I am doing a storyline with the main character being a nephlym (I dunno if I spelled that right) a nephlym is half angel half human. I need a name for him.

you have to keep in mind that they are still half humans .So they can have human names but if you want to use angels names here are some Elijah-Angel of Innocence,
Gabriel-Angelic Messenger,Ezekiel-
Archangel of Death and Transformation,Israfil-Angel of Judgment Day,Nathaniel-Angel of Fire,Raguel-Angel of God. And yes most to all angels are male

Raefalo (like Rafael, but with a twist)

The first name that comes to mind is Phoenix as the Phoenix rises from the ashes, and is a bird so has wings, and this guy will have wings in his next life as a lower angel. He will not die as such(any death is a transformation of energy & consciousness from one state or dimension to another)but transform into his angel(as he is already half angel, his soul would have evolved through the human form and preparing for him becoming an angel) and Phoenix seems an appropriate name, although an angelic name may sound better actually! Although Phoenix is a fairly popular human name
