I write fan fiction. I accept and use the informal word fic to refer to a single work of fan fiction and the word fics to refer to multiple works, but for whatever reason I do not like the plural term fan fictions. Instead, I prefer to use something like fan fiction stories or works of fan fiction, which are longer and seem more correct. Fan fictions just seems too informal and too rushed, as does fanfiction used as a single word. Posted over a year ago

I just noticed the character section has increased :) You can now add more than two characters in your story. You know, when you create a new fan fic you have to insert the characters that it's about and until recently you could only put up two. With the recent changes to FanFiction.net, it took me a few days to find where the site had hidden its ad blocker, which I've always been a fan of.
