“Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.” Ezekiel22:26(KJV)

“And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none. Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon...

Beloved…Our Sovereign Lord set up the entire universe and everything in it. He did it all without consulting our pea brains. God does not really need us. So, why were we created?

In Isaiah 43:7 (NIV), God talks of mankind, “Whom I created for my glory”. God tells us in 1 Corinthians 10:31 (NIV), "So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God."

So we were created to glorify God. We can glorify the Almighty One through what we say, how we act, and what we are thinking. We should acknowledge how glorious He is and put Him above all things.

We glorify God through our desire to know Him. The more we rejoice over Him "so will your God rejoice over you." Isaiah 62:5 (NIV). Be grateful, rejoice and have a desire to know and obey Him.
