Gone and Hunger are without a doubt the best books i have ever read. the story line is suspensful and always keeps u thinking and ur imagination going. although i like most of these well-developed characters some of them annoy such as Astrid. shes too much of a know-it-all and shes too full of herself. i also do not like Little Pete. My favorite characters, however, are Diana and Caine. I also like Lana,Sam,and Edilio. Many people have said that they would like these books to be made into a movie. i myself would have liked to see a movie on these books but it would ruin it for me if they didnt use the characters on the covers of the book. those are the people i picture when i read and if they werent used to make the movie it wouldnt be the same. i also wish the books would come out sooner because at this rate it would be about 4 years untill we find out the ending. please comment and give your opinions. thanks.

claire_baire77 THANK YOU!!!!! I love Diana and Caine!!! There my favorite characters too!!! I hope they make gone into a movie, that would be awesome! It sucks that the books come out once year, I finished Hunger the day I got it. I also dont think Drake or the Darkness is gone for good, at least the Darkness, the Darkness in just one of those things that keeps finding away to reapear somehow and create chaos or something. And whats up with Brittany?! Is she like, a paralized zombie or something.? Oh well, guess I'll just have to wait for Lies.

moniqua i totally agree that if they make a movie they should use the people on the covers!!! i just love all the characters (except Drake, I hate him and hope he really is dead...although i have a feeling he is still alive...)! Even Astrd, who is a bit annoying at times, but still totally awesome! anyway i can't wait for the next book!!!

AkiraFire Seriously, what is up with Brittany? She's like, undead, or something. What do you think will happen with her? I like Caine and Diana, too. I think they're far better developed than most villains in other books. Even though they're "evil" (for lack of a better word), you can tell they're kids, just like the rest of the characters. I hate Drake. He sends shivers down my spine. There's no way he's alive, though. The others at the mine would all be dead if Lana hadn't healed them, so there's no way he survived. The Gaiaphage, on the other hand, is probably still out there. I can't wait for Lies.

vampangel13 y does everybody hate drake i don't know there was always something i thought was really cool about him. Drake, Caine, Sam, Edilio and Quinn i have always liked. Most of the girls suck in the series but if i have to choose i would say Diana and Mary. all the other girls are to full of them selves or something i cant stand them. the boys aren't as bad but i agree one of the best series i have ever read.
