__________
Courtney's POV:
"Why don't you just go talk to him?" My best friend asked me while we were at our favorite cafe`.
"Why would I wanna talk to Duncan?" I asked defensively.
"Because you like him!"
"Bella, the last thing I feel about Duncan is that!"
Isabella is my best friend, she's crazy, smart, and awesome! She has the same skin tone as me, my hair except it's a tad darker, and dark brown eyes. And she just always knew the right thing to say...mostly.
"Courtney, what was the first thing you ever thought about him?"
"I thought, 'I'm gonna be lab partners with him?'."
"Did you know, that the people you always have negative thoughts about will most likely be the people you fall for?"
"That is so not true! Remember you with Drew?" Drew was a guy that transferred to our school last year, Bella absolutely hated him, and she still feels the same.
"Who knows, maybe I could fall for him any day."
"Everyone knows that you're never going to," Duncan then came over and set some coffees down on the table we were sitting at, and Bella smirked.
"Here is your coffee, girls." He said sarcastically.
"So, Duncan," Bella said, "what's your opinion on Courtney?"
He chuckled a little, and said, "Princess, here? Awh, well, man, she's an uptight, snotty, hot, princess."
"Hot, eh?" She smirked again.
He looked at me, "Yeah, she's hot but off limits."
"And why would that be?" I asked.
"Fine, you asked for it. I'll pick you up at your place at 8 tonight, get dolled up, I don't do this often." And he walked off.
"What was that?"
"I was right." Bella picked up a magazine and smiled.
"You were not!"
"Girl, you're blushing madly." I snatched the magazine and opened it to a page hiding my face in it, "blushing doesn't always mean you're right."
"But it does, Courtney."
