Fanpop Question

What happens when I disconnect my Fanpop account from Facebook?

I registered here using my FB account (WHICH WAS A BIG MISTAKE) and I was wondering what happens if I disconnect it.

1. Will my account get deleted/suspended?
2. Can I still use my same account even if I'm not connected to fb? if yes, how?

I don't want to. I'll go crazy if I created a new account. I've already contributed a lot to a spot and I don't want it all to just go down the drain.
