Princessover a year ago
I found an article or two as well and it sounds like a reboot and very different, which is great..I would hate for such a classic to be redone...It is my favorite film from my childhood!over a year ago
directed by Jim Henson and produced by George Lucas The conceptual designs by Brian Froud (his baby was Toby...he met Toby's mother (his wife) on the set of The Dark Crystal...another Jim Henson Movie) I love the mixture of Puppets and live Action and the music is awesome (LOVE David Bowie!)over a year ago

I'll miss her too. She was extremely nice to me when I first joined this club. I went on her account and it just took me to the home page. She deactivated her account?over a year ago
@Jayden-G, yeah, when you click on someone's username and it directs you to the homepage instead, it means the user is either banned or deactivates their account. Though I'm not sure if it's deactivated forever because I've never deacticated before- like I don't know if they're able to activate it again whenever they want or if they have to create a whole new account to use fanpop againover a year ago
So I heard some Little Mix songs and all I can say is that their songs are VERY generic and I heard songs with similar sounds before. They are also hideous, especially Jesy. Just because I call someone ugly, doesn't mean I hate them. I'm just saying that they are ugly except for Perrie, she's okay. Overall I don't care about Little Mix, but there are more things I dislike than like.

I usually don't judge singers how they look, there's actually a lot of unattractive singers I listen to, but their appearance really bugs meover a year ago
Aw. You hate Little Mix? :(( I love their song like How Ya Doin'? and Wings..I love Perrie especially Jade. Jade is my favorite then Perrie. I know them because of One Direction. I think One Direction make them famous.over a year ago

Yeah- I think I like Belle more while I'm watching Beauty and the Beast than I like her looking back on it later. I'm definitely surprised with how much I like her every time I watch it!over a year ago
I guess so. It was much more explicit and seemed like a Shane Dawson parody. I don't miss Gangnam Style one bit. I liked it at first, but didn't dance it at school or anything. They'd play it EVERY TIME in class. They couldn't even do it properly, and they praised the kid who knew Mandarin and said the song is about the Korean lifestyle. If it wasn't for my awesomeness- i would've choked them right there.over a year ago
I know Merida's coronation hasn't happened yet, but why does the German official Disney Princess website already have Merida included and not the American site?
Posted over a year ago
Because this is not official german site of Disney Princess. This is just a website for contest "Princess of the month" for magazine, and Merida is included in magazine from March, so they add her. But she still is missing at the official sites, she will be included in May.over a year ago
I don't know...its got the disney princess franchise label all over it, there's even a disney princess commercial where a little girl dressed as merida shoots arrows (the disney princess label clear at the end of the commercial) I think you might be in denial xDover a year ago
@connor3- Just because it's not the actual official site, it's official for Germany. Disney is worldwide- if it's not an official site then what do you expect it to be? There's no other excuse..over a year ago
OMG, you just don't uderstand me xd THIS IS OFFICIAL SITE by Disney and THIS IS OFFICIAL SITE FOR THIS CONTEST. But this is not official site for the DP-line-up. It's like a "bonus" to official site. For example, you can't say that disneystore.com is official site of Disney, right? This is site of Disney, but not the main site - Disney.com is.over a year ago
So because Merida is in this contest, she is on that site. But she still isn't official princess, so she is not on the official/main site of Disney Princess yet.over a year ago
Okay I need some advice about something. For years I've been saying that I'm not going to prom because I think it's lame and stupid. Plus I'm just really socially awkward and not very good at parties or dances. Plus I hate getting dressed up in some stupid suit. However for some reason today I think maybe I should but at the same time I think I shouldn't. What do you guys think?
Posted over a year ago
The only time I've ever been asked to a dance was prom nite senior year, I went with a sophomore. It was a nice time but I've never been asked to a dance once because nobody liked meover a year ago
I know my opinion won't mean anything but seriously go! I was soo scared to go to my prom because of my 'social awkwardness' and missed it and it was the biggest mistake of my life! Which is why I'm taking the time to comment I was even asked by one of the most popular guys in my year but still turned him down & said I wasn't going. I was the only girl who didn't go along with another girl who was a bigger mess than me and probably would have gotten abused there anyway. But seriously go, I don't even know you but I'd go with you but mainly so I could experience it :Lover a year ago
I know this is a stupid question to ask, by how do you move the picture from the bottom of the article to beside the description? I tried the code in the side of the Create an Article , but the pictures still appeared in the bottom. Can somebody please help?
Posted over a year ago
If you wanted your first image to be in the center and at medium size, you would put (without the speech marks) "[img1 center medium]" in your article, just do this same thing for each image, like img2 for the 2nd image, img3 for the 3rd, etc... oh and if you want it to be on the left/right just put left or right instead of 'center' and if you want it to be large/small instead of medium, just put large or small insteadover a year ago
Oh and definitely not a stupid question - it can be confusing. Basically just take out the > and the < from the 'formatting tips' shown at the side of when you create an article. hope I helped!over a year ago

Does anyone else find it ironic that Cinderella's face characters colours are really close to movie accurate (darker blonde and silvery blue gown) while the marketing look the face character is based on looks completely wrong?

Not really. The Disney World at France definitely has the best face characters, but in Google images and all the videos on Youtube have a Cinderella with a baby blue dress and nice tanned blonde hair.over a year ago
I'm so happy! I ordered the Anniversary Edition Pocahontas DVD that includes "If I Never Knew You" as a part of the film, and it finally arrived yesterday! I've wanted this since around 2006 and I can't believe I actually own it at last! I'll watch the extended version for the very first time soon; I also can't wait to watch the directors' commentary. I wish more of my friends were dinsey fans, everyone keeps acting like disney is for babies. It's all the stupid franchise's fault, they make disney look so lame.
Posted over a year ago
I know, but I don't think it's the franchises fault. That's what I thought before, now they're taking away the magic and changing the Disney Princesses and everything. They make everything so cornY in the humour world, but now there are ACTUALLY doing it. What I mean is- in all those 9Gag posts yous see people saying in a typical Disney movie somebody bursts into a song every 15 seconds. Then there's Pixar- cute and realistic. Now they are just bringing the 2 worlds together and embracing the cheeziness. WHY?! My friends love Disney and hate it at the same time- too ashamed to admit it. Can't say I blame them, I would be if I looked at those Disney fashioned prom dresses.over a year ago
^ Yeah, that just reminded me of something I saw a while ago that REALLY pissed me off - it was picture someone made of the actors who play Harry Potter&Dumbledore standing side-by-side with the actors who play Bellatrix&Voldemort happily smiling and the caption was something like, "This would have been the ending if Disney made Harry Potter" and it's like wtf have you seen any disney movies you absolute idiot half of the villains get freaking murdered in extremely horrible & gruesome ways. it just sticks in my head because i remember 1000s of fellow idiots "liked" the pictureover a year ago
Also, Disney Channel really does not help the situation at all. All of those shows are extremely cheesy, with horrible jokes, have to be about someone that has an atypical life, which most of the time is a melarkeing scheme to make the main star a musician. Also, Disney is just starting to catch up with the other studios. Even though people say it is for little kids, they still watch it. And both WDAS and Pixar are becoming indistinguishable now. Look at last years movies "Brave and Wreck-It Ralph".over a year ago
Eight-one years ago today, Pluto made his film debut. Well, I don't know if this is true or not- but hey; someone has to make a post about him regardless of which Disney club. That person is me. Now, after the post, what do we do? (Lazy me in front of my laptop wondering what I was doing in my life had enough energy to make this post.) Be thankful and say Happy Birthday Pluto, or else a puppy will die each time you ignore this. -Peta

Wow, just rewatched Pocahontas and I'm sitting here crying because of the ending. I'm pathetic, haha. The last scene is just so epic & heartbreaking - one of Disney's best endings, in my opinion, if not the best.

I know I am not as popular or as active as you are but I just want to post my comments here (honestly I am saying this because I feel a little out of place) why am I like this? I am feeling like Fanpop fans even me really changed just for months, currently around 30 fans had joined my countdown and the list has really changed from the last one hoo....
You're not out of place. I feel like that sometimes, even though I have no problem with anyone here. Is 30 comments bad? I'm pretty new and the older fans said that the club was a lot more activeover a year ago

I'm becoming really annoyed with this Merida business....there was still no coronation, nor have I seen any annoncement for one. And yes, there is something written at Wikipedia about one, but the citation link only leads to a Disney calendar announcing a comic with her, and yes, it gets announced in the DP Section, but where else should they put it? I don't get the impression that she is suppose to join. If she were, wouldn't they have announced the event by now? Or did I miss something?
Posted over a year ago
They have announced it in many occasions. I found this when I was searching around on the Internet, and it did not come from Wikipedia. "The Disney Princesses will show off a sparkling new look from January and will kick off new consumer campaigns, the first of which is the Disney Princess Movie Festival for five weeks over February and March at Event, Greater Union and Village Cinemas showing: Cinderella, Pocahontas, Mulan, Princess & The Frog and Tangled. In July, Disney’s newest princess, Brave’s Merida, will have her official Princess coronation and the celebration of Ariel will take product and retail under the sea." I also heard that she is going to be coronated in May. I have seen her on merchandise already, and there would have been news of her not joining. And I originally thought that the coronation was just for show at Disneyland or somethingover a year ago
But has anyone a link from an official Disney site with the announcement? (Her being in the merch is not enough, most of the Disney females turn up there from time to time)over a year ago
No, but it has been confirmed a few times, and she has been in Disney Princess dolls with her in the middle with all of the other princesses saying "The Newest Princess Merida". You are right about it not being on the Disney site and that she isn't one until the coronation happens. To each his ownover a year ago
Bu Swanpride- they'd put Merida in PEZ candy saying that she's the 'official 11th Disney princess' and they don't do that with Tinkerbell's Pez. That's solid proof that if Disney makes her temporary and ignore her again, then it'll be hard for people to ignore it. She's been in the calender, doll sets, she's got a HUGE poster of her new digitally animated 'princess' look. I saw a pic of it. I've already surrendered, and I don't think that Tink and Esme got a coronation... did they?over a year ago
^They dont, but they was in franchise from beginning, just like Snow, Cindy and others, who don't have coronation. Esmeralda was removed very quickly (but she is still in the magazine), and Tinker Bell was removed when they start working on 'Disney Fairies' franchise.over a year ago

Is there anybody that is currently doing a Fanpop's Best Looking Prince and/or Princess?
I know on this club every once in a while, someone writes list like this, but since I joined almost two months ago, the countdown did not happen. Is there a specific person who does the Fanpop Best Looking countdown? Let me know if you would mind me writing it if no one else is, or there is not a specific person who always does the countdown
