Hey, guys. I know everyone's pretty pissed or bored about waiting for this hiatus to end so we can watch another episode of "Glee". While we're waiting, I've decided to come up with an essay contest. All you have to do is write a persuasive essay about one of the following topics below:
Topic #1: Why should more people love *my favorite character*.
For this topic, you need to tell what your favorite character is and all of the good qualities they have or the good deeds they have done. With each quality and/or deed, you have to give proof from the episodes of "Glee" that have aired. You can choose any season. Needs 5 paragraphs: 1 intro paragraph, 3 body paragraphs (one for each reason and evidence), and a conclusion paragraph.
Topic #2: Why more people should watch "Glee" and how it will change their lives.
For this topic, you have to list at least 3 real-life experiences you've had that are similar to some of the characters' experiences on Glee. Then you have to explain how watching "Glee" has taught them something about their situation that they're going through. Needs 5 paragraphs: 1 intro paragraph, 3 body paragraphs (for for each experience and how "Glee" has changed them), and a conclusion paragraph.
Once you're done with your essay, you can send a message to me saying that you've sent your essay. I will check for any errors in sentences (let's just say that this is like English class for all of us), and send a message back listing anything you need to correct. If everything's right, then I'll just say that it's okay.
The deadline for these essays are on April 3rd, 2012--right before the next episode of "Glee" comes on. Then a poll will go up and you'll have the chance to vote. But don't vote for yourselves! The winners will be announced right after "Big Brother" airs.

2. I can care less about how many words there are, but there has to be 5 paragraphs.
3. ONLY FOR THOSE DOING TOPIC #1! If you have more than one character, you can only use 1 or 2 characters.
4. When the poll is put up, you can't vote for yourselves!
