First Off, What Is Fanpop's Got Talent?
Fanpop's Got Talent, or FGT, is an annual event on Fanpop dedicated to finding the best of the best people in certain categories, of which are listed down below.
You can either compete, or be a judge. The information for becoming a competitor or a judge is, once again, listed down below.
In this contest, Fanpop users will compete by submitting their material to this club. After that period ends, the chosen user will publish an article with a link to the all the users entries. The body of Fanpop users will then read/watch the entries and vote on their top choices through a poll, which are relayed to a panel of judges for the final decision.
Users must comment on the poll why they chose who they did as well, for the sake of explanation. There will be also be polls for 1st and 2nd place votes for each category.
The duties of a judge are essentially to analyze the poll results and provide feedback to the participants, they don't actually do any judging beyond each casting their own vote. Instead, they are more like moderators.
Lastly, there's the crew members. These people are the main users who're organizing, planning, supporting, and analyzing the event as a whole. Again, links will be below.
(I changed some rules around to make things much more convenient, but if Kuro wants to change this, then so be it. :D)
FGT has been a thing for a while until it was completely glossed over in 2015, leading brave user Kuro_Hyou666 inspired to start spreading around the word of FGT 2016.
Another good friend of mine picked up on this idea and started helping organize the event. His username is LGYCE, and he's the one who even let me KNOW about the event. XD
Our profiles are listed down below if you have any inquiries about the event. :)
And now, onto the rules.
Categories (As Of May 5th, 2016): Haikus/Poems, Writing, Music, Dancing, Drawing/Digital Art, Video Editing.
(Will update constantly as new things come into play! Also, come on Kuro, Video Editing isn't Digital Art. XD)

-If your entry is an article, then post it on a relevant club (preferably here).
-Each Fanpop user can submit one entry per FGT competition. -Entries/PM's must be titled "_____'s Entry".

FAQ'S
(Will be updated constantly!)
"Can I compete AND judge?"
Supposedly, the rule is that although you CAN compete and judge simultaneously, you can't do both on the same category.
"What is the prize for winning?"
Fanpop themselves answered that question on my #FreeOurCritique article with this: "The winner will be awarded 10,000 Gold! 2nd place gets 5,000 Gold, and 3rd place gets 2,000 Gold. The winners will also be featured on the front page for three days".
They also added this: "To make sure it's fair, Fanpop may validate voting fairness. The awarded Gold can be spent like any other Gold, but it will not be added to public Lifetime Gold totals as that can only be earned through your content. Good luck!"
"Do I have to be nice? D:"
What the hell do you think, Sherlock Holmes?
"Who do I ask for help!? >___>"
Ask any of us for help, parenthesis will be used to describe what to go to them for. We're the main crew right now, by the way. ^___^

"Can I post previous works of mine for the contest?"
Absolutely not, that completely defeats the purpose of this contest, to create new works and compete with them.
"Can I compete in multiple categories?"
The new rule is that you can't, because if we did that, then HOLY HELL would we have a lot of things to do. o__O
Although I am suggesting Kuro changes the rules to two entries to be a tad more fair, the rules of now still stand.
"Do I have to make my own work? :D"
"When does the competition start?"
Right now we're just gathering entries, so we'll take a while. Kuro suggests July 1st, and you have till the 15th of July to sign up.
"Once I sign up, where do I post my entry?"
I plan on making an article eventually listing all of the entries, this is when the contest will start, which will be on July 15th when the submission period ends.
Just post them to any club you like to, although I recommend that you post them here.
"Do you believe in Monsters?"
They're COMING FOR ME!!!! X_____X
(And that's it for now. Have any questions about this, let us know in the comments below. Thanks again guys! :D)
