Natsu Dragneel, originally Etherious Natsu Dragneel. Is a mage member of the Fairy Tail guild.
Raised by a Fire Dragon called Igneel. Died 400 years ago, was subsequently revived by the hands of his older brother Zeref . Therefore is not from a human race but breathing as a creation of Zeref to this day.
Also among the five Dragon Slayers sent to the future 400 years past having an additional purpose of defeating Acnologia.
It was when Zeref brought the dead back to life. He attained magic called Black Arts, but in consequence was turned in for a certain curse. Zeref's most powerful weapon that can potentially destroy him is the Book of E.N.D, in secrecy, Etherious Natsu Dragneel, whom the only creation enabling to destroy oneself and his evil forces, including the Book of E.N.D itself. In conclusion, Natsu would die if Zeref dies.
One of another demon of Zeref's, the King of The Underworld (a.k.a Mard Geer Tartaros), coincidently lay upon the book. Waiting for the right time to open the Book of E.N.D, the verge of his fall was expectedly sooner than the truth to be revealed. But, after Fairy Tail's victory was set to stone, Natsu sent a letter (specifically to Lucy 💜) saying his absence was merely supposedly training in various cities in Fiore (Fiore is located in Ishgar, Earth Land) to gather one's strength. A day after, Fairy Tail was disbanded. Natsu made a shocking reveal at the Grand Magic Games a year later on claiming that Fairy Tail would always clench victory.
Natsu's ancient power was originally taught by Igneel, but expects to eliminate Zeref.
Aside from his history, he is very loyal to his comrades and guild. However, in the middle of Natsu and Zeref's reunion, unacceptance and shock of the real past of Natsu left Happy to forcingly drive him away to retreat. He is still very positive of every battle he gone through, knowing that the love of his guild would give him the power to defeat anything. would do anything for them, and he would only get serious if one of his friends were somewhat hurt. Though, as you may know, he does not get along with Gray, he unwillingly accepts that he's there and is family very deeply.

MAGIC & ABILITIES :
Natsu's element was originated from Igneel, which he whom he was raised from. His ancient fire magic had yet to defeat anyone. His ability to create enormous ranges of fire and consume it if the enemy chooses to use his own element is a great asset. Dragon Slaying magic is rare, and having one in a guild would alter its capabilities. For instance, Fairy Tail is known to have infrequent but underestimating Dragon Slayers such as Natsu, Wendy, and Gajeel. The three have incredible strength and overcome Dragon Force, a powerup used if correct high Ethernanos are inhaled in a Dragon Slayer's lungs.
His emotions controls how much damage his blows would be towards the enemy. In every battle when at his weakest, Natsu gains his greatest by thinking of Fairy Tail, and how this would affect them. Each losing battle, he uses the strength of his family instead of his own, thus that was how he had often succeeds at last minute. His movements would increase rapidly, as well change the type of fire he is using. He can as well use Laxus' lightning, to gather more than one element in additional.
