Upon Clara's surprise entrance, she was already a 'perfect companion' in my eyes.
Upon Clara's surprise entrance, she was already a 'perfect companion' in my eyes.
It's been a while since I wrote my last article, so I thought it time I owe the Whoniverse another one. This time, I am going to talk about the Doctor's latest companion: Clara, who has often being the topic of debate throughout Series 7.
Now, when we were first introduced to her, she went by the name 'Oswin'. This was the first time the Doctor was mentally aware that he'd met her, but we all know she'd been a part of his life along time before the events of the Dalek Asylum. In this episode, she was brainy, sassy, flirty, bold and a born leader. She helped the Doctor, Amy and Rory escape from...

Russell T. Davies was a fantastic show runner; he brought back the show from the dead. And he introduced a whole new generation to Whoniverse and I’m eternally grateful for that. His two doctors – Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant – were like previous Doctors, brilliant in the role. So, Steven Moffat and Matt Smith had a tough act to follow when they were made show runner and the Doctor respectively. And did they succeed? Well, read on to see what I think…

EPISODE ONE: The Eleventh Hour by Steven Moffat
Considering that Russell T. Davies practically used up most of the budget on...

Doctor Who's 50th anniversary special will feature all 11 Doctors, a report has claimed.

An article from the Birmingham Mail claims that current Who star Matt Smith will be joined by his seven surviving predecessors.

Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy, Paul McGann, Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant are all said to be appearing in the November one-off.

In addition, the report claims that the Steven Moffat-penned episode will use "studio trickery" to include appearances from the first three Doctors - played by the late William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton and Jon Pertwee.

The BBC is yet to confirm any official plans for the Doctor Who special, which will mark 50 years since the sci-fi drama's first transmission on November 23, 1963.

Showrunner Moffat recently confirmed that he has "immense", "considerable" plans for the anniversary but refused to reveal specifics.

Here are a few quotes I found from the The Eleventh Hour that I loved!

The Doctor: Beans are evil. Bad, bad beans!

Amelia: I don't have a mum and dad. Just an aunt.
The Doctor: I don't even have an aunt.
Amelia: You're lucky!
The Doctor: I know.

The Doctor: You know when grown-ups tell you that everything is going to be fine, and you think that they're probably lying to make you feel better?
Amelia: Yes.
The Doctor: Well... everything's going to be fine.

The Doctor: Give me five minutes, I'll be right back.
Amelia: People always say that.
The Doctor: Am I people? Do I even look like people? Trust me....

BBC's Overview of Amy Pond

The Eleventh Doctor isn't the only new face in the TARDIS as the Time Lord is joined by the feisty, fantastic new companion, Amy Pond! We know their paths cross in the series opener, The Eleventh Hour and that she accompanies him through time and space, but aside from that, what is Karen Gillan, who plays Amy Pond, telling us?

Discussing Amy's relationship with the Doctor, Karen muses, 'She doesn't take his word as gospel and she's always happy to challenge him. If he tells her to do something then she won't necessarily do it, she might go off and do her own thing which can sometimes create a rift between the two of them! They are best pals though and it's a very up and down relationship because they are both very passionate people.'

Sounds like it might get stormy! Karen agrees, adding, 'They have quite a turbulent relationship but it's also really passionate and they care about each other... It's a great relationship!'

As he sits at home all he can think about is Rose and how he left her behind. He thinks of all the good times they had together. His eyes burned as he watched another episode of their video diaries. It hurt him to just look at a photo of Rose. "I hope she is happy with where she is right now but I know she is sad. I miss her. I wonder if she missies me too?" She meant so much to the Doctor. She was his day and his night, she was the burning love in his heart. Just the thought of Rose mead the Doctor sad.

"Evere since I met RoseI new we had a special connection like no other companion. I love her...
