Chap. 1
Lily put on her jacket and mitts to get ready for the car to go to Gramma`s for the weekend. Her dog, Flora, gazed at the interesting creatures with her midnight eyes gleaming as bright as the sun. Mom nodded her head, smiling. ``We need to stop getting flora in all this begging,`` she said, giggling. Just in that very moment, Flora jumped onto Lily`s lap, In a sigh of relief.[i]Whew,[i] thought Flora, [i]I like this girl.[i] Lily patted Flora, very gently.
Chap. 2
As soon as they got to the cottage, Mom said "Flora needs energy, from that 2 hour car ride," Patting the little Jack Russel puppy. "Jacks need lots of excersise. Plus, it is another hour away from Gramma. "

Jewel stared up at the strange humans,"What are these strange creatures?"One of the humans pointed at her;another one nodded and reached for her.She jumped back deeper into the box.The human tried again,this time quicker.

He scooped her up and pitched her into a large metal cage.She whimpered and it hit the cage.she heard the humans talking outside of the cage."Yes,they're mutts,but they will make some good dogs."One said."Yes i'm sure my family will be so happy with their new dog."Said the other.

She felt the cage move as she was tossed into a large compartment in the back of a car.The world...

Because of what I look like, I have to die.

You think that’s harsh? I mean….sure someone in your race, gender or age group has done something bad like kill someone, hurt someone or hurt an animal? Sure someone has, it happens, if an individual does something bad does the whole group have to die?

Well that is a reality I face….

I was born like anyone else; happy, willing to please and incredibly loyal. I loved my mother, father and siblings and they loved me. My home is with people who treat me right and love me for who I am. Then suddenly out of the blue something passed the laws. Something...

mc duff special
---------------------
vanilla rice pudding and sausages

you will need
-------------

* 100 gm pudding rice
* 284 ml full milk
* butter for greasing
* a dash of vanilla essence
(optional)
* frankfurters or other sausages

how to make it
----------------

mc duffs favourite comfort food, or reward when he's been specially good, is a dish of warm rice pudding with a sausage chopped on top. Bearing in mind that normallt only puppies eat rice pudding (some breeders swear by it) and sausages could be rather salty for dogs here's how to make it. please don't add sugar! butter a small metal or pottery baking dish. put in the rice and cover it with the milk. add vanilla (if your dog likes it!) and bake for 45-50 minutes as gas 3,160c,325f. serve with chopped sausages

Dogs are man's best friend so when they.....
It's a sad sight and those heartless creeps who dont like puppies think that money's way better well just take your money and leave me the Hell alone cause puppies is what I care about so to see them on the Tv with one eye three legs is really a pity give to dogs and they'll give back to you so dog haters Screw you! It's heartless and creul to cut a dog's ears(and tail) off if you dont care about dogs dont buy one give the one you have to the shelter so they can repair the damage you've done. Dog fights are a one on one fight So dont do this to them it could end their life. If you dog fight you might as well end it's life that's what you doin now just night by night. So do the right thing and stop or someone's ganna catch you and call The cops!

People are cruel to dogs cause "they have no feelings" Yea they do thaths why the jump when you cut their ears!

I have a very cute chihuahua called Holly!
She is so cute! She is still a puppy. There's a lot of other dogs that look like her. We got her from a dog shelter. Her mother was a stray. She was the runt of a litter of five so she is quite small. When we bought her she was the only one of her litter left in the shelter, the rest had already been adopted. She loves to swim in the shallow (very shallow) end of our pool. Well, she doesn't exactly swim she just waddles. She loves getting wet for some reason. When ever we get the hose out she jumps in front of it. In the picture she is still very young, that was what she looked like when we adopted her.

The Standard Poodle is the largest of the three breeds of poodle. The breed is elegant and squarely built. The hair is cut so that there is warmth around the ankles. The breed may not look like it but it is a highly regarded retriever of game from rivers. It originated in Germany and most likely descended from the French water dog, the Barbet. Since this is a working dog the need for clipping is so the coat can hinder movement in the water. Other names for the Standard Poodle are Barbone, and Caniche.

The Rottweiler is enormously powerful and muscular but has a very tranquil temperament.Its an enthusiastic worker and is very responsive to training.The breed came close to extinction in the 19th century. The Rottwiler came from a small German town called Rottweil and was used as a butcher's dog, for guarding cattle. It is one of the most popular dogs in the USA today. Mishandling gave the breed a reputation for viciousness. I believe that if you train a dog the right way you can have a really good dog. If you are thinking of getting a Rottweiler study up on the breed and make sure it is the right dog for you.

1. My life is likely to last ten to fifteen years. Any separation from you will be painful: remember that before you get me.

2. Give me time to understand what you want of me.

3. Place your trust in me—it is crucial to my well being.

4. Do not be angry at me for long, and do not lock me up as punishment.

5. You have your work, your entertainment, and your friends. I only have you.

6. Talk to me sometimes. Even if I don’t understand your words, I understand your voice.

7. Be aware that however you treat me, I will never forget.

8. Remember before you hit me that I have sharp teeth that could easily...

Dolly
Dolly
Recently I wrote a book about a dog. It is the life story of a stray dog, the struggles she faces, and her hopes for survival that keep her going. She is an American Eskimo Dog named Dolly who is born in the forest. She grows up learning the ways of the forest and how to survive, but when she sees a human house nearby, she gets curious and visits it. She was always told before she left the barn to stay away from the houses, but Dolly did not think they were bad. Dolly does not think it is bad until she is taken to a vet clinic.
Lost in this new world, she is confused and she just wants to...

A few years ago, I had a sweet, small dog named Heidi. She was a corgi/border collie mix. She looked like a border collie but was the size of a corgi. Unfortunately, she died. She lived a very, very long life though. Sadly, most of her life, she was miserable, until she came to my family. Before she came to us, she went to 3 families, all of which beat her up which made her blind. When she came to our house, my parents were just fostering her. You could tell how they hurt her because she was always afraid of brooms and scooters. That could just have been because she was blind, but it could...

Greyfriars Bobby was a Skye Terrier who became known in 19th-century Edinburgh after reportedly spending 14 years guarding the grave of his owner, John Gray, until he died himself on 14 January 1872. A year later, Lady Burdett-Coutts had a statue and fountain erected at the southern end of the George IV Bridge to commemorate him.
Several books and films have been based on Bobby's life, including the novel Greyfriar's Bobby (1912) by Eleanor Atkinson and the films Greyfriars Bobby (1961) and The Adventures of Greyfriars Bobby (2006).

The story

Old English Sheepdogs are really great dogs. There are several things you need to consider when you have an Old English Sheepdog. Most Old English Sheepdogs are friendly, couch potatoes. You will also find they have the herding instincts of most sheepdogs. While they are very protective of family and territory you will not find them the best watchdog because they tend to be more affectionate. It may not seem like this dog is very active, however they do require quite a bit of exercise and are full of life.

First you should realize that an Old English sheepdog requires both physical and mental...
