"A rose has its thorns, and a violet has its leaves. But, combining the two will make you weep." Said Silver, looking down at a white piece of paper with a proud tone of voice. He was in Poetry class, and this was his first poem. It needed to make his teacher impressed, or he would be expelled from Poetry class. "Impressive,Silver. Next, is Shadow." Ms.Suxcox affirmed. "Guns are great tools, you are a faker. I don't care what you say, you aren't even a windwaker." Shadow read his poem, having an annoyed tone of voice, he wasn't happy as always.
"......" Ms.Suxcox glared at Shadow, unimpressed by his very idiotic poem. "Expelled.." She proclaimed to Shadow, pointing to the door and forcing him to leave. "Whatever. I hated you anyway." Shadow crossed his arms, rolling his eyes and exiting the classroom with a scoff. Silver watched Shadow leave the classroom, sighing with a depressed facial expression.
"Class dismissed." Ms.Suxcox informed the whole class, watching all of her students leave, including Silver. Silver sighed deeply again, looking around the hallway for Shadow. "Why is he always disrespectful...?" Silver asked himself, hovering down the hallway. Now, he sighed a dark figure near the stairs that go to the third floor of the high school. "Shadow, may I ask you something?" Silver asked, getting closer to the figure.
"Fine." Shadow nodded his head slowly, turning to face Silver. Silver returned onto the ground, crossing his arms onto his chest. "Why are you always upset?" He asked, flattening his ears with a sad tone of voice. Shadow was silent for a few seconds, but then answered "Because, my life is depressing." Silver hesitated "...Oh..." his ears still drooped.
"You hear that?" Shadow asked,now hearing a sound coming from outside, both hedgehogs perked their ears. Silver and Shadow ran downstairs and exited the high school, entering the gym field. To their highest astonishment, Amy Rose was being attacked by Mephiles the dark. Amy was screaming, scared out of her mind. Silver's hands started to glow in light blue telekinesis energy, picking Mephiles up. He pushed his hands forward, throwing Mephiles into a tree faraway. Shadow watched, unsure of what to do since Silver was already battling Mephiles. Amy Rose was still weeping on the ground, afraid.
"Shadow, take Amy inside of the building, I got this covered!" Silver informed Shadow, hovering over to Mephiles. Shadow nodded, running over to Amy and grabbing her arm, running inside of the high school with her to safety. Mephiles cackled with an immoral tone, glaring at Silver. "I'll destroy this whole world along with your pest companions." He affirmed. Silver grunted, kicking Mephiles to the ground and picking him up with his telekinesis, throwing him up onto the school's roof. Mephiles was motionless, getting weaker due to the lack of chaos energy.
"I'll finish him off..." Silver muttered to himself, flying up to the school's roof with a glare at Mephiles. He hovered closer to Mephiles, his whole body glowing in bright blue energy. This was Silver's last attack to finish Mephiles off. "You wouldn't dare, you gray piece of forgotten rat carcasses." Mephiles snickered, still on the ground, motionless. "I do dare. Your threats won't be valid anymore." Silver affirmed, picking Mephiles up with telekenisis and using his left hand to shoot a Psychokinesis Beam straight through Mephiles' chest.
Mephiles was motionless, finally being ridden from this world. He fell onto the ground when Silver let go of him, creating a black puddle and falling through it. Silver panted in exhaustion, flying back down to the entrance to the school and going inside. "Shadow, where are you?" Silver called out to Shadow, looking for him. Shadow skated over to him "Yeah?" He asked. "Mephiles... Is gone." Silver informed, still panting from the battle.
"That's great!" Shadow affirmed with please. "Wow, he took down Mephiles in a shot..." He thought to himself, blushing a bit with impression of Silver's actions to rid Mephiles. "I know. Well, we got to go to Art class." Silver informed, teleporting to the Art classroom. Shadow nodded, and teleported to the art classroom, too. Both of the hedgehogs were the first students to make it to Art class, and they both sat down in their seats. Silver looked up at his art teacher, Mr.Nobrain, with a curious look. Mr.Nobrain was drawing a new picture for his class to replicate, and Silver was curious of what it looked like.
"I hope he's letting us draw a gun..." Shadow muttered to himself, watching Mr.Nobrain draw. After Mr.Nobrain finished his drawing, he moved out of the way to let Silver and Shadow see what picture they needed to replicate. "A hemlock tree..." Silver thought to himself, getting up out of his seat and grabbing a sharpened pencil. Shadow did the same, preparing to draw. "We'll start as soon as the other students arrive." Mr.Nobrain proclaimed.
"I'm here, Nobrain!" Jet proclaimed, jumping over Silver, cackling and sitting down in his seat. Silver was annoyed, glaring at Jet, his hands glowing in bright blue energy. "What's the matter, pothead?" Jet taunted, cackling. "Stop the behavior towards Silver!" Mr.Nobrain yelled at Jet, unsatisfied about his unacceptable behavior. "Whatever." Jet rolled his eyes with no care.
"Ughhh...." Silver growled at Jet, now receiving a blank piece of paper for his art assignment. "Now, try to replicate my hemlock tree with the best you can." Mr.Nobrain proclaimed, sitting down in his seat, looking at his computer and signing paperwork at his desk. Silver started his work off smooth, drawing smooth,curved lines for the tree trunk. Shadow did the same when he received his paper, taking his time.Jet got up and got a pencil, rushing through his work.
"Ugh..." Silver grumbled, becoming distracted from the loud noise of Jet's pencil swirling around on his paper. Shadow kept working, ignoring Jet's noises. "Blah bah blah." Jet mocked Silver, repeating the same noise. Silver became annoyed, and picked Jet up with telekinesis, and threw him across the room. "Silver...." Mr.Nobrain glared at Silver. After still working on their drawings, Silver and Shadow finished drawing, but they need to color their work in.
"Class dismissed." Mr.Nobrain dismissed his class, watching his three students leave. "I wonder why the rest didn't show up...." Silver affirmed, the rest of the class was supposed to arrive. "Hooky." Shadow replied, crossing his arms onto his chest. "Jet was distracting me, but at least I completed my drawing." Silver sighed, hovering up stairs to the fourth floor of the high school. Shadow teleported to the fourth floor, catching up to Silver when arriving. "Silver is starting to turn me on...." Shadow thought to himself, his tail wagging and suddenly feeling a tickle in his heart.
"You alright,Shadow?" Silver asked, not knowing Shadow was wagging his tail. "Yeah..." Shadow answered, still wagging his tail and blushing. The two hedgehogs walked back to their homeroom, confident everything will be alright. Silver and Shadow sat down in their seats, sighing. Silver opened up his desk, taking a notebook and a pencil out, closing the desk. "I should continue my novel..." He muttered to himself, opening his notebook to the 45th page, with his 15th page of his novel.
"Hmm... I never read his novel yet..." Shadow thought to himself, looking over at Silver's notebook with curiousity of what Silver already wrote. Silver swirled his pencil around his page, writing so many words and sentences for the 15th page of his novel. Shadow kept watching Silver write, becoming more interested in Silver. Silver kept writing, until he turned to Shadow and caught him watching "What's up with you?" He asked, tilting his head at Shadow.
"N-nothing...." Shadow imeddiately answered, trying to hide his bright red, hard blushing. Silver shrugged his shoulders, turning back to his notebook and continuing to write. Shadow looked up at the board, seeing something unusual written on it. The board read "We all already know you have a crush on Silver Shadow the hedgehog." Shadow widened his eyes in astonishment, he was so afraid now. He was only hallucinating, of course. "Just paranoia...." Shadow muttered to himself, his eyes still widened.
