Captain Jack Harkness stood at the bar on the beach anywhere on Barcelona - the planet Barcelona. He put his cockteil glass on the desk. It was a strong stuff but tasty. He looked around. Pretty women and handsome men in bathsuits or naked, also alien a la colour were sunbathing, strolling around or chatting.
Near to him sat a grey-brown fured greateared dog with a long, fluffy tail, like a terrestian fox. It sat backside to him. An other dog, a typical Barcelona dog with no-nose came to it, sniffed and, after the foxtail dog snarled, went away.
Suddenly the sitting dog stood up. It went with...

The tears in her eyes are real tears, and still she waits for him to come back. She waits for her love and still just her and the wind on this lonely beach. The tears in her eyes threatening to spill on to her cold cheeks as she took a deep breath. You could see the pain in her eyes as she stood and looked right back into his eyes and could see the same amount of pain and maybe even more.

"Tell me the first sentence you said to me when we came here for the first time ever." Rose said. "Does it really need saying?" the Doctor asked Rose. "Yes, just tell me!" Rose yelled back at him. He walked...

They may have bid farewell to the TV series (for now) but the Tenth and Eleventh Doctors will be back in two new Titan Comics strands

Space and time can be funny things. David Tennant and Matt Smith’s Doctors may have bid farewell to the televisual realm (at least for now) but in the comic book dimension they’re back to have more adventures – and looking pretty cool doing it.

The Tenth and Eleventh Doctors are each set to star in their own new stories from Titan Comics, and while the first instalments are not released until 23 July, you can get a look at the excellent cover art by illustrator...

There are a lot of hate on Rose for her being mentioned so much after series 2 and I honestly do not understand why it annoys people. If you know the Doctor well and watched the first two series of new Who then you shouldn't be so annoyed.

Lets look at the facts. The Doctor met Rose right after the Time War, where he literally lost his home and his people. Although he was a rebel he still was incredibly attached to his home and he lost it. He did not have any anchor left so he was filled with anger and guilt. The first person who actually got under his 'shield' was Rose. He was sad, nothing...

First things first I love river song/melody pond I think she’s freaking badass, funny, beautiful in every way, I even like relationship with the doctor but not on romantic bases but more on friendship bases and I have many reasons I hope someone would read this and see things from my point of view.

Now to all the fans that ship them together everyone has their own opinion to who you really think the doctor was/is really IN LOVE with, but I don’t think the doctor is really in love with river yes he loves her very much but he is NOT in love with her, yes I agree river/melody is very much in...

Doctor Who has a wide range of characters. From villains, monsters, Doctor's, Master's, companions and extras, there's a wide range of men, women, homosexuals, heterosexuals, bisexuals and asexual's in this show and the expanded universe.

The women are what I'm going to be talking about today.

As 90% of the companions in Doctor Who are young women, you can imagine that there are many women to choose from, whether from both the classic series and revival or just one of them. And that's not even including all the "extra" women or the villain women!

So as you can imagine, there's going to be a lot...

After conducting several polls, in several different sites I have decided to do the article on the most beloved companion. In most of the polls I have conducted, whether it is in this site or any other site, the results have always been pretty consistent. Rose Tyler has always topped the polls.

Billie Piper, during 2005 and 2006, won the National Television Award each time she was still in Doctor Who, a vote casted by the public. There has not been any other companion who has won that many National Television Award during their screen time. Freema Agyeman, who portrayed Martha, and Catherine...

Before you ask, yes, I already know who Missy is. This is just two theories I have that involve her.

Theory 1: Gus and the Orient Express

I strongly believe that Missy was behind Gus and the events of the entire episode, "Mummy on the Orient Express".

Here's why:

1. Gus was an AI, as was Seb, Missy's receptionist that she most likely created.

2. Gus wanted to study the Foretold and reverse engineer the technology keeping it "alive". And this technology could very well be similar to what Missy used on her Cybermen army made out of corpses, much like the Foretold!

3. Missy has the TARDIS' phone number...

As he sits at home all he can think about is Rose and how he left her behind. He thinks of all the good times they had together. His eyes burned as he watched another episode of their video diaries. It hurt him to just look at a photo of Rose. "I hope she is happy with where she is right now but I know she is sad. I miss her. I wonder if she missies me too?" She meant so much to the Doctor. She was his day and his night, she was the burning love in his heart. Just the thought of Rose mead the Doctor sad.

"Evere since I met RoseI new we had a special connection like no other companion. I love her...

Rose's POV

Two minutes were all we had to share, to think of things to say.

Two minutes just to say a goodbye that never came because we didn't think it would.

Two minutes to tell him I love him just as I should have long before we ended up here.

Two minutes were two minutes too short to hear him say it.

Two minutes and I'm staring at nothing.

Two minutes and his face is gone forever, no sweet smile, no shiny brown eyes, no beat up old brown suit, nothing.

Two minutes are just a memory now; I'll never see him again.

Two minutes, just two minutes for a broken heart.

The Doctor's POV

Two minutes and I'm...

Ten and Rose have their first proper adventure in 'New Earth'.
Ten and Rose have their first proper adventure in 'New Earth'.
Hello again! As my full Doctor Who series re-run continues in the lead up to the start of series 8, I have now had the privelage to watch the whole of the brilliant series 2 again. So, in continuation from my full series 1 review, I will commence with my series 2 review, showing an episode-by-episode opinion, courtesy of myself.

New Earth
Even though series 2 is one of my favourite series, this is the one episode which lets it down. It was a good starter episode for Ten and Rose, which gave us a taster of the the more fun and human nature to the new Doctor and his quirky relationship with his...

Should there be a female Doctor? Yes, if an actress is the best person who auditions.

Will an actress ever audition, though? Will a showrunner ever audition a woman for the role? That doesn't guarantee them it, for starters. If I may point your attention to the point in time where Paterson Joseph seemed to be the front runner for the Eleventh Doctor, only for the press release to read 'the youngest ever actor' rather than 'the first black actor to play the role'.

While no one running the show is going to ignore an actor because of their skin colour, a woman has yet to be publicly revealed as...

It was movie night in the TARDIS. Rose searched through the Doctor's barely-touched collection of DVDs until she found a movie she hadn't watched in years—Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. She descended the stairs to the theater room, which featured a few couches, a projector, and a big pull-down screen. The Doctor sat on one of the sofas with his arm draped over the cushion. "Find something?" he asked, and she flashed the case toward him. He grinned. "Love that one." She slid the disc into the player and sat down next to him as the projector...

The Eleventh Hour quotes can be found here: link

I compiled these 2 episodes into 1 article because there were only a few key quotes in each episode.

The Beast Below
Amy: What are you going to do?
The Doctor: What I always do. Stay out of trouble...badly.

Mandy: How do you not know about this? Are you Scottish too?
The Doctor: I'm way worse than Scottish. I can't even see the movie. It won't play for me.
Amy: It played for me.
The Doctor: Well the big difference being the computer doesn't accept me as human.
Amy: Why not? You look human.
The Doctor: No, you look Timelord. We came first.

Amy: Have you...

SCENE 1: EXITING THE TARDIS

Begins as a fly-over of earth, then zooming into London, England where the TARDIS appears with the TARDIS landing sound effect. DOCTOR, ROSE, and JACK step out.

DOCTOR
Time travel. Brilliant, isn’t it?

JACK
So where are we this time? (looks around)

ROSE
It’s modern. A lot different than I’m used to, traveling with you, Doctor.

DOCTOR
Yes, quite an adventure (smiles)

JACK
Any reason why we’re here?

DOCTOR, JACK, and ROSE begin walking down the street

DOCTOR
Nope, but I’m sure something will happen. This is Earth; weird things happen every day!

Except saying that she’s vain because she fell in love with Ten instead of Nine is absolutely incorrect, because she fell in love with Nine first, and initially did not accept Ten because he was not Nine.

Putting aside the fact that Christopher Eccleston is quite attractive (he’s not “pretty," no, but have you seen his eyes? They’re the color of an arctic ocean; they’re beautiful), anyone with eyes can see that Rose fell in love with Nine first. She may not have realized it, she may have not been as open with her affections, but it was there. For example:

It can be argued that this...

You might be a Doctor Who fan if…

1. You have debates over the best Doctor with other obsessed friends.
2. You own a replica Sonic Screwdriver, and attempt to unlock doors with it.
3. You make the sound of the SS while doing this, and quickly unlock the door yourself, telling yourself it worked.
4. You know what Time Lord Rock is, and feel a sense of pride about this.
5. You think Chameleon Circuit is the best band in the world.
6. You’ve written a Time Lord Rock song.
7. You claim your refrigerator is a TARDIS with a broken Chameleon Circuit.
8. You’re terrified of gas masks and angel statues....

Introduction:

"Do you wanna come with me? 'Cause if you do then I should warn you, you're gonna see all sorts of things. Ghosts from the past; Aliens from the future; the day the Earth died in a ball of flame; It won't be quiet, it won't be safe, and it won't be calm. But I'll tell you what it will be: the trip of a lifetime."

Welcome to the greatest show in the galaxy!
This is for any people who want to become fans of Doctor Who (known as Whovians). For people who plan to watch it, I'm only going to say it's a TV show about time travel because I don't want to...

These are my "unpopular opinions" (idea credited to Trailer Drake on YouTube) about Doctor Who 2005. Now, these might be controversial so PLEASE be respectful in the comments!

Michelle Gomez is a FAR better Master than John Simm. Simm was fine, but he was too over the top for me to properly enjoy.

The Weeping Angels are not that scary. They’re creepy, sometimes startling as well as being creative monsters and I’m glad they exist but they aren’t terrifying to me as they are to a lot of other people.

Going with the above, the Midnight Entity is THE scariest thing from New Who!...
