I'm not leaving, munchkins..I know you are slightly disappointed now and were waiting for some eDrama (or happy to see me FINALLY desert the pop to live on my farm full time and stop clogging your "answers") but it's just boring old me sharing my thoughts on reporting. Forgive me..it's Sunday..and I had the time. I sometimes stumble across obvious spam (yes, I'm talking aboot you chinese shoe and handbag sellers!) on this site that has been there for months and I wonder why it was never removed. I also see quizzes where people have been informed of a mistake and yet months later the wrong quiz...
As some of you may know, I often suffer from grammar-induced rage blackouts. These can be triggered by anything from a misplaced apostrophe to the incorrect usage of "your" and "you're". So, I decided to do something about it.. mostly because I'm afraid the next dangling modifier I come across might send me spiraling into a violent rampage the likes of which have never been seen.
I understand that a lot of Fanpoppers are not native English speakers, and thus might not have as good a hold on our sometimes ridiculously complicated grammatical rules. Obviously, I can't fault them for their mistakes....
This is a quick guide to using the new IM and Chat beta launch.
Rooms Tab: The global-chat is open to all registered fans.
There is another room that is reserved for users of a certain level, and you'll also see that in the Rooms tab. In the past, we've had a few random people come in and hit on the people in the chat rooms, so the reserved room should be relatively free of such riff-raff.
Contact Tab: Setting custom status messages: click on the pencil, and type away!
Turning off chat: Click on the bubble next to "I am online" and click on the red "Log out" option on the menu.

There is many different rants on Fanpop etiquette but one i havent seen is an article on the questions titled HELP ME!!!1 These questions just put me in a terrible mood as do the questions where you cant understand what they are saying
Me in a terrible mood
These questions grate on my already fragile nerves so i think it is best if i explain why and maybe others have similar reasons
I live in Ireland among the riverdancing leprechauns
Even leprechauns get mad

This part of my user's guide covers the reporting mechanism and how to use it to maintain good content on the site. It was last updated on 25 December 2009.
As you continue to use Fanpop, you will come across content that is not what it should be in some way. Since Fanpop is largely only as good as the content it contains, it is important to address these issues for the good of the site and the Fanpop community.
Now, most of the content that "is not what it should be" is likely just content that you don't like, and such content should be rated appropriately (see the link). But, rarely, there...
