Since Bulma is the first winner of Dragon Ball link, I decided to dedicate an article especially to her. Bulma is surely the Dragon Ball character who changed her hairstyle most frequently and probably the most known anime girl for this peculiarity. The article will be divided in two parts: the first one will illustrate hairstyles from Dragon Ball, the second one from Dragon Ball Z (included future's hairstyles) and Dragon Ball GT. link.

#10. Short (climbed)

Saiyan Saga, Movie: Dead Zone.

At the beginning of Dragon Ball Z, Bulma's hair are short again. This time the bangs is put laterally and the whole hairstyle is more fashionable compared to the previous short haircut; this one is also climbed.
It is present also in the Dragon Ball Z first movie.

#11. High Ponytail

Saiyan Saga.

This hairstyle is identical to the one she had during the 21st World Martial Arts Tournament, but, once again, on Bulma's more mature face it looks a bit different. The red bow is also the same; during the Z Fighters' training period, the bow is yellow. Bulma is very lucky, it seems her hair grows very quickly!

#12. Loose (with a part of bangs up)

Saiyan Saga.

This is a very peculiar hairstyle. Bulma lets the hair loose, but she makes a line on the right side of the head. The bangs falls down on the right, while on the left side it's up. It's a real pity she has this hairstyle just for a few episodes. It's so fancy.

#13. Hairband

Namek Saga, Frieza Saga, Movies: The Tree Of Might, Lord Slug.

As Bulma says, she cut her hair again for a special occasion, the travel to Namek. Except for the last episode, she has this hairstyle for the whole Frieza Saga. The haircut is similar to a Bob, but she always keeps her hair behind the ears, probably because of the hairband. At departure Bulma has a black hairband, then she changes it for a pink/red one.

#14. Loose (long)

Frieza Saga, Garlic Jr. Saga.

Oh, this one is my favorite. Bulma's hair grows again and she let it loose. She makes a line on the left side of the head and she also puts the bangs on the left. This is the last period where we can see Bulma with long hair. It's a real pity, in my opinion, she looks gorgeous with long hair.

#15. Curly

Future Trunks Saga.

Bulma decides to try the permanent. The hair are very curly and totally up. She has also a blue hairband to flip one's hair. This hairstyle isn't very popular. Most of fans consider it the worst Bulma's hairstyle. Personally I'm not crazy for it, but I think it gives a funny look to Bulma.

#16. Loose (long Bob)

Android Saga, Cell Saga, Movie: Broly - The Legendary Super Saiyan, Ova: Plan to Eradicate The Saiyans & Remake.

This is one of the most popular Bulma's hairstyle. In a lot of fanarts, Bulma is pictured with this haircut. It's a typical Bob, with bangs. Become mother, Bulma opts for a convenient haircut, since Trunks likes to play with other people's hair (it's seen when Future Trunks has long hair and Baby Trunks pulls it).

#17. Hairband (on the forehead)

Cell Saga, Movie: Bojack Unbound.

The hairstyle is almost the same to her previous one, except for the hairband that is put on the forehead. During the Cell Game the hairband is red, while in the Dragon Ball Z 9th movie it's yellow.

#18. Short (Bob)

Great Saiyaman Saga, World Tournament Saga, (Whole) Majin Buu Saga, Movies: Fusion Reborn, Wrath Of The Dragon, Battle Of Gods, Ova: Yo! Son Goku And His Friends Return!!.

This is probably the most popular and known Bulma's hairstyle. At the beginning of Great Saiyaman Saga, we can see Bulma definitively cuts her hair. There's nothing particular about this haircut, it's just a short Bob. She has this hairstyle almost till the end of Dragon Ball Z. It is also present in a lot of movies.

#19. Short (with very high bangs)

27th World Martial Arts Tournament.

A fifty-year-old Bulma flaunts a very serious haircut. The hairstyle is still short but the bangs is very high and Bulma puts it behing the right ear. Personally I think Bulma looks more older than she really is with this hairstyle.

#20. Short (with lateral high bangs)

Dragon Ball GT.

Bulma has just one hairstyle during Dragon Ball GT.
The haircut is similar to the previous one, except for the bangs that falls on the right part of the face and it's lower. It gives to Bulma a younger look.

#21. Low Ponytail

Special: The History Of Trunks, DBZ Episode: Free The Future.

It's time to talk about Future Bulma's hairstyles. The first one we see it's a low ponytail. Bulma has long hair in the future. This hairstyle is present for the whole special movie dedicated to Future Trunks and it's seen also when Trunks comes back in his epoch.

#22. Bun

DBZ Episode: Unwelcome Discovery.

This hairstyle is briefly seen in Trunks' sad memories. All Bulma's long hair are tied up in a large bun. Since Bulma has a mechanic's coveralls in this scene, it's supposed she uses this hairstyle while she works.

#23. Short (climbed)

DBZ Episode: Free The Future.

It seems that Bulma keeps the custom to change her hairstyle often also in the future.
This haircut is very similar to the one she has during the Saiyan Saga. It's weird but Future Bulma seems younger than her present counterpart.
