What race is Joe?

I believe Samuel/Joe is white. Someone said that he was part Danish, too. He's mixed with something else, but I don't know what it is.

According to Glee-wiki Samual Larsen, the actor who plays Joe, has a mother from mexico and his father is from denmark. weather the character is supposed to have the same ethnicity, I dont know.
