Elder Scrolls V : Skyrim Question

Can you get a divorce on Skyrim?

I was so stupid and married to fast in the game. I wanted to marry Farkas, but I just started out in the game and didn't want to wait that long. I was impatient and I picked the lamest character ever to marry.

So, can I remarry? Is it possible?

yeah my big bro married a girl once and remarried. I'm pretty sure you don't have to go through a divorce, the title of Wife or Husband simply transfers once you remarry. (not too sure about the divorce part but I'm certain you can remarry.)

YEESSS Farkas is awesome. I married him. ^.^

Nope, the only way you can get a divorce is by killing your partner.
If you've brought your own house kill your partner in there cause you'll get no bounty! And your partner won't fight back, they'll just let you kill them...
Also, if you've completed the golden claw quest I suggest for a brief time you marry the woman that is found in riverwood trader (don't remember her name) cause when you do she starts up a shop and you get a share of the money she makes. Easy way to get some money! :)

Every person you marry starts a shop. And I did try that, didn't work.

The only way out of marriage in Skyrim is to kill your partner.
My advice: kill them while both of you are in your house if you have one to avoid bounty.

Gives a whole new meaning to "Till death do we part".
