What is with people assuming that 'cuz your emo you cut yourself or have to? Being emo does NOT mean you have to cut yourself or that their any different from you. If your emo ou could be just emotional. Why do people think you have to/should cut?

Hey, GearGirl666. For 1, nice user name. For 2, I started cutting when I was 10. Life was harsh at that point and it still is. But I didn't begin to dress with the 'emo' fashion until I was 12. Yeah, I hate when people assume that just because I dress the way I do, I cut. I mean, seriously? So then
should I answer them with "So just becuase you're a slut, does that mean you have a dildo up your ass?" But, I hope I answered this the best I could.
