"Hello Edward, three days was too long to not see you're beauty."
He looked over at Carlisle, with a blank, collected expression. Tell her, she deserves to know, Carlisle stated. I waited for Edward to answer, curious.
"Tell me what?"I turned to Carlisle.
Almost everyone surrounding me gasped in unison, including my beloved. What was wrong?
Can you hear me?
"Of course I can, you are speaking aloud."I paused,"aren't you,"I spoke turning back to face Edward.
"Actually no, I thought it to you, but it doesn't make sense. You showed clear signs that you'd have telekenesis."
"How do I tell if I do,"I asked carefully.
"Try focusing on something, and picture it doing something."
That's kinda odd, I thought to myself. But why not try anyway. I turned to face the wall of pictures in Carlisle's study. I picked out the most colorful picture there, the one with Carlisle and Aro on it. I used my eyes to guide the picture off the wall and around the room, finally to place it back in it's place on the wall.
The low whispers gradually grew more amazed and louder around me. I heard some whispering about the fact that I was the only vampire to ever have more than one ability. It was kinda cool to have other's in awe of me.
"You're amazing,"my Edward whispered into my ear, then moving his lips to mine as we kissed once more. His expression changing to one of surprise.
"You're lips are soft,"he whispered in amazement, as the black haired Aro, pushed his way to the center of the crowd towards us.
"You're very special Elizabeth, very unique,"he complemented.
"Thank you,"I replied politely.
"Would you mind accompanying us to Volterra? It would be just delightful if you joined the Volturi."
I faced Edward, keeping my thoughts and feelings to myself.
What do you think Edward, I thought purposefully to him, should I join?
Only if you want to. I will go with you, but I won't join.
Then I've made my decision.
I turned back to Aro, who thought,how wonderful to be able to comunicate without there voices.
"I would like a free trial,"I paused, taking in a breath,"I would like to visit for a month, only drinking animal blood, of course,"I smiled,"and Edward would be with me. I want to try it out, then make a final decision as to whether I join or not."
"That is just precious. When can we expect you?"
"One week after the wedding, I would like my honeymoon, of course,"I smiled.
"Then in a week we will meet you just after sunset."
Edward took my hand, at the same time, Alice wrapped her arm around my waist. He turned back when I didn't move. Sorry Edward, rules are rules, Alice thought.
"Alice,"he growled with laughter.
Alice led me to her room, which I had been in for the designing and creation of the dresses.
We sat in the middle of the room. For the first time in my life, I didn't feel the least bit tired.
Alice pulled out a mirror that was six feet tall and four feet wide. I stood to look at myself. I was curious as to what I looked like now. My reflection was that of a goddess. Everything was perfect. My hair was shinier, and my pale skin matched Alice's. I smiled, until I saw the black eyes staring at me. I moved away from the mirror so I wouldn't have to look at my black eyes.
"Alice?"
"Yes, Liz?"
"How does it feel to hunt?"
"Well how about I show you,"she said,"I would let Edward, but you're really thirsty, and he's not allowed to see you, so I will go with you."
"But Alice, I want to teach her how to hunt,"Edward's voice came from above.
"I know, but you can't see her and her eyes are pitch black."
He growled in answer.
"Edward I see the future, and I see me hunting with her."
"Fine, fine, but I get her to myself for all eternity."
"Edward,"Alice complained.
"Go hunt,"he replied.
So I went to follow Alice down to the front room and through the door, where we took off through the woods. She stopped at the river.
"How do we cross the river?"
"We jump," she said backing up a few feet before taking off at full speed. At the bank she pushed herself into the air and landed lightly on her feet. I tried to mimic her steps and leapt into the air and lunged myself across the river, and landing on top of Alice.
"Sorry Alice,"I said as I started to lift myself off of her.
"Don't, I've always wanted to try this,"she replied.
What did she mean by that?

I obeyed and closed my eyes, as Alice forced her lips to mine, pulling away just as quickly.
I quickly got up, wiping off my lips.
"What was that for, Alice,"I asked frantically.
"Close your eyes and focus on Edward,"she replied calmly.
"So you can kiss me again?"
"No, just do it."
Knowing I should trust Alice, even though I was still freaked, I closed my eyes and focused on the groom. Suddenly I saw him. It was bright out and my glow was brighter than his. I was walking down the aisle towards him, Rosalie was on the piano playing the wedding march. I noticed the other Cullen men beside Edward and Esme and Alice on the other side, waiting for me to meet them. One of the vampires that came with the Volturi was standing as priest. I walked forward admiring the beautiful roses and freesia around me. Finally I had reached the end of the aisle and Rosalie had joined my bridesmaids beside me.
I gasped, opening my eyes.
"What was that?!"
"You just saw the future."
"Through your thoughts?"
"Nope, this is why I kissed you."
"So I could see the future?"
"This is what I thought, but I could't be sure. Your ability, it's unique, a first in the vampire world. When your lips meet another's you download their ability. The telekenesis must have come from someone you kissed. That's why you can hear thoughts, because you kissed Edward."
"So anyone I kiss, I can gain that ability?"
"Yeah."
"Wow. That's really cool."
"Just wait til everyone else finds out, they'll want to protect their lips."
I laughed, it sounded like wind chimes, very musical.
"Are we gonna hunt or what?"
"We are, just follow me,"she said sprinting ahead.
I broke into a run, easily catching up with my enhanced strength, I pushed myself further.
"Stop,"she spoke.
"Let's stay in Washington now."
"Okay."
Close your eyes, what do you smell?
"I don't know, but I see a mountain lion in a tree, watching some elk, it smells mouthwatering."
Go find it. Follow your instincts.
I ran towards the mountain lion, leaping into the trees. I followed my nose to find it just branches below me, ready to pounce on the unsuspecting elk. I climbed down quickly and quietly. Stalking my prey. I landed on the branch. The lion turned on me, growling loudly. It immediately launched at my throat as I launched at his. I bit into his throat, immediatly snapping his neck so I wouldn't have to fight. I pulled it's body close to fill myself. Easily draining him of blood. I looked down at the elk once more, noticing Alice partaking in the excitement of blood drinking.
Finally, the lion's veins ran dry and I pushed him to the ground, following him down.
"Delicious."
Alice pushed the elk aside and I noticed how light her eyes had become. She gasped, at first I thought it was because I had ruined the outfit I was wearing. Until I looked down, my shirt and pants had a few tears, but otherwise, they were still in tact and unrevealing.
"What is it Alice?"
"Your eyes, they're not red or yellow."
"What do you mean?"
"They're violet."
"Why do think that is?"
"Because you're different."
"Different how?"
"Well you were only under the change for 29 hours, and you're ability. The fact that your lips are soft. Plus the fact that you're not so ravenous, it's like you've been a vampire for a century rather than four hours."
"Wow, all that's wrong with me?"
"I don't know what to say."
"How about we head home and figure it out."
"That's probably best,"she said taking off, with me on her tail.
